  @Tennis11785 I'm with you. I'm totally against fake trees but have really been pushing for one this year. My husband is terrible about watering the tree so I always do it and I'm scared that it will completely die and dry up while I'm in the hospital and start our house on fire. Dramatic I know but it's a real (irrational ) fear of mine lol.  But DH refuses to put up a fake tree so idk when we are going to get a tree

  Fun fact: if you put sprite/7-up/sierra mist in your tree water (about 50/50), it helps the tree hold onto the needles!! 
  
  @abcola at least in TX you have seasons! Lol. Here in SoCal, I have to drive 3+ hours away to the local mountains to get that feeling!!

  @Marley629 Not irrational! According to the National Fire people, dried up christmas tree fires caused 16 million dollars in damages.
