Pardon my DD post, but I need to vent for a moment and I know all of you
can sympathize. It seems like my doctor's office is totally dropping
the ball on organization so far this month. Last week, I asked them if I could wait
until the afternoon on Friday for my bloodwork since it was horribly
inconvenient for me to come in that morning. The nurses told me that I
really had to do a morning draw since the doctor was going out of town
that evening. Okay, fine. I made it work. But they never called me last
week or today to let me know if everything looked okay, which they've
done every time before. Now I'm supposed to go in this Friday for more
bloodwork and my final ultrasound before my FET next week. They have not
given me any information about when my appointment is! I'm not just
sitting around on my couch all day... I need some advance notice if I
need to rearrange my work schedule! I called the nurses earlier today
and they said they didn't have any information since the doctor had been
seeing patients all morning. Hopefully they are able to pin him down
and they'll call me soon, but I'm not impressed by the disorganization. /vent over

@SkilledSailor definitely feeling overwhelmed still but I keep telling myself that I can do this. @kiwi2628 major hugs, friend. I am so sorry this cycle didn't work out. Insurance sucks and I hate that you have to pay all over again in January. Fx that the new protocol will work better for you. @beachbunnyxo123@KristoKekerooni I should be starting stims the first week of January also!! @AlohaKumu that is super annoying!! I think they forget that everyone has a life outside of TTC and you can't just drop everything and run when they need you to come in for an appointment. My office scheduled my saline sono for next Tuesday without asking me if that was an okay time. Thank goodness it worked out but I was still annoyed that they didn't even check with me before telling me I had to be there Tuesday at 11. I hope they get back to you soon!

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Post egg retrieval waiting for AF of doom
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Did our egg retrieval. I had a strong response to the stem injections and went into mild OHSS so it was too dangerous on my health to attempt a fresh transfer.
How are things going? Egg retrieval went well (23 eggs, 21 mature, 14 fertilized, 9 embryos frozen today) but the recovery from OHSS has been rough. So bloated, fatigued, nauseous, and painful to move at any more than a snails pace. After 5 days of that, I am finally feeling like a human today.
Any questions? Anyone else have doctors that are really putting their foot down about only transferring one embryo at a time? I really want to transfer 2 now that we have had yet another set back and we've been working towards this for over a year.
GTKY: What is one of your big (non- TTC related) fears? Those halloween scream park things and horror movies. In real life not much scares but that over done horror stuff ends up sticking with me. And my husband is in law enforcement, so I am always concerned for his safety.
Hi. I figured I would put this out there at the beginning of the week & then pop back into the shadows until we know more or I have questions. Short version: I have juvenile rheumatoid & a uterine septum. MH does his SA tomorrow and we see the RE next Monday for additional testing. Eta: words are hard. Also, RA doesn’t necessarily cause IF (in case anyone was worried I was insinuating that. Like I said, that was the TLDR version )
@AlohaKumu Sorry your RE is being annoying. The lack of communication and assumed "drop everything" scheduling practices is a large part of why we switched REs. Also, If you do start the naturals thread, I'd love tips on making natural cleaners!
Diagnosis (If you've been): LPD?
Cycle/CD: CD1
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Sent a message to the RE, stay tuned.
How are things going? Along with the usual CD1 feels, I'm bummed that even with progesterone supplements I only made it to a 12 day LP. Like, how hard is it, body?
Any questions? So if this Dec cycle doesn't work, we're moving on to IVF. Sounds like many here are! How long does it take to do all the consent, etc? If I have to do it, I'd like to get it done and over with in January...
GTKY: What is one of your big (non- TTC related) fears? needles. sigh.
@kiwi2628 I am so sorry you had to cancel. That really sucks after going through all the stimming. Drink all the wine you want. I hope your new protocol will work better next cycle.
@SkilledSailor That scuks you're having bad side effects. What med will you try next cycle?
@laurad75 PUPO! My fingers are crossed so hard for you!
@darkstar42 Hopefully you get the best Christmas present!
@shortstack930 That's a very busy morning. Sounds like you are getting a lot of things checked off the list for preparing for IVF.
@beachbunnyxo123 I haven't done IVF, but I've done a lot of the IVF drugs and I go through Kings Pharmacy. They're fast and easy to work with and their prices are good. I think the cost is really different from person to person though - depending on how much you stim and for how long. My clinic is just going to have me order my meds if I have a negative beta - so just a couple days before AF comes during the cycle I'd be doing IVF.
@AlohaKumu That's great to have IRL friends with IF that you can talk with. I think a "natural" thread is a great idea! Also, sorry to hear about the disorganization at your clinic. There's already so much unknown and frustrating with IF, it's nice when the scheduling is easy!
@ndz2018 I'm not sure why they would freeze it. I hope you get assigned an awesome new nurse!
@KristoKekerooni Praying for cheap flights for you! I go through Kings for meds my insurance doesn't cover.
@emmasemm I'm glad you're having a great Monday despite IF. Sounds very cozy. Hoping all the best for you for your conversation with your RE on the go forward plan.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Letrozole + Gonal-F + trigger + IUI + progesterone
How are things going? Good! I have 3 follicles taking the lead. They're still only around 12 mm now, so I have awhile to go, but so far, it looks like we are on track for IUI. My hopes for this cycle are really high, which is frightening, but I can't help it. Just trying to do some fertility yoga and cool my jets for now.
Any questions?
GTKY: What is one of your big (non- TTC related) fears? Spiders. I am absolutely terrified of them - even the small ones.
@kiwi2628 - I am so sorry your cycle got cancelled. My heart hurts for you!
@lulu1180 - Sorry about all the side effects. as far as shampoos ... I started using Monat as a spurge to myself because my hair has been thinning and limp with all the crazy hormone waves and stress. Its been working really well and has a long long list of what they avoid. Its a direct sales company (I'm not a rep, just love it)
@laurad75 - So happy for you! FX for you and your little embryo!
@beachbunnyxo123 - My clinic had me call with CD1, I started BCPs on CD2, clinic sent the IVF med order to specialty pharmacy, Pharmacy called me to set up co-pay and confirm a shipping date, once I had all the meds on my list in my possession I called the IVF clinic and then they gave me a stop date on my BCP and I moved forward with monitoring and stimming... Hope that makes sense! Good luck! (sorry I don't know full cost, our insurance covered a good chunk of the meds)
@AlohaKumu - thats so awesome you have some ART buddies!
@RVAmom315 Taking a break for the holidays sounds like a
good plan. I’m beginning to wish I’d done the same!
@Avrilmai It’s so hard to find a good balance between
staying hopeful and not getting our hopes up too high. Fx this is your cycle
and your hopes are fully justified.
@dpjennifer So excited that you’re off the bench! Also, I
love your siggy gif.
@shortstack930 It sounds like you went through a lot today!
*hugs*
@beachbunnyxo123 I’m so glad you pushed to schedule your
sono with the other RE, and that’s great that your RE seems totally fine with
it. Good for you for being such an awesome advocate for yourself!
@AlohaKumu How great to meet other people going through ART
procedures! I have a co-worker/friend who went through IVF, so she’s been a
great reference. Do you have a sense yet for when your beta will be? I’m almost
regretting scheduling a cycle with this timing now! I’m sorry that your RE’s
office has been so disorganized! How frustrating to deal with.
@ndz2018 Thank you! What does it mean for an SA to be
unreadable? Is it a lab issue?
@KristoKekerooni I know, the timeline is awful! Or
potentially great, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much, after last
cycle. Fx though!
@kiwi2628 I’m so, so sorry to hear that. *hugs* Take time
for yourself and YH to recover. Fx so hard that you respond well to the other
protocol.
@emmasemm I’ll be waiting to hear what your RE says on
Friday! Fx he’s willing to go with your ideas! Sounds like several of us will
be hanging out on here around Christmas. It’ll just be MH and I for Christmas
day, so we can wallow if we need to.
@thecolddoesbotherme Glad to hear that you’re beginning to
recover from the OHSS! That sounds rough to deal with.
@kiwi2628, I am so, so sorry you got cancelled. That just utterly sucks after having come so far. If there's a super slight silver lining, I guess it's that at least this doesn't count toward your limit, and hopefully your doctors were able to learn from it. Take all of the time that you need and take care of yourself.
@lulu1180, I use Renpure tea tree and lemon sage. I'm sort of impartial to it though. I like it, but I'm not in love with it. That said, I'll take it if it's helping egg quality (and I truly think all of the random crap we do helps!)
@beachbunnyxo123, I really hope Thurs goes well for you. What a trial that's been so far. GL! The pharmacy I ordered from ships overnight, so as long as you order by Thurs, you don't have to order that far in advance at all. My meds were a little over $5k, but I had to up my doses part way through, and that includes FET meds.
@kristokekerooni, I've heard a lot of people talk about using GoodRx to cost compare. We just used the pharmacy that our RE sent my scripts to (Braun pharmacare out of Chicago), but they were in line with or cheaper than my cost comparisons anyway. Also, depending on what meds you're on, check for programs directly from the manufacturer. Some of them offer discount programs. Merck's DesignRx (follistim & ganirelix) is one example.
@alohakumu, Dr office disorganization is one of my biggest pet peeves too, so I hear you there. I'm sure I'd be much more annoyed with my RE's office if I didn't have her cell number to annoy her directly... FX they can pin your RE down asap!
Diagnosis (If you've been): OAT, plus some random ish.
Cycle/CD: Idk. Month like 34. CD dos (2).
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFFET
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) FET
How are things going? Eh. I'm clearly moody and I haven't even started the Lupron yet, but FET, so I have no real complaints. Just hanging out on BC for the next 3 weeks.
Any questions? Nope. I feel unprepared for this end of things, I don't know why... I just feel like I put so much energy into being prepared for ER and not getting my hopes up that it would work that I didn't even really think about part 2 here.
GTKY: What is one of your big (non- TTC related) fears? Hmmmm. Spideys.
@jrm_14 I have a Uterine septum too. Just scheduled my surgery for Jan 8th however Dec we will be doing our egg retrieval, then surgery and FET when I’m healed so I’m hoping for a Feb FET but in reality it’ll be more like March. Are you getting the surgery too?
@darkstar42 They said something like there wasn’t enough sperm per high power field to get an accurate reading... whatever that means. Got our 3rd SA back today and got the results... so just waiting for insurance to clear the ICSI @madspunk I actually LOVE her! She made me feel much better about the SA today.. his count was still low , 5 mil, but she told me not to stress Bc we have plenty for IVF
@ndz2018 We will see what the RE has to say before making a decision on surgery. “Glad” to have someone else going through the surgery around the same time, if that’s the route we choose.
@jrm_14 My guess is they’ll want you to have the surgery. Research that I’ve done is you can have a healthy pregnancy with the septum but there is a higher rate of a loss. I had a strange feeling a few months into TTC that something was wrong.. TW I had a loss about 18 years ago with oops pregnancy( I was 19) and I suspect that may have been the reason. HOW they didn’t see it then I have no idea END TW So that Plus the MFI factor they moved us straight to IVF.
@beachbunnyxo123 - I definitely haven't ordered yet! Just comparing prices! I only received the list on Friday... So I am just really fast at comparing anyway. Ha. Can you believe it's right here around the corner?

@thecolddoesbotherme My RE is strongly against transferring more
than one. It’s not ideal for the babies
or the mother to carry multiples and there is a lot of risk so there is just
cause for the opinion. That being said,
if you really want to transfer two you should be able to have a discussion with
your doctor about it.
@halfanewt I feel like my first IVF cycle started last
January but the ER didn’t happen until February. Sometimes they will put you on bcp for 2-3
weeks while they get insurance authorization which can take forever.

@KristoKekerooni I'm surprised you did it a second cycle! Hope you're able to find some good cheap flights! When do you head out?
@dpjennifer *hugs* I'm sure that's hard. FX the medicated cycles do the trick for you!
@kiwi2628 *hugs* So sorry the IVF was cancelled. Hopefully the new procedure works much better for your body. Hope you're able to take care of yourself this week.
@emmasemm I just love your positive attitude! What are some of your ideas you want to run by your RE?
@alohakumu Ugh that's annoying. I hope they get their ish together asap!
@halfanewt Is your RE not satisfied with a 12 day LP? That's my LP length and our RE doesn't seem concerned about it.
@madspunk Not sure yet. I go in on Thursday for an US to check on things. Hopefully we'll come up with a new game plan then. It's good to be hopeful! FX this is your cycle!
@zwink1 Hope you're feeling a bit better today. I'm sure it's a lot to mentally take in.
@ndz2018 I am also baffled as to why they would freeze a
non-viable sample. Maybe some of the other women have some insight into that.
@laurad75 I will be stalking you until your beta!!
@skilledsailor Those side effects sound horrible. What’s
strange is that for a while I felt like my symptoms were really mild, and then
last week out of nowhere I felt like shit. Some similar to you.. constipation,
headache, and tinnitus! So strange. I’ve never felt ovulation pain, but I had
this feeling like rocks were in my uterus, which I assume was ovulation?
@dpjennifer I have a cousin who is seriously 150 pounds overweight
and she pops kiddos out like its her job. 6 In 10 years, so I hate it when drs
ask patients to lose 20 pounds. It’s
kind’ve along the same lines as how we try to limit coffee, use natural
products, limit wine, etc and there are drug addicts getting pregnant. Also,
can I ask why adoption is off the table to H? I know that’s personal, so don’t
feel like you have to answer.
@alohakumu I would be so frustrated. My RE’s office
sometimes works like that and it drives me crazy. Like, no one with a job, or
any responsibilities goes to an RE obviously?
@thecolddoesbotherme Glad you’re feeling a bit better, and 9
frozen is great! From what I understand,
most doctors prefer to transfer one at a time. The risks are lower, obviously.
After a certain age, or after failed transfers, that’s when they will transfer
more.
@zwink1 You have the right to be moody Even though I haven’t been where you are
right now, I think it’s totally normal to feel unprepared.I don’t think any of us planned to be where
we are currently, and no matter how much we read or prepare for what’s next, it
can still be so strange.
@SkilledSailor & @Redpuma119 , Based on my cycles (pretty regular) and an estimated ~10 days of stimming, I should be doing ER around Jan 22ish.

@kiwi2628 So sorry about your cancelled cycle. Small positive is the insurance not counting it. So that's good. Upsetting all around though.
@AlohaKumu Ugh, disorganization is the pits! Tell them to get their sh*te together! This is hard enough!
Redpuma119 Exactly! Also, I feel like every time I have a MC I gain an extra 5 lbs. I just can't shake. I was soo much healthier, with a lower weight, before I started this TTC journey 2+ years ago! Ugh... the adoption thing is difficult to explain, mostly because I don't even understand DH's hesitancy towards it. I guess I'm all "Yay kids." and was 100% sure I'd have kids... and DH was all "Well, if my wife wants kids, then we'll probably have them. If not, then no big deal in my life." And I know he is adamant about not raising someone else's kids (like, if there were a baby daddy in the picture). But, I'm not entirely certain why he's sooo against adoption. Le sigh.

@Redpuma119 There are definitely a few board members I hope to meet IRL someday, especially with the hopes that we all graduate soon! I agree that talking to your RE would be a good idea. If they are being lax with the assumption that you'll do IVF, then I would also just go for it at that point. @wishiwaspreggo What an awesome plan! I hope all goes well for you and DW as you sync up your cycles. @ndz2018 So many things for you! Maybe they froze the sample so they would have the sperm there, with the assumption that it's there. Just because they messed up the testing doesn't mean there aren't valuable swimmers in the sample! If you are doing ICSI, even just a few good sperm are all they need. @KristoKekerooni The only time I had to go outside our network for meds was with Freedom. I was happy with them and they even sent me a biohazard box included with the order. @emmasemm I hope they can give you a good plan of action during the Friday WTF meeting. @thecolddoesbotherme I'm sorry to hear about your OHSS, but I'm glad you are finally starting to feel better. Oh yes, our office is very set on only transferring one at a time. They really will only do more than one if you've done multiple FETs or had multiple losses. It's so much safer for everyone involved to try to avoid multiples. (Even though I love the idea of twins, I've done a lot of research and realized how much the risk increases.) @halfanewt It took us about a year to get where we are with IVF/FET after DH's diagnosis, but part of that was waiting for our donor and taking a break after his surgery. @madspunk That's awesome that you have three follies getting ready for your IUI! Grow little follies! @darkstar42 Normally the RE's office is pretty on top of things, which makes this recent lack of communication very noticeable. Our beta will be on the 24th, but I already know I'm going to be using HPTs in the days leading up to it. @zwink1 I didn't feel like the FET stuff was really real until December 1 rolled around. That's awesome that you have your RE's cell. We have a pager number, but I feel like I should only call if it was a real emergency and not a scheduling issue. I'll make Friday work no matter what, but it's just sort of annoying.
AFM Still no call about the appointment time for Friday, but I really appreciate all of you letting me vent.

@KristoKekerooni if you get off the TTGP board and go to the infertility board, there are monthly IVF groups. I just joined the January one. Being a part of one for the Nov/December one was really nice, so I highly suggest it!
@kristokekerooni Even though I am not doing IVF (yet) I still like the idea of an IVF thread. I love that I can get information here, and supplemented with my own research, have a drs appointment where I am ready and can actually participate in the conversation. Having questions ready is better than going home, having it sink in and then calling back. I am all for it. IVF is still TTGP. IF Unite!!
@kiwi2628@KristoKekerooni I’m due to have my ER that same week too!!! Pending that all goes well tomorrow with my saline!! Yay! Glad we can all be ER buddies. Also so glad to not have to go through IVF alone and am grateful to have a place to ask questions and get support!
@kiwi2628 0- I thought of that after I posted. I had looked at the IF board before, but t's SO much! I need to look more in depth and see if it's too much to participate in or not.
Yayyyyyy @beachbunnyxo123 I feel the same. SO freaking glad to not be out on my own. It'll be nice to be able to talk back and forth. Would it be totally weird to start a group chat with January IVFers? Here or on facebook or something?

Yes! @KristoKekerooni you are welcome to join us on the IF board. I don't keep up with every thread just a few specific ones that are relevant to where I am. It does look like a lot at first but lurk for a while and its not so bad.

@KristoKekerooni, I've thought before that it would be great to have an "IVF tips, tricks, and Q&A" thread or something similar. While I love the IF board's monthly threads for supoort from ladies going through it with you, it would be pretty nice to have a centralized place to ask all of your random IVF related questions - like where/how to get meds, how to kill some of the burn from some injections, is such and such thing that's currently happening normal, etc.
@Sailing_Mama The hope is such a double-edged sword, but it’s
hard not to get my hopes up at least somewhat! Any side effects from the
letrozole for you? I’ve had some minor hot flashes and headaches, but that’s
it.
@darkstar42 A couple hours after I took it I had a bit of a pressure type headache and felt like my head was made of cotton, but feel okay today... I’m hoping that any side effects stay minimal Glad you’re handling it well too!
@KristoKekerooni having some sort of January IVF group chat would be nice since it seems like there will be a lot of us! Or an IVF thread sounds good also! @Sailing_Mama it’s hard to come to terms with the fact that you’re reached the point of medication but I really hope this works for you.

@KristoKekerooni @shortstack930. I have found the IF board is really not so scary. I am not sure if they have started a January IVF thread yet, but if so, just jump in! They just break the threads down to monthly IUI / IVF / FET threads, and people bounce around as need be. I was active on the July/August ivf thread, which is still active for updates from that crew, as well as November and December FET threads. I think once you get the hang of it, you should be just fine. ❤

@kiwi2628 major hugs, friend. I am so sorry this cycle didn't work out. Insurance sucks and I hate that you have to pay all over again in January. Fx that the new protocol will work better for you.
@beachbunnyxo123 @KristoKekerooni I should be starting stims the first week of January also!!

"Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks,

Diminished ovarian reserve
BFP: 4/14/2020 EDD: 12/20/2020
Diagnosis (If you've been): Unexplained
Cycle/CD: 30ish/CD18 (I think)
@kiwi2628 I'm so sorry. I hope 2018 is your year!
@KariAnn323 Over 20 pounds is GREAT!
Diagnosis (If you've been): NIR PCOS
Cycle/CD: month 23/CD 11
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle?
@dpjennifer - congrats on being back in the game!
@RVAmom315 Taking a break for the holidays sounds like a good plan. I’m beginning to wish I’d done the same!
@Avrilmai It’s so hard to find a good balance between staying hopeful and not getting our hopes up too high. Fx this is your cycle and your hopes are fully justified.
@dpjennifer So excited that you’re off the bench! Also, I love your siggy gif.
@shortstack930 It sounds like you went through a lot today! *hugs*
@beachbunnyxo123 I’m so glad you pushed to schedule your sono with the other RE, and that’s great that your RE seems totally fine with it. Good for you for being such an awesome advocate for yourself!
@AlohaKumu How great to meet other people going through ART procedures! I have a co-worker/friend who went through IVF, so she’s been a great reference. Do you have a sense yet for when your beta will be? I’m almost regretting scheduling a cycle with this timing now! I’m sorry that your RE’s office has been so disorganized! How frustrating to deal with.
@ndz2018 Thank you! What does it mean for an SA to be unreadable? Is it a lab issue?
@wishiwaspreggo Glad you and YW have a plan in place!
@KristoKekerooni I know, the timeline is awful! Or potentially great, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much, after last cycle. Fx though!
@kiwi2628 I’m so, so sorry to hear that. *hugs* Take time for yourself and YH to recover. Fx so hard that you respond well to the other protocol.
@emmasemm I’ll be waiting to hear what your RE says on Friday! Fx he’s willing to go with your ideas! Sounds like several of us will be hanging out on here around Christmas. It’ll just be MH and I for Christmas day, so we can wallow if we need to.
@thecolddoesbotherme Glad to hear that you’re beginning to recover from the OHSS! That sounds rough to deal with.
@jrm_14 You are welcome here, friend.
@madspunk I hope so too! I’ve got my fx for you this cycle as well! Three follies sounds awesome!
@laurad75, FX so hard for you!!!
Hmmmm. Spideys.
Are you getting the surgery too?
@madspunk I actually LOVE her! She made me feel much better about the SA today.. his count was still low , 5 mil, but she told me
not to stress Bc we have plenty for IVF
So that Plus the MFI factor they moved us straight to IVF.

ER#2 ~Jan 2019
@thecolddoesbotherme My RE is strongly against transferring more than one. It’s not ideal for the babies or the mother to carry multiples and there is a lot of risk so there is just cause for the opinion. That being said, if you really want to transfer two you should be able to have a discussion with your doctor about it.
@halfanewt I feel like my first IVF cycle started last January but the ER didn’t happen until February. Sometimes they will put you on bcp for 2-3 weeks while they get insurance authorization which can take forever.
2017 - egg retrieval #1 - 3 eggs, 0 embryos appropriate for transfer; ER #2 2 eggs, 0 embryos on day 3; ER #3 1 egg 0 embryos
moved to donor egg in summer 2017; 35 eggs retrieved; 19 fertilized; 9 total embryos
Fresh transfer Dec 2017= BFP! baby boy born 8/22/18
May 2019 - surprise natural pregnancy ended in MC
Nov 2019 FET; MC at 9 weeks
May 2020 FET; BFN
July 2020 FET; CP treated with methotrexate
Oct 2020 BFP!
Take a look at my blog
@dpjennifer *hugs* I'm sure that's hard. FX the medicated cycles do the trick for you!
@kiwi2628 *hugs* So sorry the IVF was cancelled. Hopefully the new procedure works much better for your body. Hope you're able to take care of yourself this week.
@emmasemm I just love your positive attitude! What are some of your ideas you want to run by your RE?
@alohakumu Ugh that's annoying. I hope they get their ish together asap!
@shortstack930 You absolutely can do this!
@ndz2018 I am also baffled as to why they would freeze a non-viable sample. Maybe some of the other women have some insight into that.
@laurad75 I will be stalking you until your beta!!
@skilledsailor Those side effects sound horrible. What’s strange is that for a while I felt like my symptoms were really mild, and then last week out of nowhere I felt like shit. Some similar to you.. constipation, headache, and tinnitus! So strange. I’ve never felt ovulation pain, but I had this feeling like rocks were in my uterus, which I assume was ovulation?
@dpjennifer I have a cousin who is seriously 150 pounds overweight and she pops kiddos out like its her job. 6 In 10 years, so I hate it when drs ask patients to lose 20 pounds. It’s kind’ve along the same lines as how we try to limit coffee, use natural products, limit wine, etc and there are drug addicts getting pregnant. Also, can I ask why adoption is off the table to H? I know that’s personal, so don’t feel like you have to answer.
@kristokekerooni When are you guys planning on traveling again?
@kiwi2628 That is so disappointing. SO sorry.
@alohakumu I would be so frustrated. My RE’s office sometimes works like that and it drives me crazy. Like, no one with a job, or any responsibilities goes to an RE obviously?
@thecolddoesbotherme Glad you’re feeling a bit better, and 9 frozen is great! From what I understand, most doctors prefer to transfer one at a time. The risks are lower, obviously. After a certain age, or after failed transfers, that’s when they will transfer more.
@zwink1 You have the right to be moody Even though I haven’t been where you are right now, I think it’s totally normal to feel unprepared. I don’t think any of us planned to be where we are currently, and no matter how much we read or prepare for what’s next, it can still be so strange.
@SkilledSailor & @Redpuma119 , Based on my cycles (pretty regular) and an estimated ~10 days of stimming, I should be doing ER around Jan 22ish.

Le sigh.

Lupron Depo March 2024. Benched 3 months. Hopefully FET after that.

(Even though I love the idea of twins, I've done a lot of research and realized how much the risk increases.)
@halfanewt It took us about a year to get where we are with IVF/FET after DH's diagnosis, but part of that was waiting for our donor and taking a break after his surgery.

@kiwi2628 I’m so so sorry that you didn’t respond as hoped and had to cancel
