OPK Question

For those w/ PCOS have you ever had them work for you? I've gotten a couple of very faint lines here and there, just not sure if they are worth it... 

Me: 34 - SO: 40
TTC #1 since 8/2016
FINALLY diagnosed with anovulatory PCOS 11/2016 (Insulin resistance and multiple cysts on both ovaries)
Miscarriage on 7/19/17 at 7 weeks 
Miscarriage on 10/16/17 at 5 weeks

    I have had them work while I'm on Letrozole but not without. Hope that helps..

  • I’m not officially PCOS but have been told I present with some of the signs/am borderline. They work less than they fail for me - there are more cycles than I can count where I’ve got nothing but my dr still believes I ovulate. 
    TTC since May 2013
    Mild PCOS, Compound Heterozygous MTHFR
    No Folic acid/pharmaceuticals/supplements (too many to list- private message me if interested), IVIL infusion
  • Hey girl... I also have PCOS.. Its hit or miss with the OPK's usually I only get a + if I'm doing a medicated cycle. 
    Me: 34 DH:33
    TTC since Oct 2016
    DX: Undetermined possible PCOS+MFI 
    July 2017-Dec 2017 Letrozole+TI
    Dec 2017 CP
    Jan 2018 BFP:EDD 9-25





  • Thanks ladies! I gave up om temping because it is all over the place. I tried OPKs but they don't seem to work, was just wondering if anyone had luck with them. I appreciate the input!

  • Same as others mentioned, they only work for me on medicated cycles!  Temping never really worked either.  
    Married for 5 years, TTC for 3 years
    PCOS, Low AMH, Endo, Uterine Fibroids, Low Estrogen...
    and a Partridge in a Pear Tree. 
    3 Losses, 8/16 11/16 and 6/2017  o:)
