  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby?
    17 weeks tomorrow, 5/22, a pear

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
I am really anxious to start showing, I want a belly to make this feel more real.  I have zero pregnancy symptoms as of late, but I do feel LO move every now and again.  We are going to FL the second week in January, hopefully my normal swimsuit will still fit me by then.

    Any upcoming appointments?
Next appt is 1/3 for the Anatomy Scan and then a follow up with my OB.

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up?
I was a total tomboy, me and my sisters were obsessed with WWF.  We always begged our parents to buy us the payperview main events like wrestlemania and summer slam, the 90's were great.  We laugh so hard at how big of nerds we were with our wrestling obsession.

  • Prefacing this with a re-introduction... I'll post in randoms too. I was active a couple of months ago before my HG got bad, and in the past couple of weeks, I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery with a hospital stay. I want to be more active here, especially now that I'm healthy!

How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby?
16 weeks 2 days. May 26 is the dd! Baby is size of... something. I should check.

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Feeling REALLY good now that my HG has subsided and my gallbladder issues are done and resolved! Surgery while pregnant was not something I wanted to have happen, but it worked out as well as it could.

    Any upcoming appointments?
Not until the anatomy scan at the end of the month

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up?
Dickies. Like the red pant Dickies.

  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby?
16+2 due May 26.  Baby is an avocado

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Feeling generally good.  I threw up this morning but I'm hoping that was a fluke.  I was feeling what i think was RLP the other day and my belly is feeling bigger.  Not big enough for anyone else to notice yet though.

    Any upcoming appointments?
    Midwife appointment on the 20th

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up?
@bwow615 I was a tomboy too.  I would wear the baggiest jeans ever... with black and white stripes on the side.  Was that even a trend?  It was for boys I think because I'm pretty sure my pants came from the boys department

@loko08 welcome back!  I'm sorry you've had a hard time but I hope it's smooth sailing from here on out
  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby? EDD May 24th which makes me 16 weeks 4 days. Size = Avacado

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? I feel great this week. Way more like myself. It’s been wonderful.

Any upcoming appointments? Midwife appt on the 21st - Anatomy scan on the 2nd. Tomorrow we have our first childbirth class at the hospital, so that’s exciting!

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up?  In the fourth grade I begged and begged and BEGGED my mom to let me get a crimpy perm. She finally caved. My god - I looked ridiculous.
  • Trying to get back to the bump, between the holidays and work travel I've had no time!

How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby?
17 weeks tomorrow, EDD May 22

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Feeling okay this week, MS is mostly gone and getting some energy back. I think I've felt baby move a couple times which was exciting! Getting a full on baby bump too, much sooner than last time.

    Any upcoming appointments?
    Not this week.

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up?
    I can't even...

@bwow615, I definitely got into wrestling for a few years. I will forever love The Rock.

@fraufarbissina, yesterday I burped so hard I threw up in my mouth. Then I moved so fast because of it that I pulled too hard on my stomach and had a bad rlp. When will it end?

@pandakov, how many classes are you taking?  This seems super early to me, but we only did one.

How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby?
    17w1d

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Nothing going on. Everything seems to be going well.
My only rant is that DH seems more "eh" about this pregnancy. He's very excited for baby 3, but admits he forgets I'm pregnant until he sees my belly. 2nd/3rd child syndrome??? He's excited to start to feeling kicks again.

Maybe half a rant? I feel huge this time. I just felt for the top of my uterus and it's already halfway up my belly button. I'm guessing in the next week or 2 I'll shut the fridge door on my bump.

    Any upcoming appointments?
Not until next week. And it's just a quick "pee here", "get weighed here", "we'll ask questions here" and "goodbye".

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up?
I wasn't really up on the trends. Don't get me wrong, I did a lot of lame and embarrassing stuff, but not trend worthy.

  • @suchaglencoco there are three of them total. It is early. We had to go ahead and sign up for the December series because it looked like the only set we could make work with my work schedule. They only offer the series once a month and it’s limited to ten couples. I’m sure I’m going to be the least pregnant person there.
  • @suchaglencoco I feel like both MH and I are more "eh" about this pregnancy.  I've written about it on here, but I think it's a normal progression.  You have two other little ones that demand your attention 24/7, so you're not spending your whole day planning the nursery and picking out names, etc.  I'm hoping the AS next week helps both of us feel more attached.  And feeling kicks, too.  Also, one of the girls I work with is about 4 weeks further along than I am, and I feel like I am way bigger than she is already.  It's her first, and she wears scrubs, so that probably has something to do with it, too, but it doesn't help me feel any better LOL

  • @sandbar517 scrubs are lovely. They hide a multitude of sins  :p

  • @sandbar517, I told him he needs to ask about the baby just once a day to suffice. That has yet to happen.
My brother asked about our nursery plans yesterday and I just laughed.
  • @suchaglencoco SO isn't as interested this pregnancy as he was with DS. I think as we get closer, and my belly starts to get bigger he will find it more real. I keep prodding him for name suggestions and his suggestions are just horrible, but at least we are talking about the baby a little bit.

Good to know I'm not alone, but definitely a weird feeling. Like I too would like to forget I'm pregnant for a whole day and not worry about how I'll take care of a newborn with twin toddlers. Or how we'll afford 3 sets of diapers. Or worry about if I should really try to bf again to try and save money or not try at all to save me from extra stress.
Men have it too damn easy!
    **end rant
  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby?
    16 and 5 days, May 24, avocado

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Well contractions are kicking in. I'm really hoping they are just Braxton hicks but I'm stressing they aren't. With DS I started having contractions at 27 weeks. This seems just way too early, but then I spin into this paranoid mindset that I just completely suck at being pregnant. It takes us a long time to conceive. My first was a horrible pregnancy beginning to end and high risk for multiple reasons. Then I had a miscarriage. Now this one, with fairly severe MS and still have to take medicine daily or just vomit, Sciatica, insomnia, a pretty constant headache that every now and then I get a break from but it seems to always come back, now this. Sorry ladies I am a huge crank lately. Also these pregnancy farts are not fun either.

    Any upcoming appointments?
    Friday morning

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up?
Oh my...I think the worst was that I loved the stirrup pants (the kind that had elastic to go around your feet.) And I would wear them with my jelly shoes and a tshirt that I would tie off to the side with a scrunchie. And I would clip my Walkman on the other side. And to top it off I would rock the side ponytail with another scrunchie. I looked so cool back then!
  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby? Due date 25th May, 16w5d today, baby is the size of an avo. Does anyone else think the weekly sizes seem strange? Some weeks the fruits don't seem to be any different in size.

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? still not loving the all day acid reflux. Have also been more tired this week and my boobs are really getting bigger and are sore. Rant: really anxious to get an obvious baby bump and not just look fat!

Any upcoming appointments? yes, next week Tuesday!

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up? I wore those Spice Girls white and black platform shoes LOL Girls were obsessed with the Spice Girls and would arrange concerts in break time! Also wore those tiny butterfly clips!! Anyone else remember those?!

@bwow I'm not even sure if I'm going to make the effort to be swimwear ready this holiday as I just feel fat and frumpy.

@loko08 welcome back! Glad you're feeling better :)

@fraufarbissina your appointment is the day after mine! GL, I'm so excited! Without a bump only the scans are proof that I'm pregnant. So happy I'm feeling little movements to reassure me though.

@pandakov I also would've died for a crimpy perm but there was no money for it! Lucky fish ;) I used to make tiny plaits in my hair when wet and let it dry overnight to try and get the same effect lol. Please let us know what you learn in birthing classes!!

@suchaglencoco sorry about dh, I'm sure many people feel less excited for second or more pregnancies, but you're right, it's harder for us to forget about it. At the end of the day I'm sure everyone will be in love with the baby when it arrives!

@theletlers rant away!! That sounds horrible!! You deserve a medal. I'm with you on the farts too... really arse rippers. Embarrassing!

And OMG I loved my jelly shoes, side pony and Walkman! You rocked it girl!

  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby?
    18 weeks! Due May 22

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Feeling a little better this week with regards to vomiting and what not.

    Any upcoming appointments?
our anatomy scan is on tuesday and I am super nervous. I just can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t right with this baby. I’m hoping it’s just irrational anxiety and not some sort of mommy intuition.

GTKY: What's the most embarrassing trend you followed growing up?
Those giant pants that everyone wore at the turn of the century.
