What's up guys? Getting sick of TB's glitches. I was able to get on desktop just fine, now I had to work my way around their issues in order for it to see I'm logged on.
Sorry for spamming the board with new threads. I know a lot of people are being affected by the glitch, and I saw a few threads weren't started over the weekend and figured I'd just get it done while I could.
For anyone who is having issues getting on TB on desktop; log out, go to the board (June 2018, or any other board), and hit the "New Discussion" button. It'll make you log back in, and then recognize that you're actually.... you know... logged in. I haven't seen anyone mention a way around the issue on mobile yet. I'm probably going to uninstall the updates today and see if that does the trick.
Thanks @izza2 ! I’ve tried all formulations of logging out and logging in. This time I had to log out first, then try to create a new discussion, then it gave me the log in page. And then it worked.
it hit me last night! I don't use the app, but I'm usually on my phone unless I'm working. I was doing fine with no glitches then bam, last night it got all screwed up. I'm just glad it didn't screw me up on desktop yet! yet is probably the key word.

@marcus7676 - It was working fine for me on desktop, but hasn't been working on mobile since the glitch started. I had logged out/back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing worked. And when you try to start a discussion on mobile, it just tells you to install the app.
@catlady1215 - I didn't have any problems with desktop until this morning. I'm so over this glitch! I know there are a bunch of people who can't post/love tit because of it, and it's making me really angry.
my desktop issues started last week - - I honestly thought work somehow blocked my access since no one else was having issues. My app seems okay thus far (knock wood).
I'm on my desktop and so far *knock on wood* everything seems to be ok for me!

I'm fine if I'm on my work laptop (which is where I normally bump from). However, when I tried to log on from my home computer, it never recognized me as logged in and wouldn't let me comment. So weird.
Thankfully I haven't had any issues on mobile or desktop. I wasn't on much over the weekend because I usually bump at work on my computer and there wasn't much going on this weekend maybe because of the issues.
But how is everyone? What are you up to this week?
This morning MH read the 6 week update to me while I was putting on my makeup and getting ready for work. It was really cute. Every day I allow myself to get a little more excited.

@krashke DH has been doing the same! I created my new account on here using his email so he gets all the email updates now Every week he'll comment about what size baby is and reads the email.
@goldenlola that's awesome! I didn't even think of signing him up for one. He apparently signed up for a site on his own. I can't remember which one it was but he said he found it when he was researching baby freebies and deals. His new hobby is looking up what diapers he can get where for the cheapest.

@krashke I was just thinking about all the freebie sites this weekend. Also I think after 12 weeks I want to start picking up a pack of diapers each week, or when they're on sale. I have no idea where we're going to store them, but with DD we didn't have to buy diapers until she was around 4 months from shower gifts. I'd like to have a good stock pile going for this baby (I accept, this sounds a little crazy).
@goldenlola my only concern with that is you might not know what brand works best. I mean you might have a better idea because you're a STM but I always hear that you have to try different brands to see what fits best to avoid leaks/blowouts. So I'm hesitant to start a stock pile.

@krashke Yes very true. We tried Huggies, Pampers, Kirkland, Honest Company and loved Pampers hands down. So the plan was to just stick with that. However I do remember friends that used other brands and swore by them, while they didn't work for us.
@goldenlola and @krashke I love that your husbands are reading you the updates! That's so sweet!!!
@goldenlola That's a good idea about diapers, but I do agree that you may need different kinds depending on the baby. Our DD we strictly used huggies because the others gave her diaper rash and with DS we strictly use pampers. I wonder if you start stock piling now, if you'd be able to return/exchange them if they weren't the right kind?

@goldenlola do you have any stores that are flexible with returns/exchanges? my mil always swore our one grocery store never gave her issues on exchanging packs of diapers, even without receipts. we were team pampers for our son also. huggies leaked. then we moved to luvs when he got older. I'll miss that stock pile from the shower also so I'm sure we'll eventually start packing away different sizes also just to have on hand.

@PatientlyWaiting10@catlady1215 Good point! My dad had bought DD diapers from the states, she was out of the size by the time I got them and was able to return them at Walmart in Canada with no hassle at all. So that may be the place to go. Costco is amazing with returns, but they only sell Huggies & Kirkland.
@goldenlola Will that only work if you know the sex? We're team green and I thought we we wouldn't be able to stockpile/register for diapers because they are different for boys and girls. I'm a FTM, so I could be totally wrong.
@LaceyBee522 Normal preemie-size 6 or higher diapers are the same for boys and girls. Some may have trucks and princesses but they're still the same diaper. You may be thinking of some brands of training pants for bigger kids that have different "zones of absorbency" for boys and girls.
@Dashaina How are you doing lady? You've been quiet lately!! Hoping everything's alright with you!!

This morning DS1 (four years old) saw me take my prenatal vitamin. He asked me why I took a pill and asked if I was sick. He's too observant. We won't tell the kids about the new baby until sometime after first trimester because once they know EVERYONE will know.

Glad to see I'm not the only one dealing with glitch problems. Super annoying. Since todays plans got thrown out the window I think I'm just going to take my son to the park and possibly surprise my mom at work. I'm also having a serious craving for macaroni and cheese....I haven't eaten the stuff since I was a kid but my mind keeps wandering back to it.
Diaper thoughts: When you stockpile diapers you also might get more than you need of a certain size. Babies outgrow sizes pretty quick. I've heard Target allows you to exchange sizes without a receipt.
@krashke I'm glad you're getting a little excited.
Another note about diapers, if you’re worried about brands, instead of buying diapers buy gift cards each week that can be designated diaper $$, then buy them as needed once you figure out what brand is best for baby.
@tepr14 that’s what I had for lunch! Someone in my other BMB said that they use sour cream instead of milk when they make it, so I tried that today. Not going to lie, it was pretty amazing!
@Miz_Liz How interesting- I've never heard of that before I'll have to try that! I've also heard of adding cauliflower too. I'll try it sometime this week! Thanks for the idea
@fantasticmrsfox The gift cards are a great idea!! @tepr14 I craved mac and cheese ALL. THE. TIME. with DS! It wasn't like I remember it, but still delicious. haha

@tepr14 I had never heard of it before either until she talked about it, but a few others said they did it too so I had to try. It’s not a 1:1 substitution - I melted the butter in, then added the cheese then started with a little scoop of sour cream and kept adding more a little at a time until I thought it was good.
@PatientlyWaiting10 haha considering it's the only thing that sounds appealing I'm sure it will be delicious, probably not the same as I remember but hopefully much more satisfying.
@Miz_Liz Cool! I imagine it would make it a little more creamier? Can you actually taste the sour cream in it? Like does it have that tang flavor? Tang is the best way I can describe sour cream haha

@izza2 thank you for this!!!!! I have been having so much trouble and was ready to give up
@goldenlola I think stocking up on diapers is a great idea, you'll have so many additional baby expenses why not work on one now. The major realtors (Target/ Walmart etc) are very lax on returns and exchanges, I know because my cousin who is not married her child's father brought a box of diapers or wipes every week during the pg. They were 19 years old and she lived with her parents. The baby never once ran out of diapers for the first 2 years.
In DH's friend group the men have their own shower (typically called a "Cigar Party"), usually cigars, beer, wings, a televised sporting event and everyone brings diapers as a gift. The expecting mom pops in to tell everyone thank you at half time and BOOM 6-12 months worth of diapers. We won't be buying anything until the very end of the pg. Our families live in different states (FL & LA) and we live in TX. So we will likely have 3 or 4 showers.
@kbrown2385 thanks for thinking of me! I know I've been pretty MIA, but everything is going great! I had my first appt today and got to hear the heartbeat! I've just been really busy with work, my MIL came into town this weekend and I've been out for the count with nausea. Yesterday I literally survived off of saltines and ginger snaps.
Also that glitch has been rough for me too. Sitting upright at the computer isn't fun and I can't post anything from my phone Definitely gonna work on being more active again this week!
