Silly poll just for fun! Internal ultrasound; who inserts the wand? 97 votes
They hand it to me and I insert it; its easier because I know my body
They insert the wand; they just lube it up and stick it in there
Re: Silly poll just for fun! Internal ultrasound; who inserts the wand?
When I was pregnant with my twins, I had ultrasounds every two weeks, including a transvag most times to check cervix length. One time pretty far in to my pregnancy, the tech handed me the wand and told me I could do it myself and I literally lol'd in her face. She got a confused look on her face and I said, "You think I can reach down there???" She got a laugh out of it, too.

Every doctor's office is SO different! Even my best friend whose doctor shares a parking lot with mine is an entirely different process. It's like we compare apples and oranges.
