So I hope this OK, since it's a day early, but work is boring, and the last few have been late.

And I totally stole these questions from another ticker change.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
2) How are you feeling?
3) Any appointments this week/last?
4) How are baby preparations going?
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
Re: Saturday Ticker Change 11/4
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
32 weeks, annnd looking ahead TB tells me baby's a squash.
2) How are you feeling?
Lazy. Some days really hungry. Eating all the sweets. Waking up a minimum of three times a night, but most times I'm able to just re-position and go back to sleep.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
I have one a week from today.
4) How are baby preparations going?
Pretty well! I've been pleasantly surprised with how much people have actually bought for us from our registry, and how much of it has been shipped to our house. Our second (and final--aside from if either of us have small work showers at some point) shower is tomorrow, so once that's over I'm ready to buy what's left and do laundry and all that.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Really can't think of anything.
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
I usually decorate for Christmas after Thanksgiving. Christmas music/movies just depends on my mindset. That's normally also after Thanksgiving, but I think last year I was all over that starting in early November. This year I'll probably decorate earlier just because my fall decor has been up for two months already and I have literally one Thanksgiving-specific decoration. And we don't host. And I feel like it'll be easier to get the decorating out of the way before I get even bigger.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 33 weeks, size of a ferret or a pineapple.
2) How are you feeling? I'm starting to get pretty sore, and sleepy, I think I'm getting a cold.
3) Any appointments this week/last? Monday I have a growth U/S to check my amniotic fluid.
4) How are baby preparations going? For the most part we're ready for this guy! We need clothes though, shamelessly waiting on SIL to donate her baby boy get up before we buy a lot of clothes for him.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm still peeved about the 130 c-section time, but there's only 39 days to go!!!
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop? I need to start shopping, I need DH to get on board and see what we're getting his family. DH is going hunting this year from 11/14 - 11/20, I hope we'll get a tree up 11/21 or 22. I'll prob put up Xmas decor when he's gone. I may have started listening to holiday music when DD is in the car.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
34 weeks with di/di b/g twins that are the size of butternut squash.
2) How are you feeling?
Ugh! I'm ready to hold my babies rather than grow them LOL. My nausea has picked back up although I've never stopped taking Diclegis
3) Any appointments this week/last?
I had an ultrasound and doc appointment with the high risk doctor today. The babies are still stable and growing. Baby girl is 3 lbs 4 oz and baby boy is 4 lbs 8 oz (almost 8 lbs of babies in there). Baby girl has grown quite a bit, but Shawn's growth has kind of slowed down a bit. He's OK though. The babies are still in a T formation with baby girl breech in the up and down position and baby boy is transverse at the top. Since they've been that way for a while, it's not likely they'll get into position for delivery so they scheduled my C-section for Nov 21st. I've only gained barely a pound in the past 2.5 weeks. They aren't worried though since the babies are growing. I just have mommy guilt because I know I'm not eating enough due to the nausea.
4) How are baby preparations going?
Ha! Still haven't worked on the nursery, but I'm not worried since the babies will be in our room for a while. I need to wash baby clothes though and get any items we need that didn't get purchased from our registry.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant: See above. Getting to that miserable phase.
Rave: I'm so excited that we're going to meet our babies soon!
No questions.
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
I'm fine with people doing it whenever they want to. It doesn't effect me. Personally, I'm not sure when we'll do our decorating. Probably after the babies are born around the 1st or 2nd week of Dec. I listen to my favorite songs anytime of the year if I feel like hearing it, but typically Nov - Jan. I have a feeling that shopping will be online or gift cards this year.
@clovelyone I’m sorry you’re dealing with nasty symptoms.

@Kirss I see the countdown has begun for you too. Yay! We're almost finished, ladies!
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
35 weeks; a bunch of carrots (edited to correct from 34 to 35 weeks!)
2) How are you feeling?
uncomfortable but okay. Just had the worst night of sleep yet. Ugh.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
we have our childbirth class next Saturday & then our first weekly ultrasound (to check amniotic fluid and baby's stress).
4) How are baby preparations going?
pretty well. I feel a little behind on the childbirth learning, but the nursery is coming along (and won't be used right away anyway.)
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
next month!! Aieeeee!!! (I think that's a rave? With some stress thrown in?)
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, so Halloween decor gives way to Thanksgiving decor (which is acorn and turkey and fall-based, no offensive (to me) stereotyped depictions of pilgrims and native peoples). After thanksgiving, we go to winter decor, which is mostly NOT christmassy because neither DH or I identify as christians. He really like to have a tree, so we do, but mostly the decor is snowmen & snowflakes & wintry white lights. After New Years, I add in hearts and things for Valentines etc. I don't like Christmas music, so that's never on. We only buy around 15 gifts, so usually a single trip to TJMaxx + Amazon does it.
i really don't care how/when other people decorate their homes, though I wish stores would offer more fall/thanksgiving decor and please lay off the music!!
shower! It’s go time after that!
@Kirss Haha my husband tried to put on holiday music the other day and I freaked and screamed “ITS NOT TIME YET!!!” I get very anal about it, apparently.
@clovelyone Dude, twin Mom power. This shit is HARD. You’ve basically dexaribed how I’m feeling, minus the severe nausea. Mines only mild, occasional nausea. Sorry girl. Hang in there. Holy crap! Nov 21st! How exciting!
@Amber_Waves Your decor sounds like ours. We’re not Christian at all, but love Christmas. Snowflakes, twinkly lights, and trees are where it’s at!
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
32 weeks! Babies are the size of a squash
2) How are you feeling?
Ugh, I’m ready for this to to be over. Like, stay in until 37 weeks, but I could totally fast forward through the next 5 weeks and be totally ok with that. Carpal tunnel has caused my right hand to go numb, I pee constantly, I can barely get out of bed, sleeping is a thing of the past. You know, just basic pregnancy stuff.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
I have Appts all the time now. I’ve got one Monday or my first NST, then Tuesday I have our growth scan ultrasound. I’m at Kaiser once a week at least at this point.
4) How are baby preparations going?
I’ve got some baby laundry happening. Their room is almost done. Our contractors are building a new closet door for them, because the previous owners just used a curtain for some apparent reason. That should be done next week. I’m also completing our registries this weekend, and I’m making a playroom for them downstairs for all toys, rock n plays, activity gyms, etc, and book stuff. Their room can only fit the cribs, a giant dresser, and my glider. No toy boxes or bookshelves. Basically, I’m about 57% done. I’m getting stressed about organizing and about how much of each thing I need.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Babies are coming so soon! That’s a rant and a rave lol. It’s crazy that we’ve come this far. I feel like it went by SOFAST. I have a shit ton of things to do, but it’s hard because I get tired soooooooo easily. I’m trying to just complete one thing a day. Usually someone who’s going going going, so it’s really hard to come to terms with the fact that I just can’t do things right now lol. Oh well, pass me the snacks and let me watch HGTV. I’ll never be able to loaf this much again.
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
We start either the night of Thanksgiving or the day after. We are planning to have Christmas just explode all over our house this year. Lights, decor, stockings, and music EVERYWHERE. OMFG I can’t wait.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
33 weeks! Baby boy is the size of a bundle of celery!
2) How are you feeling?
I'm feeling okay but very tired. I get up at least 3-5 times a night to go to the bathroom then can never fall back to sleep.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
No appointments in the last week but I have one on Monday
4) How are baby preparations going?
I didn't have a shower (this is my second) and no ones really given us much but I'm almost done shopping anyways. The only thing I need is a mattress because DD uses our crib mattress in her toddler bed.
Our nursery isn't even started and it's stressing me out! We moved into this house about 3 months ago and have been fixing up everything else so the nursery hasn't been touched.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I don't really have anything besides continuing my rant that DH won't start on the nursery
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
I probably won't decorate until the end of this month, probably right after Thanksgiving maybe a few days later because we are going to Disney on Ice. I am probably 2/3 of the way done shopping already because I started early this year to make sure I will have enough time to wrap. Wrapping takes forever with a curious toddler! I also wanted to start early so I know I can have it all ready for DD to enjoy just in case this baby comes early.
33 weeks! He's the size of a ferret
2) How are you feeling?
Still feeling good. If the belly wasn't in the way there wouldn't be any issue! I am starting to get more tired and have been having some heartburn though.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
I had a growth scan last week to check baby's size. He's measuring 2 weeks ahead. 85th percentile. So he's big but not huge. They won't worry/do anything unless I go past my due date.
4) How are baby preparations going?
I got a lot of needed things/registry items at my first shower, so that was good. I still have 2 more showers (the perks of both sets of grandparents being divorced, I guess). I'm a little worried that they are too late (one is at 35 weeks, and one is my work one so it's actually a surprise even though I know it's coming). Right now I'm feeling overwhelmed with putting away and organizing all the stuff we got at the shower. His room literally is just piles of stuff.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
With moving and everything I just feel like I can't get organized and it's driving me nuts. Moved in the end of August but there's still so much to do and now adding all the baby stuff is just making it hard! Plus I'm tired! I'm lucky DH is so great but I feel guilty sometimes when my energy is low.
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
I'm a firm believer in no Christmas anything until after Thanksgiving. Drives me nuts. Especially this year--- it's just making me more nervous seeing all the stuff since I'm due 12/23

@kimbo2015 I'm right there with you on the peeing every five minutes. Don't feel bad about the nursery, we haven't started ours yet. I'm not so worried because I know they'll be in our room for at least the first 6 months.
@moonlady-2 Don't feel guilty! You're growing a tiny human in there and it can be exhausting.
@clovelyone - sorry to hear about all the nausea and back pain. Good luck with your remaining preparations!
@breezybee - closet door sounds much nicer than a curtain. Hope the work is done quickly for you.
@kimbo2015 - we've only barely started our nursery because of working on the kitchen, just in case it makes you feel better about where you are. Hang in there!
@moonlady-2 - Did they tell you at your appointment anything about how long they'd let you go past your due date? I have a growth scan next week because my OB said he was measuring big at my last appointment, and I'm curious about your experience.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
36 weeks and papaya
2) How are you feeling?
mostly pretty ok. Some heartburn, some got pain, a little nausea but there's probably another reason for that. More emotional issues than before.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
had an appointment this week with GBS culture and baby was measuring a bit big. I'll have an ultrasound next week to get a better idea of his size. Talked about my emotional issues with my OB and she put me on sertraline for peripartum depression. I think it'll be a good thing though, because birth control seriously messed with me (guess I'm sensitive to hormone shifts). Better to get it into my system now and have therapeutic levels when baby comes and the real hormone swings happen.
4) How are baby preparations going?
a little better than before. Nursery is partially cleared out and we had a shower today. Still need to do several things, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
rave: I can sit on the couch in my living room!!! The kitchen is functional (although needs lots of finishes) and things are slowly getting put back together in the rest of the house.
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
I usually start decorating the day after Christmas but prefer to start getting gifts earlier. Haven't gotten anything yet this year, and I'm thinking the decorating will mostly fall to DH -he enjoys it pretty well, and I'm due the 2nd.

2) I feel like crap! Lol for real though my carpal tunnel hurts so bad I can't do anything with my hands not even sleep. My back is also in pain and shoots down to my feet and I can barely walk. Going to target and walking the length of the store is almost impossible. I have to sleep with 4 pillows and basically sitting up.
3) Tuesday
4) got half my frozen dinners made and going to make the other half this next weekend.
5) nothing I posted my rant in question 2
6) GTKY: I like planning for Thanksgiving(told the hubs I'm only making dinner for us this year). The hubs and I started to put up christmas decor outside yesterday (since it was nice and I'm due early December) we plan to cut down our tree the day after Thanksgiving. I have a few things I'm ordering off Amazon for Christmas and keeping it small and simple this year.
@Kirss that 1:30 c-section is brutal!
@clovelyone sorry to hear you’re having a rough go of it, but 11/21 is so soon, yay!
@Amber_Waves I definitely feel behind in learning too, but we’ll be ok!
@breezybee you have more done than I do so don’t stress too much, there’s still time!
@kimbo2015 my husband is still painting our nursery so I feel your pain!
@moonlady-2 one step at a time! Moving is hard when you’re this pregnant.
@rebeckyjoy glad you are getting ahead of PPD and that your doctor has been helpful!
@weaver15 sorry to hear about all of the pain!
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
34 weeks, butternut squash
2) How are you feeling?
Definitely uncomfortable, tired, sore, etc. but I’m still going to say I’m feeling pretty good considering.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
Thursday - starting on appointments every 2 weeks now.
4) How are baby preparations going?
LOL I am so lucky we got almost everything we need at our shower because nothing else is done. Moving 7 weeks before my due date was an interesting choice.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant: My house is in shambles and I cannot wait until my kitchen is done and all of the rooms are painted so I can finally focus on baby stuff! Rave: Very productive painting day yesterday thanks to my family - so glad the house finally seems to be coming together.
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
I think after Thanksgiving is the right time to start decorating and everything. That’s probably when we’ll start, although we want our tree to last so we’ll probably wait an extra week to get it.
clovelyone totally have the countdown going, as soon as I got the call I downloaded an app.
breezybee Haha that is so funny, about the music! The toy room sounds like it’s going to be their favorite place.
rebeckyjoyMJDsquared said, ain’t nobody got time for a pregnancy cold!
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
33 weeks, Celery
2) How are you feeling?
Sleepy, but going strong. My only odd symptom is that my right side ribcage has been hurting on and off for about 2 weeks. My midwife just said to monitor it, and if it gets worse they may do an ultrasound to look at my gallbladder.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
I had one last Tuesday. It went fine, and I now know that week 36 (3 weeks away???) is when they do an extended conversation with me about labor options. Next Tuesday is my next appointment.
4) How are baby preparations going?
Pretty set up at this point. I did a huge shopping spree at Target and I feel much better about everything. I bought diapers, nursing cover up, storage solutions, and a bunch of other little things I had on my registry still. I also hung up all of the newborn/0-3 month clothes and labeled things in the nursery so that my mom/husband will have an easier time understanding my system. This week I am going to put up the wall decal and keep checking other things off the list around the house that I just want to do before baby arrives. I made another freezer meal last night, so I’m slowly but surely amassing some good options in the freezer. That feels pretty good. Hopefully while my mom is visiting she will cook for us, and then we can save my stored meals for when she leaves.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant: Discovered a leak in the window frame last night during a bad storm. I was so anxious about the house rotting away that I couldn’t fall asleep until 1:30ish. And I slept on the couch, because it seemed more promising than the guest bed, which has seemed more promising than our regular bed the last couple weeks. What’s next, will I start sleeping in the basement??
Rave: My husband started grouting the master bath tile, and I love the color! Also, I got to work early this morning and raced through the development of 3 reports so I feel less guilty about slacking a bit on Friday during my work from home day.
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
I think I will start preparing for decorating next week, but I will hold off on actually putting lots of things out around the house until a couple weeks from now. My husband will be busy with the bathroom project, so he probably won’t put up lights outside for several weeks. I have been listening to xmas music for a couple weeks now, especially during chores. I do some seriously loud singing along. J I started xmas shopping a few weeks ago. I got some local maple syrup jugs and some amish-made jelly jars for each of my siblings. I have to ship those to other states, so I figured the earlier I get my act together the better. I tend to procrastinate on sending gifts to them (or forget altogether), so this year I’m trying to really have a plan and get it done so that I don’t feel like a selfish sister/aunt while simultaneously trying to be a good new mom.
35 weeks- pineapple!
2) How are you feeling?
Thankfully, I am feeling pretty good. Tired, and not sleeping great most nights, but just trying to take it easy whenever possible.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
Last week- midwife, and all was good. Next week is my first weekly midwife appointment, along with a weekly ultrasound due to my age.
4) How are baby preparations going?
Oy, too slowly for me.
This coming weekend we're having a little early birthday party for me at our place, so won't get more baby stuff set up. I think next weekend I'll get a bunch of bagels and other stuff to feed people, and call in more help- I have a few friends that have asked what we need help with, so coming up with a list of things people can help us do around the house and baby room.
The room is painted, and furniture is set up, but I want to at least touch up some parts of the trim and windowsill that really need it. I guess it's just little things at this point, but it feels like tons of little things!
We aren't doing a baby shower- Jewish family traditions. We have amassed a bunch of great hand me downs, including the bassinet, and a bought the car seat a few weeks ago of course. We'll publish the registry after baby is born (still working on the registry too!)... and I am doing my best to get extra storage space set up, but it's hard to know how much space we will need without having most of the stuff yet.
I know I just need to go with the flow, but it's hard when I want to nest as well, and have things as set up as possible!
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
We skipped the breastfeeding class we were registered to attend a few weekends ago, because both of us were so exhausted, and we had packed childbirth and childcare classes all in October in late night after work classes. I got access to the Medela breastfeeding class for free online with a coupon code, haven't watched it yet, but I *really* hope it's useful!
I know we'll have a lactation consultant at the hospital, and my SO's mom will be with us postpartem and she breastfed her 3 children, so I am hoping all will be fine.
I do wish we had been able to do the hospital class though.
6) GTKY: Now that Halloween is over, when do you think it is okay for all things Christmas to appear? When do you typically decorate? Listen to music? Shop?
We don't celebrate Christmas. I personally love decorations and music, it really doesn't bother me that it's everywhere so early.
It does tick me off when people (with good intentions, I know), think that Chanukah is like the equivalent of Christmas. Chanukah is a relatively minor festival, we already had our big Jewish high holidays a few months ago!
