Re: WTO/TWW Week of 10/22
CD/DPO: CD8
WTO - WAYDTGKU: Still haven't HIO (right after my period, I got sick from going off my pain medications), so just tracking temp, CM, and taking PNVs for now. Hoping to do the fun bits tomorrow and later in the week.
R/R: Rant: I got a letter from my doctor today with the results of my pelvic CT. Apparently there's a 2" lesion or cyst, they're not sure what, in the left anterior part of my uterus, so I'll be having a follow up ultrasound or MRI in about six weeks. I have to call my OBGYN tomorrow to make an appointment. Anyway, either it developed since the ultrasound I had two months ago or they missed it. If they missed it, I will be one very angry lady. Rave: My best friend and I have a new joke because of the CT letter. The first sentence in the "findings" is "The patient has a large body habitus". I texted him a pic of it like 'YA THINK?' and we joked about it using words I'm not sure I can post here on the Bump.
GTKY: What's your favorite family recipe? I absolutely love my mom's meatballs. They've since become my meatballs. They're super easy to make.

TWW - Testing: trying to hold out until 12ish DPO, so the 28th probably. Sigh. I want to test now!
R/R: I'm trying really hard not to symptom spot and think about testing. I keep reading the same article over and over to remind myself that any symptoms happening would be happening at this point whether KU or not. So far I've been strong and haven't bought any. DH doesn't want to know the count down until test day either since he's more of a POAS addict than me haha.
GTKY: What's your favorite family recipe? My grandma, mom, and myself all use the same apple pie recipe, so I guess that makes it a family one! My mom also make's a supper yummy squash casserole in the summer, but she makes it much better than me.
@dreamscapes_ They sent those results in a letter? When obviously you would be somewhat upset, full of questions and trying not to assume that they just effed up and missed it the first time? Cowards. I'm so sorry and hope your OBGYN shows the kind of tact and gives the helpful guidance they didn't.
@KFrob You're so close! Hang in there -- testing time will be here before you know it.
Speaking of testing ...and this still feels incredibly unreal to say... I got my BFP yesterday. (!!!) It was the least likely of cycles (seriously y'all -- a fever sent my temps out of whack, I never saw EWCM or turned an OPK positive and we only managed to BD twice) which made the good news completely unexpected but all the sweeter. I'd told DH we were out this cycle after BFNs on what FF thought were 15 and 18 DPO (but I now expect were 10 and 13) and told him AF was on her way when I spotted a day later. So he had no idea what I was doing in the bathroom for 10 minutes yesterday evening or why I came out shaking and crying. But he's thrilled. We both are. And weirded out and scared, but hopeful more than anything.
Now to the most important part: Thank you, THANK YOU to all of you for the support, knowledge sharing, real talk and company the last few months. I respect the ladies in this group so much and will be lurking until each and every one of you exits to your BMB. Fingers crossed so. hard. that day's not far off at all

WTO - WAYDTGKU: Nothing right now :sigh:
R/R: DH turned me down for sex last night. As unlikely as it is that I get KU before my period returns, I'd like to at least give it a fair shot!
GTKY: What's your favorite family recipe?
My mom makes crescent rolls from scratch. She got the recipe from her aunt.
@lalala2004 I never knew you could make crescent from scratch

@emilidkay I'm so so so happy for you! That's wonderful news, and I hope you have an H&H nine months! On another note, it wasn't the OBGYN that sent me the letter. My PCP called me with the results about a week and a half ago and I forgot to call her back, then she sent me the letter just so I had it with the findings form from the doctor who read the scan. The CT was done by a different facility (the same place I've had my MRIs done), while the ultrasound I had in August was at my OBGYN's office. I'll definitely be asking when I have my appointment next month.
@lalala2004 That's annoying that he turned you down! How involved is the crescent roll recipe? I'm tempted to google it and see if I can find a good one.
@CecilB93 Yay! We'll see you here in a few weeks!

The recipe involves kneeding, rolling the dough, brushing it with butter, cutting the shape, rolling them into crescents, and allowing them to rise for several hours. It's pretty intense, but they are so good!
