Re: TWW Friyay 11/10

  • Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 29/5

    Typical LP Length: ??

    Timing: pretty happy with it

    Testing: Nope. Next Thursday

R/R: I had the craziest dream last night. **tw and in spoiler for general babies mentioned**

I dreamt I was out visiting a friend and there was a baby there. As soon as I looked at it the front of my shirt got soaked like I lactate, but when I looked down and felt it with my hand it was completely dry.

    Just straight up weird.

Rave - Friday! Rant - just realize my flight leaves at 6am tomorrow which means I need to be out of my house at 4:30 am!! Won't even bother temping because that's just too early.

CS/Q: FF tried to move my O date to one day later no matter what I did. I disagreed with the new analysis because I distinctly felt the O pain on the original day. I did an Override.

GTKY: What could you give a 40 min presentation on with zero preparation?

seriously anything audit related. If you wanted to know how to properly conduct an audit on revenue, cash or anything else in a financial statement I could wing it.

    CD/DPO: 24/7

    Typical LP Length: 13-14

    Timing:  pretty good

    Testing: no plans

R/R:  (Rave):  Went on a nice, cool morning run and now enjoying a hot cup of coffee.
(Rant):  My usual PMS symptoms are here (cramping/bloating/gassy).  So I may not post too much the next week or so.  I'll try to come and love tit, but sometimes it is hard to stay in the TWW when I'm really WFAF.  :/:| )
@offtoneverland Thanks for your encouragement in yesterday's post.  I'm not sure.  Some of the PMS symptoms could be from hormones (progesterone etc), but I wonder if the egg never fertilizes, maybe the lining and everything starts to break down earlier, hence the early symptoms.  I'm just so bummed that I never get to hope and test--I always know I'm out way before I have a chance! :/

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What could you give a 40 min presentation on with zero preparation?
Women's reproductive health lol. I feel like I've read so much about TTC/charting/etc that I could easily give a presentation on it now. :)
  • *lurking from WTO*

@nimmle That is a super weird dream.

@dukestar5 *hugs* I'm sorry to hear you're already feeling out. I can understand that disappointment. Be kind to yourself this week.

@dukestar5 I am sure you have read this same stuff but I was trying to read about the ridiculous dip in my temp to see if I COULD in fact implant at 5 or 6 DPO and I got this lovely chart of the egg journey from fertilization to implantation. I suppose the body COULD know  in advance but that chart seemed to imply that the body wouldn't necessarily expect an egg until 7-10 dpo, so really your lining might not know nothing happened until then?

@nimmle they wanted to move it to the day before your positive OPK? That seems odd I wonder why? What setting are you on, out of curiousity?

    Month/Cycle: 6/5

    CD/DPO: 5/23

Typical LP Length: 10----WHOA , I'm halfway there, WHOA-OH! Livin' on a prayer! LOL

    Timing: pretty awesome.

Testing: probably Monday or Tuesday if I'm honest with myself.

R/R: Rave: It snowed for a bit today! Rant: But it rained hardcore and was super windy before that so, I bet its slick out and I am NOT looking forward to taking the dogs on their morning walk. They'll be incorrigible if I don't though so. OOO Other rave making slow cooker asian ribs tonight. We've been getting better at leftovers this is the first legit meal I've made in two days I'm kind of excited.

CS/Q: Whats with the dip, BBT?
GTKY: What could you give a 40 min presentation on with zero preparation?

How to teach most 3-5th grade math lessons concretely, pictorally, and abstractly, in progression.

Also how to make chevre/ yogurt from goats milk, lol.

    ETA: spoiler.

  • @nimmle. Interesting dream! FX it means good things to come!  <3
    @SkilledSailor. Thanks friend!
@Augusta108. FX for you!! Also, Christmas craft show sounds fun! Let us know what you find.
  • @dukestar5 I'm sorry you feel like AF is coming. Do what you need to do to protect your heart. I know it has to be tough.

@Augusta108 The christmas craft show sounds like alot of fun! Def sounds like a good distraction as you wait to test tomorrow. I have my FX for you! Bring on the book recommendations!

@SmashJam They wanted to move it to the day after, but based on my temps, symptoms, cm and the coverline it doesn't really make sense to me. I also suspect that if I had done an OPK in the evening the day before (I only did it late morning) it would have been positive, but I had been out so never got around to it. This is based on the fact that the day I did get the positive OPK it was a blaring positive on my FMU for the CBAD (about 5am) and for the internet cheapies on the SMU (about 7am). BTW, I would also take your yogurt and cheese making class :)
  • @SmashJam Thanks for the insight! Sorry I missed your post.  :). That gives me more hope then...I have not been able to find much research on it (and I suppose it is difficult to research unless there was daily monitoring & ultrasounds on patients).  I got my progesterone blood work done yesterday so I’m anxious to see whether it might be on the lower end and causing some symptoms or whether it’s a separate issue.
Your meal sounds delicious! GL on the walk in the snow/rain today.

    Timing: I think really good

    Testing: Nope

R/R: Rant: It's really windy and 30 degrees. Dusting fo snow on house roofs too. Brrrr Rave: It's Friday and I get my husband back today. He's been away for a couple of days for work.  I work a half day so he should be home when I get home!

    CS/Q: None

GTKY: Microsoft Excel and other tech classes. I teach computer classes several times a week so jumping up to present something doesn't much phase me.
  • @nimmly sorry about the early flight. Are you going anywhere fun?
@dukestar5 Sorry to hear about the PMS symptoms. Are your cramps like period cramps or localized in one area?
@Augusta108 Oooh, I also love historical fiction. Library nerds we are!
@SmashJam The ribs recipe sounds yummy! Can you share the recipe link?
@stargazerlily407 Sorry about the crazy chart. Do you usually have long cycles?
  • @dukestar5 nooooo, so sorry for the pms symptoms :( Hang in there!
@nimmle I think I must have missed it - where are you headed??
@Augusta108 ooh I love Christmas craft fairs! They are always so fun - I also love when they serve mulled wine yumm.  Fx that the lack of spotting is a good sign - will keep you in my thoughts tomorrow morning!!!
@smashjam the dip might be from an estrogen surge? Or just random temp nonsense lol.
@jaylii yay that YH is home! Do you have any weekend plans together??

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 30/10

    Typical LP Length: 12-15

    Timing: -4,-3,-1,+1

Testing: I am so proud of myself for reaching double digits without testing.

R/R: It snowed again last night and it took me 15 minutes to dig out my car from all the snow and ice... We purchased a garage with our house but they didn't finish it before possession and it's still not finished...I'm super mad about that. Rave: It's Friday and a 3-day weekend!!! Must get through next 8 hours and then will be freeeeee!

CS/Q: Welp - made it past 9DPO without spotting which is more than I can say about last cycle, hurrah!

GTKY: What could you give a 40 min presentation on with zero preparation?
The social determinants of health, specifically for Indigenous peoples of Canada

  • @canucklehead123 Yes, busy weekend actually! Going to a friend of MH's wedding on Saturday and then going to the grand reopening party of one of the branches in the library system where I work. The branch has been closed for a year and the remodel is beautiful.
  • @jaylii and @canucklehead123 I'm headed down to KY to help clear out my Dad's house. So not really fun but I get to avoid work for 3 days next week. Also will be able to avoid day dreaming about POAS. By the time I get back I will be 11DPO so I can safely start some early tests by then. I will not be packing any tests.
  • @nimmle oh so sorry to hear that, take care of yourself <3  Love your silver lining attitude re. POAS lol
    BabyFruit Ticker
  • @canucklehead123 nice job with the self control!! Also I hear you about the garage. We can't use ours because its full of junk/a friends old car. Its not attached to the house anyway, so while We would get to keep from digging our cars out, I would still have to dig across the driveway and slog through snow, which would be a big pain depending on how much snow we have.
  • @SmashJam ooh that's frustrating, especially the friend's car! I would be like "come get your car, or its to the junk yard" - lol... is that why I don't have any friends? LOL jk.  The builders told us "it'll be finished before mid-November, before the first snow fall probably"... well they've almost officially been wrong on both of those things now....and for the snowfall, they've been wrong several times.  I think that's why the construction has been delayed actually (it is a detached garage as well but only a short distance between garage and house thankfully).

  • Month/Cycle: 6 or so

    CD/DPO: 23/11

Typical LP Length: 10-12 but sometimes more!

    Timing: I think good.

Testing: BFN every 12 minutes or so. LOL!

R/R: Friday!!! I'm kind of sick but its FRIDAY! Feeling good, more positive mood today. I think because I have been listening to my body and choosing not to cope with extra food and more wine than I need. Instead I have really been eating healthy and abstaining and sleeping really well. Go me!

    CS/Q: Its not pretty

GTKY: What could you give a 40 min presentation on with zero preparation?
Probably issues related to serving the trans population in therapy.
  • Month/Cycle: 5/3

    CD/DPO: 33/5

    Typical LP Length: 13 days

    Timing: -4, -2, O

Testing:  Starting on Monday because I'm nuts.

R/R:  I went shopping for Christmas decor today and it has really gotten me into the holiday spirit!  It never hits me this early since I usually dread trying to come up with Christmas gifts for everyone and all of the things that come with such a busy time of year.  I think I'm better prepared this year so that helps.

    CS/Q:  None

GTKY: What could you give a 40 min presentation on with zero preparation?  Hmm, that's tough.  40 mins is a long time!  It also gives me anxiety just thinking about giving a presentation.  Probably something related to infertility/treatments for PCOS, or pregnancy complications like GD and pre-e since I've experienced both.  I feel pretty knowledgeable about those kinds of things and I'm passionate about all things pregnancy/baby/postpartum.  That's why I'm thinking of becoming a postpartum doula in the near future.

  • @nimmle yikes that's an early morning!  Anytime I've booked a 6am(ish) flight I always forget that means I need to wake up at like 3am to get ready and get to the airport.
@dukestar5 I'm sorry you feel like you're out already.  Here's to hoping you're not!
@Augusta108 fingers crossed for you!  It sounds promising!
@SmashJam I'm 5dpo today also and planning to test Monday lol.
@jaylii yay for your hubby coming home!
@canucklehead123 I'm impressed you haven't tested yet!  Crossing my fingers for you!
@mygoodlucycat good for you!  I've been trying to eat healthier and cut the crap out of my diet and I've felt so much better these past few months!  It really helps to stick with it when you notice a difference in your body/mood!

  • @nimmle girl- what did you eat before bed?!  ;)
@dukestar5 ((Hugs)). Sorry about AF symptoms.  So so very many people are uneducated about women’s health. Go forth & spread the knowledge!
@augusta108 I would come to your book talks!  Do you buy the crafts or take pictured & make them yourself??
@smashjam Elementary math is no joke!  I respect you for that.
@jaylii that library reopening sounds great!!  What all did they change?
@Sarafuss Passion about topics helps. I’ve been so mesmerized learning what a doula does!
@mygoodlucycat Good job on pushing back against the discomfort & not utilizing unhelpful coping skills. ❤️
@canucklehead123 Oh, I’d be livid about the garage. You moved from California you Colorado, right?  And you forbjo spotting!
@nimmle. Also, Hugs, friend. Take care of yourself while going through your Dad’s things

R/R:  yay for the iPhone bug fix. Friday!  I have a CME teleconference over lunch so someone brought me food and someone else brought me coffe. My coworkers rock (today.  Lol).
Cs/Q:  No question. However, yesterday&today I have had mass amounts of creamy CM. So not typical for me.
GTKY:  Besides my kitten, communication disorders, early intervention therapies, opioid therapies, self-care, chronic illnesses.  I used to do trainings and public speaking freaks me out somewhat, but I can typically pull something together in the spot when needed. Love this GTKY!
  • @jaylii. It’s more like period cramps—not localized unfortunately. :(. And yay for your hubby being home! Any fun weekend plans?
@canucklehead123. Wow! Lots of snow.  P.S.  Love your GTKY answer!  I have an MPH too. ;). I remember reading about your degree in another post.
@mygoodlucycat. Enjoy your Friday! And good work with healthy eating.
@Sarafuss. So cool! I’ve thought that would be a neat role...or maybe a lactation consultant.
@jrm_14. Love you, friend.  Yay for free coffee & lunch today!

AFM, ob/gyn sent me my progesterone blood work results from yesterday (technically 6dpo because I couldn’t go in today).  It was 17.4, which she said was in the normal range.  I’ve read that progesterone spikes in the body every 60-90 minutes, so it’s hard to know whether the result is at the peak or the trough, but in any event, it seems to be agreed in medical field that over 10 indicates ovulation in a non-medicated.  I was certain I️ usually ovulated—not worried about that—but was wondering if all my Pms symptoms were from low progesterone.  I suppose not. Back to the drawing board!
  • @jrm_14 Clearly that shrimp and broccoli got to me ;). Although starting earlier this afternoon my bbs were getting sore and now they are miserably sore. I dunno if I want to keep my bra on tighter or take it off.

  • @dukestar5 so glad to hear your progesterone is in the normal range - hope you find some answers soon. What area of public health do you work in??
@jrm_14 I live in Canada lol - that must have been somebody else!

@dukestar5 I'm so sorry you're feeling out already. It's terrible that you hardly even get time to be hopeful. I'm glad your progesterone results came back with good results, but I'm also sorry that it didn't give you the answer you needed.
@nimmle I hope things go as well as they can this weekend and that you have safe travels. I'll be thinking of you.  <3
@Augusta108 I've got my FX for you testing tomorrow! It's so hard not to get your hopes each TWW. I hope you had a great time at the Christmas craft show! That sounds amazing. I need to look to see if there are any fun craft shows near me.
@SmashJam Yum! I hope your ribs turned out well!
@jaylii Hope you have a great time with YH now that he's back home!
@mygoodlucycat Your 40-minute presentation on issues relating to the trans population in therapy sounds so interesting! I would love to hear that talk! :)
@canucklehead123 Yay! I'm so proud of you for not testing yet! You go girl!
@jrm_14 Seriously, where do you work? You have the NICEST coworkers ever. They bring you food and goody bags and all sorts of neat things! That's so sweet. I'm glad that they were nice to you today, at least. ;)

  • @jrm_14 The library remodel was a major one. The building was a small library built in the 50s so it was completely gutted and an addition was put on the back. It’s so gorgeous now. I’m attaching a picture from the new children’s room. Isn’t that compass awesome?! Even cooler is that it was designed and created by local art students.
  • @jaylii that looks amazing! I would literally lay on the floor and look up at that
  • @jaylii I'm drooling over your library! That's amazing! And so neat that it was done by local art students. Love it!
