I thought my nausea was easing up, but Friday and yesterday mornings I threw up. First time this pregnancy. I was hoping I'd be lucky and not throw up at all with this baby. Oh well. Hoping 2nd tri offers relief! It didn't with DD, but maybe it'll be different this time!
Ive had a headache for two days now. I don’t want to take Tylenol every day so I’m really hoping it lets up. I had high blood pressure at the end of my last pregnancy so I’m just scared I’m heading down that path earlier this time.
I have been stressed out looking for places for us to live and I’ve really been letting my son get to me. I feel like I’m flipping my shit every day. I really need to chill out but since I stopped taking my meds In June, my moods have been all over the place.
I'm having headaches too but I'm not sure if its from the pregnancy or allergies. My nausea keeps changing but it's usually present. Right now I only feel medium nausea but food aversions have increased and I don't know what to eat. My stomach had been hurting a lot too. Sometimes it's gas and sometimes it's a burning feeling. I am always fatigued and I can barely function. Then I get stressed because I am doing so little at work and at home.
@lincbeesmom, I've gotten daily headaches for the past week. I checked The Bumps week by week pregnancy whatever it is, for 9 weeks and it said this. So its super common and hopefully ends soon. My other symptoms have trailed off a bit, so this mad me feel better to think they're from hormone surges.
Still with the nausea and occasional vomiting, which seem to be tapering off!!! (Knock on wood). And I finally took a normal poop today for the first time in two weeks.
Anyone else experiencing round ligament pain already? I'm a FTM and 10 weeks tomorrow but for the last hour or so I've been getting these "sharp, stabbing" pains on my lower right midsection every few minutes for a few seconds and then it disappears. I"m guessing that's what this? I don't have any spotting or cramping other than this pain which makes me hope it's nothing too serious but, as a FTM, no idea what I'm expecting.

@allie0320 I had round ligament pains already and had them pretty early on in my first pregnancy. You probably feel the sharp pains when you change positions too quickly, or sometimes for no good reason at all? They suck, I know!!!
Headaches and heartburn. Tums are my best friends. And peppermint oil for nausea. I know it's not scientific or anything, but the smell of peppermint makes me feel better!!
I had bleeding two weeks ago, and went to the doc and everything looked good. I've been trying to stay relaxed, and know that it happens- and seeing some of you ladies have had/ have bleeding and alls well has really helped. I unthinkingly picked up my 35 lb toddler tonight and had a bright red gush 10 min later. I'm trying really really hard not to panic, as I'm not having any cramping or anything, and it slowed down pretty quickly. I messaged my doctor but haven't heard back yet, and Dr. google is scary. Has anyone had multiple episodes of bleeding in first trimester?
@k5678 I had one serious gush, and spotting for 7 weeks..... You might have a super sensitive cervix that got some pressure. My dr said mine may have been a cyst. FX for you.....but without cramps I think you have less to worry about. And, the fact that you were also doing something strenuous makes sense for the bleed.

@justsuzie I know you had a huge scare, so I'm leaning on that and hoping against hope for the same. The bleeding has increased very significantly and the on call doc told me I needed to go to the ER. Honestly, my hope isn't high right now but I'm still praying.
RLP and headaches. Usually my headaches start a bit later in second tri and I can get them to go away with electrolytes but that's not working this time. They get progressively worse until I'm useless by midafternoon which is problematic with two small children.
Ugh, me too with the discharge!!! I don't remember having this much with my first. Every now and then there will be a little red streak which freaks me out momentarily. That's only happened maybe four times in the past couple weeks, though.
Threw up for first time at 11 weeks. However, I did eat Apple Jacks cereal at midnight so probably my bad.
Still tired and have mom/pregnant brain: my OBGYN reminded me of the fact I'm A- blood type and RH- (yes, I don't even remember my own blood type). Yeah, I think she kinda side-eyed me when I said I had forgotten. Bless my heart.

I haven't been around much because I just feel so nauseated all day. I had a few good days but I'm back to feeling awful. It bums me out when I wake up and I immediately feel like crap. Trying to work has been the hardest on me. I'm an esthetician and facials have not been fun whereas I normally love my job. I don't have the energy or attitude to massage and extract blackheads out of noses. Sometimes I don't even want to smile at people. I'm such a brat. I'm also burping like 100 times a day & the indigestion and occasional bowl movement is horrible. Now I'm annoyed that the one time I join in on this board and all of its interesting conversations is to vent about how pathetic I feel. I know there are a lot of women who feel way worse than me. Plus I'm truly grateful I get to be on this journey, from the bottom of my ♡. I smile all the time to myself because I can't believe it still.
@onesmallcoconut yup I have that too. It's horrendous. I'm ready to pour a jar of coconut oil on my scalp and go to bed with it.
@zaclina omg I just bought Apple Jacks from the store because I'm craving everything apple. I literally just ate them in bed before typing this. I immediately regret how it's making me feel.
With that being said, super happy for all the momma's who have received good news this week and for those who aren't...
@ivyvines6. Thank you! our convo was kinda funny. OB: you have no antibodies in your blood so that's really good news. ME: great! It's good that I'm not sick. OB: Well, more so bc you are A- and this is a second child. ME: (long stare) OB: bc youre RH- and most people are RH+, so your baby probably will be positive, too. ME: I get a shot later for this, right? OB: (long stare followed by science talk about science) ME: ahh, yes.... sooo, can we hear the heartbeat now?
@meggycleary Hope you have better luck than me!!!!
@justsuzie it's a sub chorionic hemorrhage! Not out of the woods but so much better than what I was expecting. I'm truly shocked! Not to overshare but I 100% thought it was impossible to bleed that much and still have a good outcome. Thank you so much for the good thoughts!
I’ve been up since 1am with another stupid headache (it’s now 3am here) and my alarm goes off at 5:30am for work. I showered, I neti potted, I have hot rice pack thingies on my neck and head...I hate these headaches so much!!! I’m 12 weeks. They have to go away soon, right?! First trimester thing? I keep telling myself that.
ETA: Sorry for the middle of the night rant! These headaches are almost literally driving me insane. But, when I finally see Pip all healthy and wiggly at my NT scan on Friday (positive thinking!) it'll all be worth it.
@k5678 I'm glad to hear it's not something way more serious!! I don't know if your religious or not and hope this doesn't offend but I really did say a prayer for you last night when I read what you were going through! So scary!
@onesmallcoconut you can try addit by a few drops of tea tree oil to some coconut oil or almond oil and massage your scalp with it then leave it in overnight.
@all the ladies with RL pain, I'm sorry! I haven't had it yet, but I remember that with my first.
@abhphilly good luck with the headaches. I'm sorry they suck so much.
@k5678 glad it's all okay, that would be worriesome for sure!
I'm so over this nausea and vomiting and dry heaving. I'm sort of worried I'm getting dehydrated. I started phenergren yesterday and it's doing pretty much nothing. I had to call off work today because standing for more than a few minutes makes me vomit. GO AWAY NAUSEA!!
Any second time moms feel like they are more aware this time around of their uterus? Like I can feel it being full or heavier, and before it was almost like I didn't know where exactly I was suppose to feel it? But now that I've been through a pregnancy, I'm so much more aware of where things are and how they are different. I don't know if that makes any sense at all. So here's a random gif. Edited to add:maybe I should have posted this in STM thread, sorry if it's in the wrong place!!

Actually I think this gif fits with the constant awareness theme! And yes. Definitely yes. It's that hard thing in my flubber.
k5678 SO happy to hear this news. I've been thinking of you and waiting for your update! Ride the high of it not being worse. Phew! sharkmama39 I can't poop either, but mine is almost worse. I can only HALF POOP! It's the most UNfulfilling experience.
Thank you @curleemama32 and all for the thoughts and prayers! I truly believe in the power of positive thoughts and prayers. It really does help knowing that there are so many people in my corner. I'm always praying for y'all too- it makes a difference!
All day today I've felt like I can feel my uterus- someone mentioned earlier the leaning forward situation, it's kinda like that. When I lean forward i can feel it the most, but I don't need to lean forward anymore. Def goes to show you the difference between the first and subsequent pregnancies- I don't think I felt anything until 13ish weeks last time.
Maybe this isn't a symptom per se, but my hair is always on point during pregnancy. I'm guessing it's more due to prenatal vitamins but whatever, I'll take the win.
How do people know what the uterus feels like? I have been poking around but it all just feels like blobby body to me :P
It feels, to me, like a hard mass down near my pelvic bone. It might not be poking out yet for everyone, but if this isn't your first pregnancy it does pop a little sooner. If you don't feel it now, dont worry, you will soon enough!!!

Nausea is really my only gripe. I can handle lightening crotch and bloating but the nausea can take a flying leap.

The discharge is ridiculous. Agreed.
headaches have been terrible!
RL pain started today. Actually didn't even remember that that's what it was until I read through this page and was like oh yeah, that's what that is.

Just when I think I may be done with this nausea, it starts up again. Only 2 more weeks of this to go? Please?
