When do you need to switch newborn over to a more absorbant overnight cd?
Depends on the child. My first switched around three months if I recall, my second around three weeks. But my first always needed more absorbtion than my second.
Late to the party, but we also cloth! I hated pockets, and got rid of those in a hurry. My favorite is fitteds and wool, with some flats thrown in. The wool just replaces all of our pants around here. I especially love Truly Charis. I've slowly bought pieces and sold off other stuff to fund them. Luckily, we only need like 3 pairs at a time.
For fitteds, I've always liked gmd workhorses, sometimes with an extra hemp insert thrown in. I also love my TC fitteds, but they are out of production right now.
We use disposables at night.
To wash, I do two full cycles with tide in both. And we have a diaper sprayer, which I love.
Our daycare center takes cloth. I used to send all- in- ones to our old place, but the new one will use the fitteds.
