WAYDTGKU: About to start OPKs, BBT, CM, PNVs, CoQ10 when I remember, pomegranate juice
R/R: Finally got my RE consult scheduled! It's November 30th, so we have a while to wait...but I'm glad to at least have it on the calendar. My rant is that I went to the dentist this morning and my mouth is still numb. Hoping it wears off before I have to work the public service desk at work!
CS/Q: Nope!
GTKY: At first I was going to say vampire because they're so much more suave, but actually I think being a werewolf would be less disruptive to my life. One day a month versus every day...Hmm. Also if I were a vampire I would never be awake when the library was open, which would be horrible for my reading habits.
@augusta108 I will! I'm a bit nervous about it, I hate afternoon appointments for this very reason. Congratulations on getting your appointment! It does feel good to have it on the books. As for the latte, it's really just apple pie spice instead of pumpkin pie spice. It is super yummy though. Highly recommend!
@Augusta108 Glad that you have a date for the RE now. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. FX the numbness wears off soon.
@SkilledSailor Damn that latte sounds good! Enjoy that beautiful weather. GL with your appt today. Let us know how it goes!

R/R: Ugh, I think we have decided to forego the NY trip this time around. Holidays are too close and financially we need to focus on that. Bummed!
CS/Q: Pretty sure I O'ed yesterday, so like @SkilledSailor I am just waiting for one more temp to move over.
GTKY, Halloween is Coming Edition: If you had to choose, would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf? Hmm....Werewolf, seems like there would be less issues somehow. And maybe I could be a cute and cuddly one?
@Augusta108 Love your GTKY answer. Very good point about library hours! That's great that you got your RE appointment scheduled, too bad it's so far away though.
Month/Cycle: 5/6
CD: I guess CD2? *TW-loss* Seems that AF finally started full flow yesterday following my loss, but still waiting for HCG to go down completely. *End TW*
WAYDTGKU: Benched this cycle due to work and doctor's orders. But I got a new BBT and plan to temp anyways. Also planning to get some pomegranate juice!
R/R: We were bad last night and got pizza and garlic bread for dinner. And we have leftovers for dinner tonight!
GTKY: I'd choose vampire because I love True Blood and reading YA books about vampires. Also it'd be great to not need to sleep! I'd have so much more time to get stuff done.
@Augusta108 glad that you got your RE consult scheduled! I had mine several weeks ago. It's nice to get things moving.
@SkilledSailor good luck with your appt this afternoon! I will be interested to hear how it goes!
Month/Cycle: 11/13

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, BBT, CM, HIO, PNVs, acupuncture, Pom juice, Coq10
R/R: rant: I don't know what is going on with my body. My OPK test line is lighter than it was earlier in the month (WTH?). I'm usually pretty regular and should be getting a positive about this time, or at least a darker line. Getting frustrated! rave: MH and I have a date night tonight at our favorite sushi spot!
CS/Q: I asked this in the chart question thread, but has anyone experienced delayed O as a result of acupuncture?
GTKY, Halloween is Coming Edition: If you had to choose, would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf? I am totally a morning person, so I think I'd have trouble with both! I guess I'd pick werewolf since I like nature/being outdoors. At least I'd be outside and not stuck in a dank old coffin.
@Augusta108 yay for an appt on the books! I hope the time passes quickly for you! @SkilledSailor I hope your consult goes well this afternoon! @offtoneverland I'm sorry about your loss Sending hugs. And I totally agree with your GTKY answer! @therealbitts I'm super jealous of your sushi date! That sounds amazing right now!
Month/Cycle: 4/3
CD: 16
WAYDTGKU: CM, OPKs, PNV
R/R: My OPK this morning looked much darker than a couple days ago so that's exciting. The test line was *almost* as dark as the control line. Although for me to actually believe I have ovulated the test line needs to be much darker than the control. I've been faked out before thanks to PCOS and random LH surges with no ovulation. I am not at all used to normal-ish cycles so if FF predicted my fertile window/O correctly...that's just crazy to me. It predicted O on CD18 so we'll see. I'm so amazed at how much exercise and eating healthy has affected my fertility. I NEVER used to ovulate on my own. And now I'm on my third cycle TTC without the RE. Just crazy. And exciting!

GTKY, Halloween is Coming Edition: If you had to choose, would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf? Vampire, for sure. And more of a True Blood kind of vampire than a Twilight vampire.

@Augusta108 happy you have an RE appointment scheduled!! Hopefully the appointment is productive and you get some answers. @SkilledSailor good luck this afternoon!! I also hope your appointment is productive and you get some answers. Also, care to share the apple pie spice latte recipe?! Sounds so delicious! @offtoneverland nom pizza and garlic bread sounds so good. @therealbitts that happened to me last cycle - and then sure enough a few days later I got a true positive. Stick with it. I think your LH can 'surge' or at least rise multiple times in a cycle, but perhaps not enough to trigger ovulation. I also think the amount of water you're drinking prior to testing can change the intensity of the line, and it could even be the test strip itself. @SkilledSailor & @Augusta108 -- so excited for your RE consults! My one piece of advice is ASK QUESTIONS. I have found that those who work in an RE office don't know if you're BRAND new to TTC with RE help or an old hat, so sometimes they don't give a ton of info. So ask! Say hey, when can I expect these results? What happens next? I've read this...what are your thoughts. Be your own advocate!
@offtoneverland -- So sorry for your loss **creepy internet hugs**
@therealbitts -- I never turn strip OPKs, but when doing LH blood work my first month my levels were up and down like crazy until I actually surged. The doctor wasn't concerned and said it can fluctuate drastically until go time. FX that you get your +
@Canucklehead123 thanks! Glad it's not just me! Congrats on your new house - we just moved a few months ago. That is such an exciting/stressful process. Champagne is my go-to beverage of choice - enjoy!
@blackhottamales yes, we try to make date nights a regular thing. I'd say we get about once per month. It's really good us since we get so busy with work/life. We are big foodies too, so it gives us the chance to get our food and drink on.
WAYDTGKU: OPK, PNV, CM and CP, BBT. Was told to stop the B vitamins to get a better idea of what my cycle is without something changing it.
R/R: The sickness has hit the house. I am currently escaping it, maybe because I sacked out at 7 on the couch last night. I was up at 4:55am though to BBT, woke up before my alarm!
CS/Q: Not yet.
GTKY, Halloween is Coming Edition: If you had to choose, would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf? I guess werewolf, as others said you could be normal for a lot of the month.
WAYDTGKU: All the things...and just added RR leaf tea too!
R/R: MH is getting home from a business trip tonight which I'm excited about. I work until 9 and he won't be home until around 10:30, but still exciting!

GTKY, Halloween is Coming Edition: If you had to choose, would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf? I'm going to say werewolf. Seems like more of a lifestyle choice (only vampire with full moon) than vampire haha

CS/Q: Nothing to see here.
GTKY, Halloween is Coming Edition: If you had to choose, would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf? A vampire might make sense for me since I work night shift. But are we talking the Twilight-type ones that can walk around during the day and the werewolves change back and forth? If so, I might prefer a werewolf.
@blackhottamales Thanks for the log in work around that you posted in yesterday's WTO. It worked, halleujah! @Augusta108 Are you also a librarian? Have we talked about this before? Sorry if we have, but waving hi to my fellow library worker. @SkilledSailor Hope the RE consult goes well! @nitnat007 Sorry to hear that you're cancelling your trip. That's a bummer! @offtoneverland Sorry to hear about the loss. Thinking of you. @therealbitts Sorry to hear about the weird cycle stuff. I've been experiencing some confusing stuff too recently. Enjoy your sushi date, that sounds awesome! @Sarafuss Glad to hear that you are seeing such positive results from the healthy eating and exercise! @nimmle That's cool about the Ragtime auditions coming up. The amount of sleep you got last night sounds pretty awesome.
@canucklehead123 I need that tape dispenser! It's amazing. @luckypandas Yaaaaaay for your IUI tomorrow! Good luck! I've got everything crossed for you. @Sarafuss That's great news that your body reacted so positively to the dietary and exercise changes. Did you make any specific changes or just some overall healthier choices? @nimmle Hooray for Ragtime! I'm so glad you were able to sign up for it. Do you have to prepare to try out for a specific part, or will they just stick you in whatever role fits you best? @canucklehead123 Congratulations on your new house! I don't think a glass or two of champagne will hurt in the long run. Mix it with your ute juice to make it a healthy cocktail! @blackhottamales I've read a couple of the Sookie Stackhouse books and have been wanting to read them again! I'll have to see if they're available at my library.
@offtoneverland I stopped drinking pop for the most part. I might have one Coke a month. Surprisingly, I don't crave it anymore! I drink a lot of water (and I try to stick to 1 cup of coffee a day). Since I have PCOS I am trying to eat low-carb since I think that works best for my body. If I can help it I try not to eat a lot of bread and pasta and I eat a lot of chicken/brown rice/veggie type meals. I meal prep that for lunches during the week and we try to make healthy meals for dinner. But we do eat out a few days a week so it's not perfect. As far as exercise I do HIIT workouts on the treadmill 4-5 days a week (more like 4 days lately) and I do a lot of the workouts on the YouTube channel, Blogilates. Somehow I've become someone who really enjoys working out, which is something I never thought I would say! I just feel so much better/healthier/happier/more confident that I keep up with it now.

@nitnat007 Sorry y'all decided to cancel your trip. Do you think you'll be able to go in the spring?
@offtoneverland We had that same dinner on Sunday. So bad yet so good.
@therealbitts Sorry your OPKs/Ovaries are not cooperating with you. That can be super frustrating!
@canucklehead123 Apple Spice Latte: 1/2 cup warmed vanilla soy milk (milk of choice), 1/2 coffee, dash of apple pie spice (I get it from a spice shop downtown). Not as fancy as it sounds.
@luckypandas Pom juice is suppose to help strengthen the uterine lining. GL with your IUI!
AFM and the RE: She was super nice but I completely blanked on our reasons for being there. Doctors make me nervous. Luckily our new patient forms had those questions so we did talk a bit about cysts and H's chem lab. TW Loss* She seemed optimistic about the CP I had in July *END TW So she doesn't think there's an issue with sperm but H has an SA scheduled for Monday JIC. We went ahead and did an ultrasound today and didn't find any cysts (and confirmed that I ovulated) so for now she's not worried about PCOS being a possible issue. I'm suppose to call on CD1 to schedule an HSG to check my tubes since I have had surgery in that vicinity. She's optimistic that nothing is wrong and we'll be pregnant before the year mark but these are the tests she wants to do for now to confirm that. Overall, I feel good about the clinic and her confidence that everything is fine makes me feel better for now.
@SkilledSailor I'm glad your appointment went well and that the RE was optimistic about your chances of getting pregnant. Hopefully all the test results come back clear! @Sarafuss Great job making all of those changes to your diet and exercise. It sounds like it's really paying off. Also, thanks for the YT channel recommendation. I do most of my workouts via YT so I always love discovering more to try out!
Sorry I didn’t get back on today with work so trying to catch up now.
@SmashJam@mrs_drc_rn@SkilledSailor it was just a fun trip as MH was going to be making a stop there mid-November on the boat. So we were going to make a trip out it. We will however be planning a trip to Italy for his HLTA next spring instead, so I’m ok with it.
@SkilledSailor so glad that you had a positive appointment with the RE. FX that she is right and you get that BFP before the year mark!
WAYDTGKU: Just started fertility testing. Before that we were just using OPK's and apps to track my cycle and time intercourse.
R/R: Well, as I was typing this I just got a call from the RE with the results from DH's semen analysis and he had zero sperm. ZERO. I'm sick to my stomach. I'm kind of feeling like this is the end of our TTC journey. My insurance covers infertility treatment but I don't think we're up for it.
*TRIGGER WARNING DH has a 9 year old son from a previous relationship and is now wondering if he is even his. Baby making is going to be likely be on hold while we deal with this difficult information and await the appt with urology (that's who handles male infertility at Kaiser).

@Augusta108 @SkilledSailor GL with your RE appointments!
@nitnat007 sorry about having to cancel your trip! When were you planning on going?
@offtoneverland sending hugs!
@therealbitts I’m so jealous you’re getting sushi, I can never convince DH to get it! Enjoy!
@Sarafuss keeping my FX for you!
@blackhottamales I’m with you on the reasoning for being a vampire!
@luckypandas GL and keeping FX for you!
@SmashJam ugh, that’s the worst! Hope the household feels better ASAP!
I've never been drama talented but admire people who are.
@canucklehead123 Congrats on the house closing! Enjoy that champagne, girl!
@luckypandas GL with the IUI tomorrow!
@Hope you stay well! The amount of sleep you got last night sounds pretty awesome.

@jaylii Yay for H getting back!
@Sarafuss Great job making all of those changes to your diet and exercise. It sounds like it's really paying off. Also, thanks for the YT channel recommendation. I do most of my workouts via YT so I always love discovering more to try out!

Anyone else's BB's hurt leading up to, during, and after ovulation? Wtf beebs, can you figure yourselves out?!
@SmashJam @mrs_drc_rn @SkilledSailor it was just a fun trip as MH was going to be making a stop there mid-November on the boat. So we were going to make a trip out it. We will however be planning a trip to Italy for his HLTA next spring instead, so I’m ok with it.
@SkilledSailor so glad that you had a positive appointment with the RE. FX that she is right and you get that BFP before the year mark!
*TRIGGER WARNING
DH has a 9 year old son from a previous relationship and is now wondering if he is even his. Baby making is going to be likely be on hold while we deal with this difficult information and await the appt with urology (that's who handles male infertility at Kaiser).

@margorita30 I'm so sorry about the devastating news. We recently got a MFI diagnosis (but not azoo). I know it's so hard to process but it definitely does not need to be the end of the road. Feel free to PM me I feel you want to vent or rage.
