@bkrahn I didn't feel any with DS. When I experienced them this time I freaked out thinking something was wrong. I've made a huge career change and major life changes since that pregnancy, so I'm assuming that has a lot to do with it. I'm just a few days behind you and haven't had any in about a week or so. Hugs to your mama heart!
DH: 29 years old. Me: 25 years old. DS: born 12/30/14 Baby #2 due 6/8/18
@bkrahn I'm 10+5 and haven't felt anything! I'm sure it'll come soon enough! Maybe the prior stretching you felt bought the growing baby some space for a couple more weeks!
HEADACHES! My goodness. They're not migraines but just really nasty, pounding headaches. It started yesterday afternoon and hasn't stopped through this morning. I've taken Tylenol per my doctor's recommendation but not sure what else I can do.
@MaraJeanily & @stephcat421 thanks for the reassurance, ladies! I don't remember ever feeling them with DD, but they had become so normal with this pregnancy that the loss of them freaked me out a little! I have my next OB appt next week and always seem to get extra anxious about everything the week leading up to it
@harveyabbey77 I've been dealing with headaches too starting this week. No bueno! Probably doesn't help that I stare at a computer screen 90% of the day...
I’m week 7. Did anyone experience being super ill in passed successful pregnancies (Dd was every morning, Ds would have been all day if I didn’t take meds)
To having mild nausea in another pregnancy? I have only puked maybe twice? I’m trying to not psych myself out.. and hoping we get to snuggle this peanut. my pgal brain has me over analyzing.. I might pay for an ultrasound in the next week or so
@izza2 when I was at the 8 week mark I was peeing so often only bc I was so thirsty and drinking so much water. (Now I’m peeing way more than is reasonable for how much water I’m drinking but alas I digress.)
@izza2 I'm really bad at remembering to stay hydrated.. but every time I DO drink something, I suddenly need ALL the fluids! Especially when it comes to ice water
@torileea I was sick all day every day with my first until from 7 weeks to about 15 weeks. This go around I’m having mild nausea in the mornings or around dinner time of my husband is cooking chicken or something smelly. I’ve gotten to see this babe twice, so I know I’ve got a healthy one in there! I’m trying my best to not let pgal brain ruin me feeling better!
I just caved and took an expired fiorecet for a killer migraine. I think it's only a few months expired and I forgot to ask my doctor to refill it at my initial appt. now I feel a little loopy but the pain has mostly subsided.
Having some heavy feelings in my uterus. Difficult to describe. Not really an ache or cramp, but it kind of reminds of a prickly sensation without truly being prickly. Hoping this is just normal stretching! When I do get the normal cramp sensations, I sometimes feel the sensation running through my inner thighs. I get this sometimes with regular menstrual cramps, so I don't find it too alarming. Other symptoms include congestion/runny nose!
@izza2 so dang thirsty, all the time! I'm sure mine can be partially attributed to the doxylamine I take for MS twice daily. Tends to dry you out. My water has to be ice cold and so lemony that it's borderline sour. I don't know why it tastes so good to me like that.
+1 on the headaches--everyday And the dreams, omg the weird dreams. Thankfully nothing scary. No sex dreams. Just weird, unrealistic stuff all.night.long. One night included cutting a lifesize skyscraper cake and trying not to get squished by the falling piece.
@amys614 I have been craving lemonade! I have to have cold water. But the past few days I have been dying for lemonade. I don't want the sugar bomb so I'll have to see if crystal light will satisfy the craving for now.
I feel awful. Like I hope I don't have the flu awful. Cold/hot, shaky, can't eat, had to pull over in the pouring rain to puke outside of my car door on the way to work at 6 am type of sick. I don't want to eat anything. I've nibbled crackers and I can sip water. But I can't wait to go home and get in bed. The only decision I want to make today is whether or not to watch Disney, serial killer documentaries, or harry potter once I am in bed.
@missylaneous419 I've been craving lemonade too! My husband found a bottle at Panera that is made with agave instead of white sugar - if you have one near you, it is delish!
@amys614 - I've been having really crazy dreams too but mine have all been scary, I listen to the my favorite murder podcast which I'm sure is contributing to the nightmares.
My dreams aren't scary usually, just weird AF. I've always had very vivid dreams, and they certainly haven't stopped with pregnancy. Like, oh, are we pirates now? Does one of the pirates have a smoking problem? Is there a lesbian on this boat who finds me attractive? Is DH not being a good enough pirate? Sure. Seems normal.
No longer nauseous but feeling bloated and super gassy. I’ve been drinking over 50 ozs of water a day and at night i feel like I’ve have nothing to drink all day. Anyone else feeling incredabily thirsty?
@srsbaby I’m not sure if 50 oz is your total fluids for the day but that might not be enough. I’m drinking probably close to over 100 oz a day. Your body might just be telling you it needs more fluids.

@harveyabbey77 and @cheerfuld8 - these headaches are out of control! My drive home tonight was dreadful because behind my eyes hurt and all of the bright headlights weren’t helping at all!
So. Much. Heartburn. Even the Zantac extra strength is no match for this burn, but it has definitely taken the worst of the edge off. I just have a constant yuck mouth going on, like something is sitting on the back of my tongue. Ick! Only chewing orbitz gum seems to give me any extended relieve, but that eventually gives me a headache from all the chewing. And the awful is so much worse once I actually stop chewing the gum. Sigh.
I’m way more nauseous this time than I was last time. Definitely more vomiting. I can pretty much guarantee each night that at least some of dinner is going to come back up. Yesterday was particularly bad, I was so nauseous all day and could barely find anything I wanted to eat. I wasn’t going to even fool with dinner but DH wanted me to try. I did. I thought I was going to get away with skipping the after dinner barf but as soon as I brushed my teeth (of course, right?) I was giving my daily offering. At least I hadn’t taken my thyroid meds yet.
Oscillating between being starving and nausea but been able to hold things down. Cravings: wasabi almonds, Amy’s Mac and cheese (frozen), ceaser salad hummus, gyros but then most of the time the idea of red meat turns my stomach.
Felt overly confident this morning. I was wide awake at 4 am. I had the worst craving for a sausage and egg biscuit from McDonalds. I haven't had meat in so long but the cravings since becoming pregnant have been insane. I haven't had McDonalds in forever so I was surprised the craving was that strong. Bought one, got to work at 6:30, unwrapped it, took a bite.......game over. Now I am dizzy, sweaty, and feel like death and I can smell the grease and processed meat. Grease and meat used to do it for me. I don't know if it is pregnancy aversion, my body not eating this for so long (not like I don't eat unhealthy food--it just doesn't have meat in it), or a false sense of security in thinking the MS was gone. Maybe all 3? Going to be the longest workday ever.
@missylaneous419 oh you poor thing! TGIF? I'm not sure what you do, but hopefully things are light today with the deer hunter leaving town in droves! Hang in there girl!
