Wonderful man.

I got out of bed pretty late today. DH came home early and brought home two gourmet donuts and drinks (coffee for him, spiced hot chocolate for me).
Also, he didn't give me any crap about not coming downstairs until 11am.

I love my husband so much, but right now he is in Puerto Rico until December 23rd and it's been a ROUGH week. I don't know if I can do three more of these.....

My DH has been awesome. He cooks dinner and then cleans the kitchen up every night, has done the bulk of the evening routine with the kids, and waits on me when I'm laying on the couch or in bed. He also reminds me to take my prenatal vitamins. And all without complaining or asking for praise.

@stlmegs Only 22 more days! My DH is military, we have become experts at having solo holidays, solo birthdays, solo anniversaries, etc. Does your DH travel for work?

Hero!! we went to wildlights at the zoo yesterday night and i met up with him straight from work, so I hadn't eaten. Without asking, he showed up with a lunchbox full of snacks and my herbalife shake (which btw has been a lifesavor with all my nausea) and then carried our DD almost the whole evening through the zoo. Then at the end of the night, we traveled from the very back of the park all the way out to our car in the boonies, when I realized that I was without my phone! My hubby ran ALL the way back to the clear back of the zoo again to retrieve my phone from the womans restroom! Lol. All before the zoo closed! So proud. He made my night. And made me cry. Haha

Now he just texted and said hes makin dinner tonight! Gah! So happy

@echocharlietango Thank him for his service! And thank you for supporting him. I can't imagine how challenging, but also how rewarding, that life would be. The videos on Facebook of Military families reuniting make me cry EVERY time! My husband is ex Army, but we weren't together when he was active in the service. He doesn't travel much for work, just occasionally, so I am so not used to him being gone. He's in the Army Corp of Engineers, and he's in Puerto Rico helping with Hurricane Relief. I am super proud of him and the work that they are doing, just miss him a ton.

I’m glad to see other military spouses here! I am a veteran and my husband is still active duty. He JUST got home from a 6 month deployment and I got pregnant virtually instantaneously lol Anyway, he has been SO amazing with this pregnancy! With my son I didn’t have any morning sickness or anything so dealing with all day sickness this pregnancy has been killing me! I feel like such a lazy bum lol He has been taking our son to run errands so I can nap and does his bath routine every night so I can have a few minutes to focus on not throwing up

Yay for supportive hubbies!!

Thoughtful Novice
He is totally clueless, but has been so considerate. He reminds me to take my vitamins; makes me breakfast before work when I don't sleep well, and even stayed up late one night cooking food to make my work lunches for me!

I'm so impressed you guys are making it work while your hubs travel. Mine travels a couple days a week for work, sometimes to Asia, and those are not my best days.
