@okaykoala man I feel your pain, I'm 19w today and STILL not sure if any of the little flutters I've felt are actually the baby or just gas or muscles or whatever. I don't think I'll really be sure until I can see a foot poking outside

@sandbar517, I have a good friend who did those shots with her last pregnancy and her current pregnancy and said the biggest pain is actually getting to the clinic to have them done.
To me, I don't know why they don't trust you to do them yourselves at home every week. I had to do them twice daily after my ivf transfer with the twins until I was around 12 weeks. So they definitely aren't hard to self administer.
@suchaglencoco My memory already isn't the best but has just steadily gone downhill since having my son and then getting pregnant again. I can't remember anything!
@sparklingdiamond, yeah. My memory is just terrible. I told DH I should have taken not on when the twins hit milestones or when we did this or that with them. He started to spout off a ton of stuff, so thank goodness for him!!!
Kids are napping so I ate lunch and was disappointed with it. Then I remembered I just bought ice cream sandwiches. So 2 of those went down easy and I'm debating on a 3rd.
@suchaglencoco oh man, I'm already hungry again after lunch and now you just made me realize how amazing an ice cream sandwich would be, despite the fact that it's freezing and disgusting slushy rain outside.
@okaykoala I am a FTM, 20w1d and just noticed movement last week at 19wks. At times I can feel him doing somersaults or something lol, it’s definitely obvious now. Prior to that, I don’t think I felt him. But I also have anterior placenta.
@sandbar517. I completely agree, I can do Mickey Mouse all day but Puppy Dog Pals gets to me. It's a running joke in our house that Bob needs a girlfriend, or a boyfriend, just some other human interaction
I've literally never even heard of Puppy Dog Pals. We just do Netflix and Hulu. But from what I gather since DS has also not seen this I should just avoid it. I sort of want a salad right now but don't want to stand up. Happy Hanukkah to anyone celebrating!
@theletlers DS likes puppy dog pals and I actually don't mind it he says let's watch "bingo and rolly"... Some of the songs can be a little annoying but most kids shows have that.
I had a dream about nursing last night, and woke up an hour early to add more nursing stuff to my Amazon list. I didn't even have any issues with nursing DD, but I was so unprepared, and didn't pump early enough to create a good stash, and my diet at one point was literally oats, lactaction cookies, fenugreek and Guinness because I was so anxious about a supply. I stressed myself out so much that I stopped nursing at 6 months, and I'd like to go a year with this baby.
My boobs are SO freaking sore and heavy already, I can't stop thinking about it.
@loko08 I am on board with you about starting earlier with a freezer stash. I was able to nurse DS for 17 months, but it was hard!!!!!! Too many late night wakeups just so i could pump in order to have enough milk for him the next day at my sister's. Not doing that again.
Warning, AW post ahead. My best friend since 9th grade had her baby this morning after trying for 6 months to get pregnant and I could not be happier for her.

Ok, so related to my BFF having her baby this morning. She has not made any sort of announcements on Facebook about having her baby (nor has anyone in her family), and was just texting close friends to notify us. One of those friends (who was also a bridesmaid in her wedding with me and I didn't really like her) posted on her wall publicly about how happy she is for her, how she'll be such a good mommy, and can't wait to meet Baby Girl in person because she's just beautiful, etc etc. Is this totally rude, or am I overreacting because I find this person annoying anyway?

@sandbar517 I find the completely rude. She may have been waiting for any number of reasons or maybe she just wasn't interested in announcing on facebook. She could always delete or make it private I think if she wants to.
Ok, I'm glad others agree. She had told me when she texted me that they would announce on Facebook later when they get better pictures, pictures of all three of them together (the baby with mom and dad, this is her first baby), and when they decide on her name. So obviously this other girl also found out via text, so why wouldn't you just text her back instead of making a public announcement on facebook and essentially stealing her thunder by announcing her baby's birth for her? I can't believe some people.

We started watching GOT again and I am so confused! We are still in the first season. Plus the one we watched last night seemed more like porn haha
I started late in the game with this show, too! I ended up watching an episode, then going to Wikipedia to read the episode synopsis so I could fully understand wth I just watched. It really helped until I got a better handle on who was who and what they were all trying to accomplish.
@sparklingdiamond, no worries! DH made fun of me until he watched like 2 minutes of the show and walked out because he "couldn't understand what in the heck was happening!" I also still watch with the closed captioning on. It helps with accents and with whispers. No shame in my GoT game
@sandbar517 so messed up. Mom or dad get to announce when they are composed enough and want to. That girl went on FB purposely to prove she was closer to them to know before others. Not cool.
@thunderberry - I am on the secret santa struggle bus I usually like doing it but I got someone who I do not know at all, has a reputation of being rude and couldn't even bother to fill out her secret santa paper all the way.

My daughter's birthday party this weekend is GoT themed! We figure the first birthday is as much of a celebration for us as it is for her plus she won't know one way or another. I'm turning her high chair into the iron throne and have lots other awesome decorations

I cant get into game of thrones but DH is obsessed. So I play on my phone while he watches.
AFM, I’m on day 2 of this hospital stay AND HAVE A DIAGNOSIS!!! Not a fun one but I have CDiff and sludge in my gallbladder. I’m on antibiotics for the CDiff and we’re evaluating me when that calms down to see where to go from here.
@sandbar517 not overreacting... that's super rude. My mom tried to get my permission to post about my pregnancy on her fb (we haven't put anything on social media about it, yet). I was like "ummmm absolutely not!"
