Re: Symptoms w/o 11/27

  • Extreme bitchyness and fairly impatient.

Other than that I'm sleepy, cramping and bloated. Still no MS yet!

  • Is anyone else waking up hungry/nauseous in the middle of the night? Almost every night I have to get up and have a snack! I'm 7wks and wear my Seabands 24/7 for the nausea and heartburn, and I sleep about 12 hours every night. Super emotional, boobs can't be tamed and everything smells weird. Blessed to be pregnant but can't wait for January...
  • @cegolden21 I've been waking up nauseous- I thought it was my prenatal because I take it at night but I do get nauseous when I'm hungry! Hmmm
  • @cegolden21 @acunamatada, I have crackers by my bed to snack on when I wake up. It helps a little.
  • This pregnancy is so different ! With my son my symptoms were mild - with this one it’s like I wanna crawl into bed and never come out I feel so crappy and it’s so early on!

Id like to think it’s a sign we’re gonna have a girl lol

I was think the same thing!
  • So I just noticed a new symptom that I’m not very fond of...my nipples appear to be ....puffy :s Is that even a thing?? I noticed they felt more sensitive yesterday and I looked down and thought “what the eff!?!”. I was not prepared for this at all and it didn’t help that my husband laughed while I got a little overly dramatic about my new nipples.

  • @ashbub714 normal. In fact they will get darker and bigger. They will keep changing especially if you breastfeed.

@wildtot bigger!?! Oh gosh. I had heard about darker and that didn’t bother me but the puffiness was a surprise to me and quite unnerving. Thank you for the disturbing yet helpful info  ;)
  • @ashbub714 your boobs will never be the same, trust me i wasn’t expecting it either.
  • @lindsayleigh1989 I developed SPD in my last pregnancy and have felt the familiar aching when I'm walking for a while or when I stand up from sitting down for an extended period of time. Too. Early.

Did you do any phys therapy or treatment last time around?
  • @ashbub714 What @wildtot said... They'll never be the same. RIP my perky handful of pre baby boobies.
  • @amylu914 I did physical therapy but it wasn't over helpful. ill have to use the belt again soon probably that i used last time

  • @cegolden21 100% same. There have been a lot of nights I’ve woken up around 3am wide awake, starving and nauseous. It’s miserable.

I also feel you on the boobs that won’t be tamed. I’m a 34H and they’ve already gone up a cup size. I think that might be the worst symptom so far.
  • My boobs actually didn't change much after a year of BFing, but my midsection is TOTALLY different. I always had a generally proporionate and flat stomach, but now I am all about that spare tire. I got down to below my prepregnancy weight and that thing just won't stop. After this child I will have to hit the gym or something I guess, but I haaaaate how this looks. Before pregnancy it was just effortless. Now I am just lumpy, lol
  • I wonder if bfing has a different effect on boobs over pumping? My nipples “fold” now and totally hate them. They weren’t big to begin with and now they look like deflated balloons. Still same bra size as pre pregnancy.
  • I feel like I can't ever get warm enough. This isn't usually an issue for me. I'm just always cold right now! My electricity bill is going to be through the roof this month  :|
  • Just this weekend I have started getting really lightheaded. I almost passed out at the grocery store...yikes. This did not happen with my first pregnancy so it is freaking me out. I've noticed it happens when I bend over or get up too fast, so I am trying to just be aware of that, but it also happened when I bent over to pick up my son. YIKES. I haven't fainted yet, but I feel like it is going to happen. Is anyone else experiencing this? I will discuss with my doctor, just wondering if there is anything else I can do to combat this?
  • @limoncat I've been pretty dizzy from time to time but I haven't fainted. With my 1st my MW said it was related to blood pressure and it should normalize. Could the issue be blood sugar/ not eating frequently enough? I felt like that with my first, but later in the pregnancy.
  • @acunamatada I feel like I've been eating a ton. I also put this in this week's symptom thread and some ladies suggested drinking more water, so I will try that. I think I will also attend to the timing of my meals, I suspect I would do better with small frequent meals to perhaps stabilize my blood sugar. Thanks!
  • I was coming on here to ask anyone if any STM are experiencing SPD? I experienced it with my first early on in my third trimester, now, it’s like full blown !! Gah!  Are you guys experiencing it now

Also, I know this may be TMI but ever since I gave birth (vaginally) I always get this very sharp burning pain on what feels like tip of my pubic bone? It’s hard to describe but usually happens when I’m laying down for a while . Anyone else or just me? Lol
  • After about my sixth week, symptoms have died down. I'm always tied, always bitchy, and I'm not in the mood to get touched. Other than that, boobs are better, smells don't bother me, not feeling faint, itchiness is gone, and the wicked dreams have calmed down.

Who knew the difference a week could make.
  • Remind me what SPD is again...
  • @devilcat139 thanks! I'm obsessed with crackers lol saltines are like my fav snack even when not pregnant haha I know, weird.
