Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t believe it’s finally November!
Ok just had to get that outta my system

How are you ladies feeling? Nervous, excited, anxious, scared, indifferent? Up until today I was feeling pretty unprepared even though we have everything we need, mostly because I’m not sure how my 17 month old is going to take this new addition, but now I’m feeling at peace with it. Yesterday I officially scheduled my induction for the 13th, less than 2 weeks away! I have faith that once the new guy is here everyone will settle into their new roles gracefully. Here’s to hoping anyway

Any last minute advice or preparation ideas I would love to hear too! Happy November Mamas!

My biggest focus right now is trying to see if I can get a re-test on group b strep (tested positive last week) and reverse to a negative by taking probiotics, eating lots of yogurt and taking apple cider vinegar baths. I really wanted to avoid the antibiotics if possible and quite a few midwives swear by this regime to get rid of group b strep. If it doesn't work, I will just use the antibiotics, but crossing my fingers I don't have to!

My FIL is here until tomorrow. Once he leaves we will install the car seat and that will be a big step. We need to set up the bassinet in the next couple days as well. And I need to wash and hang/his clothes. And get anything I still need off the registry (mostly bath and diaper stuff). THEN I will pack my hospital bag and be as ready as I can be at this point.
DH needs to put the house back together since we just had our living room wallpapered and FIL will soon clear out of our upstairs guest bedroom.
I wanted to have our 3-row car bought by the time baby gets here, but I don't think that's happening at this point.
Overall, feeling only semi-ready.
@dragonfly87-2 I've heard really good things about those methods for preventing or getting rid of strep B, too. (I did the probiotics and yogurt for a couple weeks before my test.) However, I asked my midwife last week if I could get retested if I tested positive, and she said that my practice still treats you with the antibiotics during labor if you've tested positive at ANY time during your pregnancy! I hope your practice doesn't have that protocol in case you're able to eliminate it -- fingers crossed for you. I got really lucky and found out yesterday that I'm negative.
Our twins are 19 days old now, but corrected gestation age is 37w2days. I was due November 20, so 3 more weeks to go until my due date, but here they are, almost 3 weeks old already. One twin was discharged from the NICU on saturday but our other twin remains in the NICU for another week or two.

I still have 3 weeks 3 days to go. I’m anxious to get her out of me because I am beyond uncomfortable and hurting but I’m also grateful for every day she stays put to keep her safe and growing. I’m getting a NST every day now and that is getting annoying but it’s precautionary and only for a few more weeks. We still have to put the finishing touches up in her nursery which we will do this weekend. I’m a little worried about what we are going to do with our 2 yr old when I go into labor. We have no one down here to watch him. He will just have to come with us.
i stop school this Friday and go on leave to just wait for baby! I'm so ready. So so ready!
Seeing the birth announcements from the other mommas makes it all that much more exciting!
it still doesn't feel real! I'm due with my second on 11/26 so we still have 3.5 weeks, I don't really feel prepared but big sister is starting to understand more that a baby is coming. We're team green so excited to find out what s/he is but still don’t have a name picked out. I guess we’ll know when we meet

While I no longer look visibly swollen, I either must be or the additional weight gain is causing problems. I haven't fit in normal shoes for the past 3 months. So I have been wearing crocs (a somewhat fashionable version) every day to work and around town. I also haven't been able to wear my wedding ring for months and it used to spin somewhat loosely on my finger. I hope I go back to normal size and fitting into shoes and my ring post-partum.
