Ahh it’s me!! Just had my appt this morning! (Ultrasound posted in US thread) and got to see and hear the heartbeat! So excited for all you ladies who have appts this week! Feels so good to know everything is happening as it should!

My typical Thursday appointment this week but as an added bonus NIPT. What is the typical appointment schedule (which weeks)? I've been having appointments basically every week since my BFP so I have no clue, but since my bleeding stopped about 2 weeks ago, and I start weaning off my progesterone this week, after the NIPT when should I expect to have to schedule future appointments?

@ffw0617 I think everyone will be different. a typical, no issues, pregnancy is an OB apt every 4 weeks for awhile. with the first tri screening thrown in if the person chooses. I had a lot going on at first also with repeat scans and apts. now that I'm getting close to 2nd tri, its calmed down. I'm not doing 1st tri screening cause I did maternit21, so I don't have anything till my next OB appt.. which will end up being 4 wks after the last.

I have my bloodwork tomorrow and discussions about family history and everything. They said it would be an hour long appointment, but I’m not sure what all I will do. I have only had a 5 minute confirming the pregnancy appointment and a 5 minute ultrasound so it will be nice to finally get to ask some questions and talk.

Had genetic screen done for Downs, etc. this morning and also a 1 hour glucose test right away this morning!

We had an interesting first appointment Friday afternoon! We went in for our first ultrasound and the tech immediately said “how far along do you think you are?! Your cervix....” and we immediately thought the worst. She quickly said “ this baby is huge! I think you’re closer to 11 1/2 weeks!” Que shock and laughter.

Back story - was still breast-feeding (now 12 month old DD), so when I had some light spotting on September 12, assumed it was my period coming back for the first time. Took a test in mid- October and got a bfp, and assumed I was about 4 weeks along. In reality, the bleeding in September must’ve been implantation spotting, because conception was actually 10-11 days earlier around Sept 1-2.

So, I’m now due May 26! Lol so crazy. Good news is that I’m now 12 weeks, 2 days instead of the 8 weeks,5 days originally thought. Hello second trimester!

I still plan to hang out here with you ladies since I’m due so close to the end of May and have already started to get to know you all!

I’m switching DS and I to a new PCP, and our first appointment with her is tomorrow afternoon. I should be having my next normal (10w) appointment with my old doc today, but I canceled that because I never want to deal with her again. So tomorrow this “new patient appointment” will hopefully count as my next appointment for the pregnancy too (two birds, one stone, happy insurance)

@marcus7676 oh I'm still waiting, I just had it drawn on Thursday. I was told 2 weeks. but they also said 'it could be less. they just like to say 2 weeks at most'

Check up appt on wednesday. Had my first US 2 weeks ago, did my bloodwork last week. For those who are PGAL, what do these inbetween appointments entail? I know it's more for my benefit to make sure everything is moving along fine...Is it similar to the monthly appointments?

@marcus7676 I think this wait is going to be the hardest part of this pregnancy for us lol. I'm dying over here already. I really wanted results by thanksgiving (saw you said the same in the other post) but that might be by the skin of my teeth.

@catlady1215 I hope you get your results soon! I'm spending thanksgiving with my grandmother, so I really wanted to be able to tell her in person (I probably won't see her until January / February after this). But I'm superstitious and really want the results before I start sharing.

@marcus7676 thanks! hope yours are quick also! kinda similar, we haven't told DH's gram yet and wanted to tell her on thanksgiving.. after good results. we won't see her again till Christmas. i'm sure we still will, but i'd just feel so much better after those come back. annnnnd I'm feeling scared to tell DS before we get those results.. which I want to do so so bad!

First appointment went great!! Baby was measuring 8w5d, so just two days ahead of what we were expecting. I'll post the ultrasound pic in the proper thread. So happy we got good news! Next appointment is to make sure baby is growing properly and is in two weeks. ❤ We brought DD and she got a little antsy toward the end but my doctor was totally cool about it. Love her.

My first appointment is tomorrow at 2pm. I think FH is even more excited than me to see the baby for the first time, though I'm trying to temper his excitement since what we'll probably see is just a little blob as I'm only 7 weeks

First ultrasound went well praise the Lord!
baby is measuring 7 weeks 2 days putting me at June 30th, guess I’ll be the impatient one giving birth last

I was a bit disappointed it wasn’t twins, but I know when baby is born I’ll be glad there aren’t two!

i spotted Saturday evening and again right after my ultrasound, so I was comforted that baby looked good. Praying baby continues to grow well!

@fantasticmrsfox - my appointment isn't until the 20th, and I am pretty sure I ovulated late. I could potentially be right there with you. I'll keep you company.

I got my BFP on the 19th of Oct and this month long wait has been killing me!!!!! I'll probably be the last one to post my US pic. July is already posting their's and I'm still waiting... Whatev.... I'm just hoping Little Bear is ok down there.

Wasn’t planning for another appointment until next week, but due to 2 episodes of bleeding they are having me in tomorrow morning for an ultrasound. I do have a known small SCH. FX it hasn’t gotten larger since last checked 3 weeks ago. Good news is with being 11+2 tomorrow it will be an abdominal scan instead of TV!
