So really this is probably being mentally distracted by the excitement of the pregnancy, but I was going to go to Chick-FIL-a and then the grocery store. I started to go to work instead and had to make a u-turn. Then after chick-FIL-a I started to go back home instead of the grocery store and had to make another u-turn!
From the time I left the house got down the drive I forgot if I had closed the door, not locked it, closed it. Then I couldn't find my work ID. Remembered I had stuck it on my keys, checked my pockets for my keys, turned the car around and got half way home before I thought "Hey, I'm driving the car so my keys have to be in it". They were in the passenger seat.
I got the whole way to the concert I was in (I sing in a chorus) and realised I had forgotten all my music. Had to drive home and get it and go back so I missed the pre concert rehearsal. This was the day I got my BFP so yeah... a little distracted!
I have to share a "classic" (in my family) from the first go-round. We were walking our dog and trying to think of what to make for dinner. We decided on stir fry but I could not for the life of me think of one particular ingredient that I knew we were out of. I could see it in my head but couldn't grasp the words. So I said "It's like a liquid--a juice, made out of...those beans. Edamame. Yes! We need edamame juice." (aka "soy sauce")
I hope I don't lose words like I did last time--it was really bad!
ETA we still call soy sauce "edamame juice" to this day, lol.
@vinerie my best one from pregnancy #1 was when I got in the backseat of the car instead of the front. I was alone. I was driving. Not sure how I thought I could do that from the backseat
This morning I forgot L in the car. I unbuckled him so he could crawl to the drivers door, then grabbed E. Dropped her off, and am heading to drive to work and there is L pounding on the window shouting 'Nana, Nana, I wanna Nana's house!' Oh hell, I cried that he thought he didn't get to play with Nana today.

I picked up DSs dirty socks from the living room floor and threw them in the trash instead of the laundry hamper. Realized it about three seconds after I did it.
I put food that was supposed to be refrigerated in the freezer. A few other random "duh" moments like telling my dog to go outside to potty when she was still in her crate when I got home from work. Lol.
@mrsinterweb I’ve totally thrown things in the trash on accident not pregnant. I’m actually pretty spacey a lot of the time, pregnancy is just a good excuse while it lasts

I'm spacey too. I have migraines and frequently forget words. The other day I couldn't remember the word "mailbox." Haha.
Never done this before... put in a load of laundry which included dh work clothes he needs in the morning. Switched to dryer just now so they’ll be dry and get next load started. As I did that I saw a few stains didn’t come out that were surprising. And realized that I did the whole load with no detergent. So I took the New load out of the wash and switched the wet stuff back in and now it somehow has to wash and get switched and dry for 8:30 am... it’s now 10:30 and I’m heading to bed. Guess I better hope my toddler wakes me up overnight. Ughhhh
Ughhh, this has been one of the hardest things for me. I can never remember where my phone is or what time it is or what I was doing 3 seconds ago. I didn't expect this as a FTM and I don't know what to do about it. Any advice or ideas?

Nothing you can do about it, and in my experience, it never goes away. Every since my son was born I forget things I used to know and my recall is terrible. I used to have a great recall memory.
Well my OOT friends were visiting tonight I bought tickets for us weeks ago to see Star Wars tonight. Good thing we made plans to get there an hour early because I took us to the wrong theater!
