    I have a cold and I am crabby about it. I know I am being a big baby--but I can't help it.

    And a real one: At work there are three of us on a team, all at the same pay/experience/skill level. One of us just quit, and it will take about a year to replace her. I'm going on mat leave in February, so people were panicking that we'd go from three to one. They decided to move over someone from another 3-person team who is also at the same pay/experience/skill level, so my team would be 2 people while I'm gone, which is tough but manageable. But now they want me to "train" the leftover 2 people on the other team, because despite being at the same PAY level as the rest of us, they are no where near the same SKILL level as us. Nevermind that they got promoted to the same pay level despite their deficiencies. My first question when I meet with their boss will be "If I need to train them, how the hell did they get promoted to my level in the first place?" Plus no amount of training will get them up to speed; they've taken all the same classes I did, it just never sunk in. Should be an interesting 10 weeks until I leave...

    Total first world problem, but we bought and installed/set up our new carseat and crib already. I just saw they are both cheaper today thanks to cyber monday. C'est la vie I guess :-\

    I have pelvic pain that prevents me from working and my modifications can't be accommodated at work. I'm already sitting on my hands to not pull out my hair at the thought that I will be home until after maternity :(

    I can’t seem to get moving on this damn nursery. Instead I’ve been starting new projects in literally every other room of the house. I think I’m doing the opposite of nesting.

    @Chawk17 it’s on the app. When you click the more to get to “Community” there are 2 other options. Something on top of Community and now this new “Food Safety” that is below Community. It’s petty, but just mostly annoying for me.

    Can they price match if you take a screen shot? Most places do that now... hopefully there’s a time frame where from when you purchased it to now and they’ll give you the difference! Good luck!

    Yep. I’ve done nothing in the nursery, but I have completely re-done our den and randomly rearranged/organized other rooms. Now I’m working on the guest bedroom.

     Same. I have a half finished dinning room , started painting my bathroom,  and repairing drywall in my girls room,  oh and decided to lay a new floor in the living room...

    The room that will most likly be the nursery is still full of my office,  our granola business supplies,  egg cartons,  and other random things.  My mil and i even discussed moving the nursery area upstairs to an area that is already half cleaned (because i cleaned it last month). And we have decided to remodle or farm store. Not sure how any of these projects are going to get finished at this rate.

    +1 for being so over work. 18 work days till winter break. And then 13 after break and I’m out. And I won’t be missing anyone. The children have lost their mind and the lack of systems/structures in this school has yet to change. And we are basically supposed to pass everyone so wtf is the point.

    My BF is that we have water in our basement!! The water Is coming back up through our drains. So my day of off has been spent cleaning up the water and cleaning up the basement so the plumber and get to the problem! Not what I wanted to do today!

    YES. All of this. Our waste-of-time workshop day yesterday pushed me over the edge. I’m done.

    I'm starting to wonder if its baby brain or just being over my job but I cannot wait to be out of there. Writing up cheat sheets cuz I have 2 very junior people in my dept that i have 3 weeks to train up (one is going on a preapproved 3 week vacation after xmas) and i want to be ready in case I pop early! The Thanksgiving holiday wasnt nearly long enough.

    The nurse at my 30 week appt is my BF today. After weighing in she made a comment how I’ve only gained a lb in the last month. And the tone she used made me question her whether or not that only a pound was a bad thing. And she snips really aggressively ‘well to be considered healthy we recommend at least 2. So I’m going to have to bring this up the the doctor’


    so then then 20 minutes I’m sitting waiting for the doctor I’m feeling all worried that baby isn’t growing properly etc. then the doctor does my measurements and baby is measuring 30weeks exactly and doctor is like. As long as you’re healthy and baby is growing fine, I don’t see any reason to be concerned.

    Seriously can anyone just be happy that we are all healthy?  I feel like all we hear is comments on our weight.  Sorry she ruined your day @pandappanderson

    @pandappanderson - that nurse was being so insensitive! As long as both me and my LO are healthy, that is all I care about!

    My BF is me! I ordered a baby carrier at Target since they were having a big sale. Unfortunately, the saved address was my old apartment address, and that is where it was shipped! I called Target, and they are offering me a refund since they can't change the delivery address. They were going to re-order another one for me (to the right address this time!), but it's out of stock. Luckily, they gave me a reference number so that I'd pay the same amount if that baby carrier comes back in stock. I'm so bummed.

    Rude. As long as baby is growing and healthy thats the main thing.

    @pandappanderson That makes me mad for you! Inconsiderate nurse who should be more concerned about the baby's growth. As long as you're being healthy and baby's growing well, wtf. I hope the doc had better words for you!

    Thanks everyone! It really threw me off because her tone was so snippy. Made me feel like she didn’t think I was taking care of baby. I was super sedentary in my first few months of pregnancy and only recently have been able to get back into exercising and have been proud of keeping active. So too be judged for that hurt. I don’t weigh myself at home so It’s not like I’m actively trying to lose weight. I’m just trying to get strong. 

    So glad doctor was better about it!

    My new BF is all my fault.  I had conferences today so I wore a dress I have had pre- pregnancy its a stretchy dress. It is not a dress you wear leggings with.never had problems with this outfit before..well apparently my thighs now touch each other and now I have chafing and it is painful to walk across the classroom to greet parents.  I have been tucking my dress between my legs.  I guess I need to start wearing shorts with this outfit. :(
