Reasons I Cry Pregnant

I’m typically not very emotional so all the things that make me cry when I’m pregnant are pretty entertaining (at least to my husband).

What are some crazy things you’ve cried about pregnant?

I’ll go first.

I cried because both the Chick-Fil-A and Taco Bell drive thru were closed tonight.

@kdm211 I think in this case it’s fine it started randomly because no one has been starting this thread recently.

AFM...we were watching the VS Fashion Show and a girl fell and I started crying. It was so sad! She wasn’t getting up so I thought she was hurt. Then someone helped her up and she finished her walk. Then they showed her crying back stage and I got irrationally angry that they were showing that when she is already embarrassed enough.

Today I cried watching my daughters current favourite show because the main character’s horse was lost in the dessert and couldn’t find its way back home.

Yesterday I cried because the pasta I made for supper was everything I ever wanted and tasted SO good.

I was walking to the gym this morning and just burst into tears. No explanation. The few other people on the sidewalk at 5:45 am must have thought I was a lunatic.

The only thing that makes me cry these days is Harry Potter movies. They've been marathoning them on Freeform for like a month, and every time I see them, regardless of which movie, I cry a little bit. Harry just had to go through so much at such a young age....

I saw Coco last weekend and cried so much at the end. But in my defense it was emotional lol. My husband teased me and I was like "It's the hormones!!!!"

Last night I cried because I forgot to pick up lettuce at the grocery store and I want tacos SO BAD. Luckily DH is headed to town today for a few things so he will bring some home.

@lisa2589 I had tacos last night but they were a bad idea, I tasted them all night until my 4th tums.

I cried yesterday after watching a new mom on 16 and pregnant crying that her baby was so fussy. He needed to be hospitalized for severe reflux so I was crying thinking about how sorry I felt for the poor suffering baby!

I cried during the last two episodes of “this is us”.

Also cried this morning because I feel so horrible and DS1 said “don’t cry mommy! Take a deep breath!” *cue even more tears*

cried on the phone to my OBs nurse and she said I can come in and get checked this afternoon. So that’s a positive!

I cried this weekend sitting on my basement floor because people were helping me get out my old hot water heater so I could get a new one. I felt bad for "wasting" their time on a Sunday.

I cry every time my sister sends me a picture of my niece. She's growing up without me and it breaks me down, every time I see her she is bigger.

The other day in class my instructor showed a 15 minute long video about a 30-something football player who was diagnosed with ALS right when his wife found out she was pregnant. It was sad on its own but being a mom AND pregnant I lost it. I also cry listening to Christmas music now.

@elsie42 I cried at Coco too!!! I also cried during the Frozen short at the beginning.

In addition to crying over movies, I cried at a video of my niece doing a performance on her cello. she's gotten so good and I was so proud!

um...I cried because my husband drank the last of the orange juice.

I cried looking at a holiday book to read to my class. The people in the building were being so nice to the new family. It just made me so happy.

I cried while at a wedding watching the mother son dance. All I could think of was some day I’ll be doing that with my son. I had to turn my back to the dance floor to contain myself haha

I was wondering if a thread like this would start! Before my BFP I was on a plane watching the movie SING and I started to tear up when the elephant started singing... and that's when I realized I should probably take a pregnancy test. I am not usually a crier!

I cried at the opening number of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade last week. Because I was feeling nostalgic. I cried 5 mins beforr that because TODAY featured an 8 year old St. Jude cancer survivor getting the royal treatment at Legoland. I cried at least one other time that day, but can’t remember why...

Anyone read Confessions of a Domestic Failure? I cried listening to the audio book this morning during my commute because a mom of an 8 month old was having a hard time and her MIL came over and was so sweet to her and completely understanding. I'm usually not such a sap.

I watched a video of a marathon runners legs giving out just before the finish line and two people helping her keep going and then a third person picking her up and running with her and putting her down just before the finish line to finish the race.

Recent reasons for crying:

- the store didn't have the cauliflower and cheese that I really wanted
- first ultrasound
- telling a friend how much I felt love for my H when he was excited to hear the heartbeat
- friend then telling me how much that will be when he holds the baby, then I started picturing it
- H clipping cat's nails, because I thought it was sweet
- Watching This is Us and Kate's mum showed up {I think I would've cried pregnant or not}

@Katek819 that would make me cry too. Maybe even before being pregnant too.

I just got done crying bc a girl I manage just texted me saying today is the day! She is 39 weeks pregnant and has been miserable since about week 34. She is known to have very large babies. She has been so swollen to the point where it scares me for the future.

I feel like we have been rooting for her to have this baby for past 2-3 weeks and today is the day! We aren't even really super close or anything but I just shed a lot of tears of joy.

Also cried when I saw my Husband had the first ultrasound on his phone background.
Then again when I saw he updated it with newest one.

Then once again when I saw he had a copy of both posted on his desk.

Watching Toy Story 3 when Andy goes to college and leaves the toys with the little girl. I started crying and then MH started crying. Then he brought out his stuffed lion and puppy from when he was a kid.
