So, mine is this mandatory Child Abuse Training I have to do to renew my RN license. Not only is every page timed, so I can't click to the next page as soon as I'm done reading, but the review/test questions are timed, too! So no matter how quickly I answer the question (and whether or not if I get it correct) I have to sit there and watch the 20 second timer go to zero before I can click the next button. So frustrating and annoying.

Myself I forgot my breakfast at home and didn't realize it until I pulled into the parking lot at work. So i had to leave to get something because if I don't eat every few hours I feel terrible. Which made me late for work. Ugh.
DH! I had my first OB appt today and he met me a the hospital to watch the twins. The OB said I wouldn't get an ultrasound with them for another 10 weeks since we had done one with my RE. I started to panic and he offered to bring in their portable machine. So I text DH this and he panicked and rushed into the room with our gigantic stroller and a screaming toddler. It made it very difficult to finish discussing things with the doctor. Thankfully, one toddler was being super well behaved and the other calmed down when the OB turned down the lights for the ultrasound. I get DH was on high alert, but had there been an actual concern, I'd have told him to come back there.
@suchaglencoco congrats on TWINS! So amazing. We took out toddler to our first appt... let’s just say, I’m going alone to my 12 week tomorrow ha!
We we are buying a new (used) car. We’ve been leasing for years.. low payments, pretty new, clean cars. We are looking to buy a van to fit in now. Husband and I have such a different idea on what’s appropriate for a monthly payment and it’s frustrating. He wants bells and whistles for the same as a lease and I keep explaining to him it’s literally impossible. Ugh. I don’t mind paying more for something we’ll eventually have paid off and that we will keep for a long time. *side note: anyone have a fav van?*
I think I already used up my TW in the randoms thread.
Other contenders: - People who suck at driving. Get out of the left lane - it’s called the passing lane not the “drive here at your leisure” lane. - People who don’t go on mute during conference calls when they’re driving/eating/sneezing/coughing. Omg really?? - The sun. Why you setting so early lately? This sucks ass!!
I swear I read this as "Chili Abuse". Pregnancy brain...... Yah, but that training sounds annoying. We have to do those for: Workplace Sexual Harassment, HIPA Laws, Bloodborn Pathogens, Substance Abuse. I have the same issues.
My insurance company sucks. They won't cover my refills of zofran for any reason. So I either drain our flex spending paying for it out of pocket or live my life vomiting. And it just sucks. Because everyone just keeps telling me well we can make suggestions for you...nibble crackers, try ginger, blah blah. I know they mean well but I just want to yell and say. No what I need is this specific medicine. The go to remedies don't help. And my throats is so sore so I just smile and say thanks I'll figure something out.
Pregnancy brain. I had to give a 10 minute presentation to like 200 people over video conference and had pregnancy brain right in the middle. Totally lost concentration and tripped over my words. Ugh.
@mamabird515 I don’t own a van but I test drove an Odyssey before settling on something that didn’t have sliding doors. I am still slightly obsessed with it.
@MrT723 thanks. Someone on the HG thread just gave me awesome advice though. So in a way venting my frustrations might have solved it for me! Thanks mommas!
My co-worker... on her day off. If she'd just made sure her work was done yesterday, it would have saved me like 3 trips back and forth across campus today and a big headache. I'm too tired to do her job and mine. I totally get wanting to get home when you have the next day off, but seriously...
@mamabird515 I have a Chrylser Town and Country, and it's the first/only minivan I've ever had, but I LOVE it. I have no complaints about it. This coming from someone who swore up and down that I would never ever ever own or drive a minivan. But enough people convinced me that with three in car seats, it's the only logical choice. And I don't regret it one bit.

@sandbar517 I hear you! My sister has been having kids much longer than I and I gave her so much crap when she bought a minivan in her 20s. Here I am doing the same. So far loving the Odessy and Sienna but dang, if I knew I’d be spending 40,000 on a car I thought it would be “cooler” haha!
@mamabird515 Exactly! I've heard really good things about both the Odyssey and Sienna, but they were both outside of our price range. I didn't even test drive any other minivans because I bought mine used.

It's Thursday but I need to vent! Asked a coworker for some help today with my 12 hour shift because I have been puking since 5 this morning. She swiftly told me that I am lucky to be pregnant and that everyone at work is sick of me always saying I'm sick. Way to make a hormonal lady feel like absoulte garbage...so apparently I can't express any feelings at work anymore :/I just have to "suck it up"...what a fun 6 months I have ahead of me...
@sandbar517, I could have written that. Our T&C is a lifesaver. And the face the doors don't swing open helps a ton in parking lots. How are you planning to configure the kids? At this point, I think the twins will go in the 3rd row, the passenger side middle seat will be down at all times and new bean will sit behind me. I don't know how well that will all work when it comes time, but it seems like the most logical configuration at this point.
@suchaglencoco Good question. I just assumed we would leave one of the convertible seats in the middle row, put the infant seat in the other seat of the middle row and put one convertible seat in the third row, so we can keep the other seat in the third row down flat and not lose a ton of storage space. Although your way makes sense, and would make buckling seats in the third row easier. Something to think about...... Just a thought for your configuration. It might be easier to put Baby in the passenger side middle seat. That way you can let the twins climb in the driver side and get situated in their seats while you click baby in his/her seat (I can't remember if you're Team Green or if you're one that's found out already), and then buckle the twins without having to switch sides back and forth between the passenger and driver side.

I’m excited about but also dreading new car shopping. I just bought a new car 3yrs ago and it’s my dream car, but it only seats 3 with a car seat, and when the kiddo is in the car seat, no one can sit in the front passenger seat. So when all 3 of us go somewhere my H has to sit in the back. It will be impossible for 4 of us to ride in it.
I also only drive manual transmissions. I am going to have to get an automatic and it’s super depressing. At least we’ll trade in my husbands car and he’ll keep mine, so my first baby will still be in the family. Although I’m not sure how this will work if we can’t put two car seats in there because he helps with drop off/pick ups. Ugh....first world problems.
Going to to go with an SUV of some sort so we can cart all our crap around and have some room to sit up front together like real adults.
@ceridwen77 I definitely feel you on the automatic vs manual. I can't tell you how many times I googled "minivans with manual transmission". Spoiler alert: there are none. I don't remember if it was in a "general" thread or the thread about twins that @suchaglencoco and I were giving our "expert" advice LOL, but I definitely recommend taking car seats/strollers, etc with you and trying them in the new car-even though you'll feel like a huge pain in the ass. It's definitely worth it knowing that you can put front seats back as far as needed, fit the stroller in the trunk with the 3rd row up (which neither of us could do with our double strollers and our old SUVs), etc. As far as when hubby has your car, could you get one of the more narrow seats to fit in the middle seat next to your older kiddo's car seat?
