How far along are you?
33 weeks today!
Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby?
Mentally, yes. But I still need to get baby's dresser and organize clothing.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time?
DS was taken to the NICU immediately after birth, this time I want to keep my baby with me and get the chance to bond and establish breastfeeding.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO?
According to my doctor my EDD is 1/10, my midwife says 1/17, but I feel like this baby is coming early. My current guess is 1/5. Probably just optimistic!

Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby? I'm pretty ready. Nursery is done, registry items purchased, everything put away, car seat base installed. Still working on daily hypnosis.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time? Well, I would like LO to cook a little bit longer (DD was born at 36+6) and I'm hoping for a VBAC rather than a C-section.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO? My EDD is 1/6/2018. I'm guessing that I'll give birth 12/21 (this would be 37+5).

Baby #3: Due January 2018
How far along are you? 31+ 2 Still can’t believe there is less than 8 weeks till she is here.
Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby? I have a lot to do still. DH needs to paint DS room this weekend, then next week we will get the boys bunk beds. Once we have the bunk beds we can move my step-sons stuff into their room and out of the newbs room. Then DH needs to repaint the crib, which we’re waiting to do till the bunk beds for the boys come since DS is sleeping in it still as a toddler bed. Then we should get the dresser in the mail and DH can put that together. I’m about to put in my completion discount orders from Amazon and Target and get the glider, towels, bath supplies, sheets, etc. Basically everything because our shower mostly resulted in size 2/3 diapers. So I have a lot to still pickup and do and I feel insanely unprepared.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time? This time will be a planned c-section so I’ve already discussed with my OB that I want to remember how it goes. Last time I could feel them stitching me up and I had to be knocked out, which then meant that I was out for about 4 hours and I don’t remember anything about DS’s birth or meeting him really until the next morning. I do remember them trying to get me to breastfeed while I totally loopy and couldn’t feel my body so I have no clue still if I was even successful that time. I don’t think I was. Anyway… we had a good talk about pain management on the front end so that I won’t have to be knocked out.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO? Due date is 1/29/18, but my repeat should be around 1/22/18, if I last that long. I really think I’ll probably go around 1/8/18, 37 weeks. Maybe. We will see. Hopefully I make it that long. haha.

Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby?
Everything is ready for this baby!! I need to pack my toddlers bag so that he can stay with my in-laws until my parents can get here but that's about it!
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time?
I hope I have a lot less pushing to do this time!! DS had broad shoulders so we ended up with a vacuum delivery after almost 3 hours of pushing. Hopefully this little boy won't give me a hard time
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO?
EDD is January 14th. I'll probably be induced around the 7th if this little boy looks like he's going to be as big as my last! I've stayed in much better shape this time around so fingers crossed! I think LO will be here between Christmas and New Year's!

Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby? Nursery is done, clothes are washed and mostly put away but I would like to further organize them as we just got a dresser for the room, installing car seat base today, packed mine and LOs hospital bags (will just have to throw some of DHs things in there). Still need to pull out the swing, RnP, and bouncer and get those cleaned up! Not sure how ready I am mentally lol
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time? I had a pretty good labor and delivery experience with DS, but I didn't get to hold him right away because there was meconium present in my water and he had to be suctioned immediately--he was then taken to the special care nursery and had fluid on a lung and had to have antibiotics to clear it up so he also wasn't in the room with me the whole stay. I had to walk to the nursery for every feeding (he still breastfed like a champ!) I hope this time everything goes smoothly and this LO is able to be in my room at arms reach!
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO? Due date is 1/11 and I have had this smallish feeling she will come early even though I went 9 days late with my first! Something that's been sticking in my mind is 1/1 (New Years babe!) because of a comment the nurse made to me early on. I'm probably totally wrong though, haha! I'll be happy if she waits until after Christmas, but before/by due date!
How far along are you? Y’all… I am a posting storm today. OMG I just cannot bring myself to care about work… Anyway, I am exactly 35 weeks today!
Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby? Yes and no, lol. Still need to pack the hospital bag, get basic supplies (tiny diapers etc), and get out the bassinet etc (we are doing that this weekend), but I am MOSTLY ready…
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time? This is a great question… I suppose I would like to push more effectively and not be starving. Obviously I would rather not have a 4th degree tear, but if this baby makes his way somehow out of my vagina and we are both healthy, it’s all fine with me! Honestly, I was in labor with DD for 37 hours, but I sort of liked that… since we were fine and I had that sweet sweet epi. I do hope I handle the pre epi contractions better this time. Those floored me before (I’m a baby with pain).
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO? YES! I love this question. MY EDD is January 3rd and I think I will give birth on December 28th… based only on when DD came and I suppose because December 28th would be perfect, lol. But I leaked with DD and didn’t fully rupture so who knows. I fully expect a late December baby, so expect me to be here on January 1 like WTF?

Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby? I have the bare essentials - car seat, some clothes, a place to sleep. I need to do everything else to prepare. YIKES.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time? Most things I would want to change deal with my ex, and he won't be there, so as long as SO doesn't act like the ex, I will be happy. Other than that, I would like to be able to bring this baby home and stay home not have to spend time in the hospital.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO? I am due 1/20. I don't think I am going to make it that far. But, I am probably setting myself up for disappointment. I just can't. Would wishing for a 12/31 birth make me a bad mom?
How far along are you?
35+4 today. Holy crap.
Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby?
Mentally? Not at all. I'm terrified of the newborn phase, haha...but I AM ready to meet him.
Physically? I'm almost ready. I just have to clean/install the infant car seat and get the co-sleeper set up. I'm having a "sprinkle" on Friday, so once that happens, I'll know what last minute stuff I have to get. I also have to pack my hospital bag. All of these things can be done in one weekend, so I'm not too stressed. Plus, my house is a freaking showplace right now with how clean it is, so I'm glad all of my "home projects" are checked off the list. Except cleaning out my fridge...but that's happening tonight!
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time?
The last one went pretty perfectly, so I'd be happy with a repeat.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO?
EDD is December 30th. DD came 10 days early, so I'll say the same thing for this little one. BUT, the Fall semester doesn't end until 12/22, and I'm hoping to make it that far to bank up my maternity leave. Honestly though, I'm with @PhillymommaX2...as long as I'm not in the hospital on Christmas, I'll be happy!

Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby? Fucck like everything. Baby's room is still full of boxes, no space for the crib & rocking chair. Kid will be lucky to have anything decorated before he's 3 at this rate. I just ordered some diapers on Monday.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time? I'm kind of torn between insisting on a VBAC or scheduling an RCS. Last time I labored for like 12 hours and then had a CS so I'd rather avoid repeating that, one way or the other.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO? EDD is 1/13. I think I'll go a few days over - maybe the 16th or so. I'll be surprised if I go early, but my birthday is the 7th so that would be kind of cool.

Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby?
mentally I am so ready, lol. But she is not ready so i want her to stay put.
I still need to figure out the 2 car seat arrangements, I want to so that this weekend. My bags are half packed for myself, DH and DD. Other than that I feel fairly ready, most of my stuff left on the Amazon registry is not essential right after birth.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time?
last time around I spent over 2 weeks in the hospital and was induced at 37 weeks. 37 weeks this time puts me on Christmas day, no no no hell no I don't want a Christmas baby. I also don't want to be hospitalized and away from DH and DD on Christmas.
I would love to go into labor on my own this time. My induction was a dream induction but since this is my last baby I want to experience labor how my body was meant to.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO?
EDD is 1/15 (BUT it's been changed 2 times) belly and LO are measuring a few days ahead of that.
I would like to have her on Dec 28th for practical purposes (37 + 3) but I feel like if I'm not induced I'll have her around Jan. 8th (39 + 1).
How far along are you? 33+5
Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby? Mentally, yes. I still need to get some diapers and empty out a drawer in DD's dresser, reinstall our car seat base (we needed the back seat this weekend for luggage) and pack my hospital bag.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time? Just about everything. I was induced early for BP last time and labored for 40 hours, pushed for 3 before she was born and it was not pleasant. I want my body to go into labor naturally, labor by myself for awhile and then get the epi. The skin-to-skin was the best part of the whole experience, and I can't wait to do that again.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO? EDD 1/12 (Friday), but DH and I have an over/under. He thinks over by about a week(jerk), I'm thinking I may sometime that week before Friday. We'll see.
How far along are you? 35 weeks
Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby? It’s coming along. DH and I had a team meeting this morning. Going to get the old gear cleaned up, car seat installed. Prep the car for labor. This weekend along with finishing decorating the house for Christmas. Otherwise need to wash baby clothes and organize the dresser-can’t do that until DSs new dresser gets here on Dec 15th. Err and pack hospital bags.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time? Quick and painless ha. Truly, I want unmedicated and to go into labor on my own.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO?
Intuition says just after Christmas. I will be highly surprised if she comes before then and deeply disappointed if she comes in January. EDD Jan 3rd.

Are you ready? What else do you have to do to prepare for this baby?
Mentally, no, I'm in panic mode. So, biggest priority now is doing my hypnobabies refresher to calm me down a little.
I have a few tasks to do like buy a new glider, set up the PnP and pack a hospital bag, but not worried about getting those done.
What do you want to be different about your birth experience this time?
Not much, first time was pretty smooth. Less tearing would be nice.
Just for fun: What is your EDD and what date do you think you will birth this LO?
Due date is 1/18/18, which I think would be an awesome b-day date. (And DS was born on his due date) Or 1/8 would be cool, too. Don't want to see him much earlier than that, as mil won't be here to watch DS.
