I have my anatomy scan tomorrow. I’m feeling pretty nervous right now. I just hope everything with the baby is OK. I am excited to find out if we’re having a boy or girl! I feel like we’ve been waiting forever.
Full anatomy scan tomorrow! We had an initial anatomy scan at 16 weeks and all was looking well with baby girl - I'm hopeful that she will be looking good tomorrow and growing strong. Also hoping my placenta previa has cleared up - fingers crossed!
Lots of anatomy scans this week! So exciting. Can’t wait to see how everyone’s scans go.
I just have a regular appointment with the OB Thursday. Nothing to exciting. I should get the highlights from the anatomy scan last week—but everything seemed fine.
@bb3vj3n I had my A/S almost two weeks ago and keep whining to myself that I have to wait at least four months to see her again! Even debated making an appointment for a boutique US, but ultimately I don't think I want to do something like that if it's not medically necessary.
It's reassuring, though, that all of a sudden I can feel her squirming around more often.
My anatomy scan was also this morning. Baby was totally uncooperative and we couldn't get several measurements. It was sad not to get to see her little face since she was spine up and refused to move but at least I get to see her again in a couple weeks.
Good luck to everyone else going for AS this week! They are exciting but stressful.
We had our anatomy scan today! She said all looked ‘textbook’, but she could not get any face measurements or shots, so another ultrasound in 4 weeks, which I don’t mind. And we confirmed he’s still a boy! It was funny.. he kept moving around so much, back to stomach and back. She said does he always move this much?! Yes, he sure does! He’s also measuring in the 90th percentile , so they will also be remeasuring him at the rescan! Hello big baby!
@notthefather sounds like our babes got together and decided not to cooperate today!
Updating here since we don't have one this week- I had another appointment today with a nurse practitioner that was amazing. For any of you that know my saga with my OB it put my mind at ease. She told me to go to the midwife for the rest of the time and as soon as I gave birth switch OBs. Basically it sounds like everyone hates my OB but they all own the practice so they can't do anything. She told me I didn't really need to take an aspirin every day, I have gestational diabetes not type 2, and that she didn't understand why I was coming back every two weeks when my numbers are as good as they are. I feel so much better!
Tomorrow is A/S and fetal echo. Tomorrow will answer so many questions! Hoping for the best, prepared for the worst... will def be a long day with both big ultrasounds.
I will update here...because why not haha. I had my MFM appt today with the level 2 ultrasound, and everything looked fantastic! Baby looks normal, and my hematoma seems to be gone. What they thought was a cyst, the MFM doc thinks was actually a weird angle of the galbladder. He said he is confident there is no cyst. I still go back in 4 weeks to make sure, but I am very relieved!
Re: Weekly Appointments—10/23

I did hear a strong HB at my OB appointment last Monday which had been keeping my anxiety at bay.
Unless something is wrong - this will be my last scan. Sad that I won't get to see this babe again until he/she is born
It's reassuring, though, that all of a sudden I can feel her squirming around more often.
