I love fake trees. So easy! But I get real garland and bring trimmings of my junipers indoors for table decor because it's not Christmas without that evergreen scent
I guess I’ll start! Didn’t really have a nice corner for it at our new apartment so it’s kind of in the middle of the room. At least we can see it from all angles.
Real!!! Though our kitten already toppled it once... Lol it's about 7.5 ft. tall. I just kept mostly non breakable ornaments on it this yr. No big deal. The joy of going to cut it down ourselves and the wonder smell makes up for any convenience of a fake tree.
finally got our real tree today! my son loved picking it out and cutting it down but now we get to fight with the touching of it... not putting a gate up FYI. i'm actually more worried he will touch the presents once they are out than the tree though.
@heelsidehero DS always leaves the tree alone...the presents not so much. Last year he unwrapped a bunch while I was in the shower. We got our tree today, too!
We always do a real tree. My husband surprised me this year by getting up early and going to get the tree and having it all set up for me when I woke up. All I had to do was decorate it! We have a small puppy so there are not ornaments on the bottom foot or so but I am still happy with how it turned out!
I was 100% real tree all the way and then I saw a report that there are like 35,000 bugs in your Christmas tree and the same day my daughter came home with lice and I said screw 30 plus years of personal Christmas tradition.
