    Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD: 10

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, OPKs, BBT, Coq10 (both of us when we remember), pom juice, baby aspirin, Going to try EOD starting tonight until O.

R/R: Rave: We got our approval on our adoption application from the Aussie rescue yesterday. Rant: Due to them losing our paperwork and delays earlier in the application, we missed our chance at adopting any of the puppies. They only do mixed gender adoptions and they don't have any males that fit for us right now so we'll be doing more waiting.

CS/Q: I'm slightly concerned my new BBT thermometer is off. I've never had the same temp three days in a row pre-O before. Anyone else get repeat temps before O?

GTKY: Probably ride those drop rides at the fair. Sometime between high school and now I developed a real fear of those malfunctioning.

@mrsmiller8588 What is different about fertility acupuncture over other kinds? Also, yay for O and for sleeping in (even if it was by accident).
  • Options
@SkilledSailor I'm not sure since I've never done acupuncture, but I think they can tailor your treatment depending on the problem. I know with fertility acupuncture they actual do different things depending on what part of your cycle you are in and what the problem appears to be. Yay for your application being approved!

@MrsMiller8588 Well that is annoying that they don't take insurance coverage. I hope that you can find someone that does, or that the chiropractor works out for you.

@SkilledSailor Oh I am so super excited about your application being accepted. I can not wait for you to share puppy pictures! I have to agree with you on all those rides too....I don't like them at all!

    Month/Cycle: 4/5 (1 benched)

    CD: 10

WAYDTGKU: hio, pnv, bbt, pom juice, ubiquinol, opk, epo, and I decided to throw Mucinex in again since CM wasn't seeming like it was showing up on time.

R/R: I am not feeling the greatest today, I think my body is starting to take a beating. I have new release to teach at lunch time as well and always feel anxiety on new release day. MH has tomorrow off so I am going to try and at least get out early to spend some time with him before he goes again.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What is something you have done that you would never do again? Mhmm there are a few things I could put on that list, but probably getting onto the back of a motorcycle without the right on. Tank top and jeans, probably not a wise move.

@MrsMiller8588 Sorry you're having trouble finding an acupuncturist! If your insurance covers acupuncture you should be able to get forms from them to submit for reimbursement if your clinic won't directly charge the insurance. I have to do that with mine, though I haven't actually followed through with the insurance company yet.
@SkilledSailor I'm glad your application was finally approved, but that's a bummer that you now have to wait for a puppy! @MrsMiller8588 is right that an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility focuses on specific parts of the body at different points in your cycle. It's definitely different than a regular acupuncturist.

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 12

WAYDTGKU: all the things! Except I'm down to my last two opks, so I'm ordering more. Might not have enough to detect my LH surge for this cycle though.

R/R: We didn't HIO last night, and now my temp is up a bit today. I'm hoping we didn't miss O! On the plus side, MH is off work today and tomorrow and my only meeting got cancelled today, so we're both home, which is nice. Still have to get some work done, but at least I'm not in the office!

CS/Q: What do you all think? Does it look like O is today or not? Chart in spoiler.

GTKY: What is something you have done that you would never do again?
White-water rafting on a category 4 river. I'd probably do category 2 or 3, but some of the level 4 rapids were pretty scary! I didn't know in advance what I was getting into...

@mrsmiller8588 @darkstar42 Oh that's cool! @mrsmiller8588 I hope you're able to find a specialist who will take your insurance.

@nitnat007 What kind of new class are you teaching today?

@darkstar42 Working from home with H sounds so nice! It does look like a possibility that today is O day. Do you have enough OPKs to check? I think the Dollar Tree carries single ones too if you end up in a pinch.

Good morning!  Joining team WTO again  :D

@MrsMiller8588  I feel you.  I tried searching for "fertility acupuncture" in my area too and did not have much luck.  I'm planning to ask my doctor if she knows of any place that specializes in it next time I go.
@SkilledSailor  Yay for being approved for the Aussie dog adoption, but bummer about missing the puppies.  So you will wait until puppies become available again?
@nitnat007  Friend!!! <3  GL with the new release today. And enjoy your time with YH.
@darkstar42  Enjoy your time at home with YH!  As far as your chart, I'm not sure.  That temp on day 9 is throwing me off.  When do you normally O?

    Month/Cycle: 6/7 (1 benched)

    CD: 2  womp, womp

    WAYDTGKU:  waiting

R/R:  Gorgeous morning!  I did not manage to wake up early for a run today since I've got a bit of a cold, but hoping to get some exercise in later.

CS/Q:  Nothing to see ATM...debating whether to temp this cycle or not.

GTKY: What is something you have done that you would never do again?
I'm with @SkilledSailor--not a big fan of scary rides!  I'm always afraid they will malfunction.

@nitnat007 When does YH leave? Hopefully you can catch O this month!

@darkstar42 I want to try it I just wish I didn't have to jump through the hoops! And they already told me my first appointment would be $200 which seems a little pricey. How often do you go? Also white water rafting is on my bucket list!! Good to know I should not start with a 4.

@dukestar5 The place I found that doesn't it doesn't even show up if I search for "fertility acupuncture" on google. I saw a recommendation on a Facebook group I am apart of. Sorry for CD2... :(

    ::visiting from TWW::
@SkilledSailor. Not too long ago, I believe someone mentioned to @lurvleybunchococonuts some charts seem to have 3 same temps prior to O. What is mixed gender adoption?
@darkstar42 yay for working from home!  I’ve been reading your RE updates ((hugs & kitty snuggles))
    @nitnat007 GL today!
@MrsMiller8588 That is frustrating about not billing insurance. I wish my insurance covered acupuncture :/

@jrm_14 I'm not even positive my insurance will cover it. I'm kinda just assuming because I have really good insurance and it seems to cover everything? Lol

@darkstar42.  My naughty kitty jumped ship for 5 dreadfully long hours on Tuesday night. She escaped (indoor kitty) and I was so stinking upset. She eventually wandered home in the night :)
@dukestar5 ((Hugs)). Nice work getting in a run!

@jrm_14 Yikes! So scary! I'm glad your kitty is ok! Ours are indoor too, and we'd be so freaked out if they escaped!

GTKY: What is something you have done that you would never do again?

Im with @stargazer1lily, I won't go on a roller coaster again. I had a boyfriend in high school who liked them, so I would go on them after he pestered me to ride with him and I'd basically cry the whole time. Now, as an adult, I know I don't have to do things I hate just because my SO wants me to. I can say "no thank you."

@Augusta108 Moby Dick is one of the few books I've started and not been able to finish. I was so bored! And this from someone who read Ivanhoe by choice (boring, but not as bad as Moby Dick!) and all 1200 or so pages of Les Miserables (amazing book).

@Augusta108 remind me - when is your RE appointment again? Sorry about AF mind games...

@nitnat007 MH is home today, so we got to HIO this morning! Fx our timing was good! Your pic cracked me up.
@nimmle I'm so jealous you have someone else cleaning your house! Maybe someday I'll invest in that.

@MrsMiller8588, my RE appointment isn’t actually scheduled yet. We filled out the initial paperwork and now supposedly the nurse practitioner is going to look at it before they actually schedule. Hoping they’ll get back to us soon!

@darkstar42, I read Les Mis in high school while totally obsessed with the musical. I haven’t gotten through more than two pages of Ivanhoe, though!

@nimmle, ooh, I can imagine 9th graders would be a particularly stressful group of campers! I went to sleep away camp once, as a 4th grade Girl Scout, and I Did Not Care For It. Not enough time to read!

    WAYDTGKU: CM, OPKs, PNV

R/R:  Today is my Friday and I'm so ready for the weekend.  We have some fun things planned for the kids but I am also motivated to clean out the garage.  It is a disaster and I really want to be able to park my car in the garage before winter arrives!

CS/Q:  Does anyone experience "mid-cycle" spotting?  This is the second cycle it has happened now.  I'll be done with AF on day 6ish and 4 days later I have some brownish-red spotting for three days.  (Well I'm on day two of spotting now but last cycle it lasted 3 days and it was gone. ::TMI alert!:: It also seems like spotting mixed with CM rather than true spotting with AF).  It's just so weird and I've never experienced this before.

GTKY: What is something you have done that you would never do again?  We went to Gatlinburg and rode the Sky Lift and I thought it would be fun.  Nope.  I was so terrified of falling out the whole time.  NEVER AGAIN.

@nimmle Is his a one-time house cleaner or a regular thing?  Either way, rock it and color me green!

@jrm_14 Currently one time. Although I'm considering the option of doing it monthly since it is so amazingly clean right now.

@dukestar5 Sorry to see you here again. We'll either wait  for a puppy or an adult between 4 and 7. Our older dog can't handle new young dogs but does ok with the other ages.
    aka
@jrm_14 I thought I remembered that but couldn't remember if it was before or post O. They do mixed gender adoption to prevent possible alpha issues. Since we have a female dog we can only adopt a male dog from them.

@darkstar42 Good point! FX that's how it's going to work for you!  Also, get it girl!  ;)

@augusta108 Hope you hear back from the RE office soon. Totally feel ya on Moby Dick. I once decided I was going to read all the original Sherlock Holmes books. Big fail.

@nitnat007 Haha I'd be tempted to walk out if we were told to do that many pulses. Nope nope nope.

@nimmle I could never be a camp counselor. Especially to middle schoolers. That's another nope.

@sarafuss It's possible you have O spotting. It'd be a great question for the CS/Q thread for more eyes to see. I *think* @doxiemoxie212 got mid-cycle spotting and may have some suggestions as well.

@SkilledSailor I thought possibly O spotting but it happened prior to O last cycle.  I took an OPK yesterday and it was negative so I’m super confused.  I’ll try the CS/Q thread!
