@missylaneous419 - hang in there, mama! I did the same thing on Wednesday. I had to have a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel WITH a side of home fries. I was in a world of hurt all day. That is one craving I will not be indulging in again until well into second tri.
@stephcat421 this better not ruin my chances of enjoying a burger. I've been planning a sloppy burger day lol--maybe 2nd tri when the nausea will supposedly be gone?
Yesterday I tried a low acid diet and it made a huge difference in the heartburn (big surprise there,lol). So it looks like I will be continuing this plan for the foreseeable future. It will definitely help me keep excess weight gain in check too, so FTW I guess.
Argh I feel horrible today. Throwing up dinner and slight sore throat since yesterday. Just worn out...

Hi my name is Amy and I am officially a hypochondriac. Let me preface this by saying that pre-pregnant me was not like this. Something had to be dang near killing me for me to mention it, give it 2 thoughts; let alone, get it checked by a doctor. I think it's the pharmacist in me. Health care people are the worst patients. I had a heart issue going on, that I am ashamed to say how long I let go a few years ago, before finally going to doctor and getting diagnosed with SVT.

So tonight I'm at work and I start getting a dull nagging pain in my right upper quadrant. Like way up in there under the ribs. Id say scale of about 3/10 painwise, minor, annoying at best. This goes on for 2 hours. In those 2 hours, I ate, drank, moved around. Nothing made it better or worse. In those 2 hours, I also convinced myself that I most certainly must be showing signs of pre-eclampsia and omg I'm gonna be the first person, like ever, to get it in their first trimester. My "more rational" choice was that I probably needed emergency gall bladder surgery.
Gas you guys. It was friggin gas. I've just never felt it that high. GAS!
I was in so much pain last night I almost made DH take me to urgent care. I got diagnosed with a bladder infection thursday morning. I called instead and talked to the on call doctor who said it was bladder spasms and all the symptoms I was feeling light headed, sick, pain was due to that. I thought for sure I was having kidney failure and I would be dead in 5 minutes!!! My DH, poor guy, after was like do you feel better honey talking to the Dr? Now stay off the internet!! I'm just a sick emotional mess right now.
When I am pregnant though, clearly it’s not just heartburn/my GERD flaring up (because I’m pregnant! Duh!). I’m OBVIOUSLY dying of a heart attack. I even told DH “last time I was in the ER for this (years ago when I was officially diagnosed - not pregnant at the time) I asked the doctor how I would be able to tell the difference between a GERD flare up and a heart attack and he told me I wouldn’t be able to! So you don’t know! This could be a heart attack! When I die, just remember this conversation and me warning you....”
I’m week 7. Did anyone experience being super ill in passed successful pregnancies (Dd was every morning, Ds would have been all day if I didn’t take meds)
To having mild nausea in another pregnancy? I have only puked maybe twice? I’m trying to not psych myself out.. and hoping we get to snuggle this peanut. my pgal brain has me over analyzing.. I might pay for an ultrasound in the next week or so
I was sick from 3.5 w till I was in labor with DD. I'm 12w with this one and have had some nausea and have thrown up a few times but nothing like DD. Just had an appt and ultrasound and baby is doing well.
When is your next appt? They should be able to do an ultrasound then. I had my confirmation ultrasound at 8 w.
