Hello my June mamas!!! Funny my due date is in June right

AFM: The nausea is certainly picking up dear lord!!

Today was off to a bumpy start as OH had an emergency to tend too so that meant I was going solo. It is what it is. Pnut looked great and measured 6wks 4days. Technically a day behind which I'm not worried about! Heart beat was great at 134!!

Good day very happy!!! Now onto the next! US I go back Oct 27th

. Which means next Friday which makes me happy!!!

i still need to find an OB!

@hopeful_mom yayyyyy everything sounds PERFECT!!! I went alone to a lot of my appts because of DH's work, and it is terrible, but I preferred that. The questions he asked the doc were as if he never took a health class in his life......

@mrsa2017 check with your airline before you go, some have super weird rules on frozen things/sharp things. And some fully enforce things like making sure the ice pack is fully frozen at screening, others are more lax. Just for piece of mind, I would get deets and a name of who gives you the info lol!! so exciting that you are moving right along now!

@mrsa2017 ....and definitely check to see which meds need to be refrigerated. Not all of mine needed it but I think I tossed it in the fridge since it came packed in ice originally.

@KZ1126 my OH has to take the cake! After one of my ER he goes so they put them back in now too....add eye roll here!!! So he doesn't pay attention, he also has no sympathy which is quite frustrating as well!!!

@mrsa2017 uve gotten great tips for travel I'm so excited for u!!! Have a note on hand from ur dr too as back up!

@sp128 I am so nervous about them traveling from Barbados and then having to wait to clear customs, but I don't want those nosey people in my business so I will put it in my Dr's name and hope for a smooth and fast transition. I will be on DHL like fly on shit

@Hopeful_mom my ms wasn't too bad. I was a dry heaver and at first it affected me at night. I also ate breakfast as soon s I woke up rather than wait til I got to work.

@hopeful_mom OMG mine said that too!!!!!!!! I was mortified!!!
and yes, breakfast early helps, definitely don't take your prenatal until you've eaten a meal, keep snacks nearby. I really loved oranges and watermelon during the sicky time, then I couldn't eat healthy food anymore, so I just gave in and ate lots of cheesburgers!

Good morning mamas..
So I sent a message to my RE to ask why she did not request I test FSH and she said "The AMH is better ovarian indicator so that is why we requested that one."
Ever got that from a doctor before?.. I think all of you had your FSH tested tho.

@mrsa2017 my RE uses AMH as their primary test, they say it is a little more informative for what they look for. I honestly don't even know if they tested my FSH, I just know they prefer AMH results.

@mrsa2017 now i find what @kz1126 as i've never heard of that. My RE made it that both were important FSH/AMH. Since my AMH is on the lower side we tested it again to a different lab with more accurate results to make sure and it was in fact low....so yes AMH is important BUT FSH is suppose to be 10 and under. I would want to know.

@mrsa2017 I don't know how much weight my RE put in the FSH, but I had it done along with the AMH. My RE also tested my Vitamin D level. Mine was low so he put me on a supplement. He said it's not important for getting pregnant, but for sustaining pregnancy. I also live in New England where we are bundled up most of the year.

@hopeful_mom OMG look how much your peanut has grown!!! Apples and watermelon helped me with my nausea, something about the juiciness was very settling. I did NOT want crackers which are supposed to help, I just couldn't even make myself chew them. Peanut butter and celery was another thing that helped. Try to take breaks from the computer screen too, that made me soooo sick. How far along are you now???

Why I can barely keep up on here!! 9 weeks today yay!!! Interesting about the crackers as I haven't really had any a dry cereal is even making me sick. What are melon has actually been pretty refreshing and funny I had an app off the other day so I guess I will go get a few more of them any other tips are greatly appreciate it thank you so much hope you're feeling great. How far long are you?

I had way more spotting then I cared to see today and emailed my doctor right away! he was kind enough to squeeze me in today which I was so thankful for! Baby thank g-d is doing great and measuring a day ahead! He did see some blood outside and called it a placenta clot if u will. I'm glad to at least know where the blood is coming from and it's still in there so I shall still have some spotting. Scary nonetheless but still relieved at least to know where it's coming from. He explained that the placenta is doing its job correctly and sometimes there's extra blood that comes out when the placenta is doing its thing and blood can develop but usually gets absorbed into the body but this time it's just making a clot I guess outside and that's where it's coming from.

I did have a bit of a meltdown and he was very sweet! He knows it's getting closer to the time I MC last time and that we need to take precautions which I appreciate!!

22 weeks now for me, having a girl.

sort of TW? but I had bleeding early on as well. Cried hysterically thinking the worst. Mine was a similar thing, I just had to wait for it all to leave and spotted for about 2 weeks, but it is nerve wracking!!!!!!!

AFM I have my HSG scheduled for next Wednesday (my OB do not do SIS) at the hospital, I have my last set of BW to complete then tart BCPs next flow. I had a scare last night after BD with husband and had to go to the ER but I didn't stay due to the wait. I believe we uuuuggghhhh tapped my fibroid but I managed through the pain and when I woke up this morning I felt okay. I will go see my OB so I can check it out and make sure everything is okay tho.

AFM *tw* I’m 9 weeks tomorrow. Got to see the little gummy bear today. He was dancing around. Still have MS well all day sickness but it has been better the past 2 days so that’s a win.

I'm 21 weeks and 4 days today. We are going to be surprised with the gender : ) It is definitely freezing here in NE. It was 70 last Friday and it's going to be 38 this Friday. What the frig?

@Holls214 Thanks hun, I'm doing so good today thank God. OMG he looks like a little gummy bear fr LOL.. Well hopefully in the next coming weeks you can kick the MS and pick up the food cravings (the trimester we will drive our husband's crazy with weird late night foods that we wouldn't normally eat).

@SP128 You are officially half way there (twerk twerk lol) I so love the idea of it being a surprise. I am trying to convince husband to do the same. We get so little surprises throughout the process. Your weather sounds really bipolar LOL... It's still sunny and warm here in the Bahamas.

@mrsa2017 HI MRSA!!!! I've been thinking about you! I'm feeling good, I have an anterior placenta so not feeling a whole lot, but I do get surprised by a wiggle here and there.
Good luck with the HSG, love that you're getting so close to your cycle starting.

@KZ1126 hey mama bear! Okay , I am googling anterior placenta! But I am so glad that you and nugget are doing good. I am so counting down the days til I get this done, since my hospital run the other night. You are so close to being in your third trimester. I know you are beyond excited for that. By the time you give birth, I should be KU hahaha

Question for everyone: So DH and I had told close family members about the whole IVF process, both his family and mines are very supportive. I had told them about us doing IVF in February even before we discussed it with our RE (speaking it into existence) but now that we are getting close to starting, I really want it to be private for me and DH until we can safely tell everyone we are PG. So my question is what do I tell them in February when we fly to do our ER/ET and wait for beta? I talk to a few of my cousins everyday, we are really close and they know that it's happening in a few months but they think we are doing our cycle in the states. I actually only told DHs family that we decided to go to Barbados. I really don't want the pressure of having to explain everything while we are actually going through it. I would feel bad lying but I do prefer it being private for the time being.... Please help! Any suggestions would be great.

Hi ladies glad to see everyone is doing well this first trimester is killing me! I threw up my vitamins last night so that was fun

just still trying to figure out what works and I really haven't figured it out yet. Have an US Tuesday so I'm excited to see my peanut and hope the little one is doing just great!!

@mrsa2017 so excited things are progressing nicely for you good luck with your test! As for trying to keep things private with your family the fact that they do know what's going on and you talk to them often I think it's going to be a little difficult. I think it's probably best that you have that conversation with them saying "hey I rather not give you any updates until this point..."
I kept IVF under wraps from every body and unfortunately I miscarried at my mothers home and we all know that horror story so it was very hard after that to keep anything private and she is been on this ride with me from then. I first told my dad I would say after the second ultrasound where I was eight weeks but that's it I still haven't really told many.
Last example, my mom's best friend knew everything that had happened and she knew that I was having a transfer and said I'm not going to ask you until you're ready to tell me. And that's how we have left it and I'm hoping in another couple of weeks that I'll be able to share the good news.

@sp128 i'm really so excited that you get to be surprised! Do you have any feelings either way.? When I was pregnant with the twins I originally thought boy girl and then I thought 2 girls not that I ever really found out the full answer but I did get the girl part right at least one for sure

i'm so excited to hit double digits I can't wait to get into the 20s!! @KZ1126 are you guys really far long with your baby registries and have everything ready to go? I'm just so sick I can't even think of looking or doing anything I'm making my OB appointment and that's a big deal

I hate complaining because I'm so grateful to be pregnant but I just wish this part would speed along a little bit more!!!

@KZ1126 I have an anterior placenta too. I heard the tech say it during my a/s scan and it didn't register. I had an apt today with my OB and was telling her that I wasn't feeling too much movement. She pulled up the a/s notes and sure enough... anterior placenta.

@Hopeful_mom Hang in there mama. I'm sure you tried all the usual tricks like some carbs and protein. When I first started back going to school in September I would make sure to eat breakfast before I left for work. Prior, I would always eat when I got to work.

@mrsa2017 DH and I are really private people. No one in our families know about our losses and only a select few friends know about them. No one in our families know about our journey. I'm not ashamed of using IVF, however I am not open to discussing this private matter. Some of my friends know that we used IVF. In fact, I have tried to keep the pregnancy under wraps for a while. I announced at both of my schools last week and I finally told my mother on Saturday. The decision is up to you. Share whatever you are comfortable sharing. For me, I only shared with people who I knew would be supportive. I don't have time for negativity.

@hopeful_mom don't feel bad about complaining!! You have certainly earned the right to be just like any other pregnant chicky, I have to remind myself the same thing! Took me a while to feel comfortable with registry stuff, but after our scan we finally went to babies r us and had a blast. But like wedding registries, check your list later to see what bizarre stuff your husband put on there.....

@mrsa2017 Most people that knew I was going through IVF respected that I am a private person and waited until I told them at like 10 weeks that I was actually pregnant. I did have a few that constantly asked, and it irritated me, but comes with the territory I guess. It's kind of the elephant in the room, but I did tell close family that I didn't want to talk about anything baby related until I felt it was the right time.

AFM.. My hsg is sheduled for tomorrow at 11am. I just told husband this morning after we had sexy time that I don't think the x-ray will be clear since I feel little stabs of pain here and there (depending on position) when we are BD! So if there is anything I would rather deal with it before the end of the year rather than when we are on the cusp of starting stims. I really don't want to have no delays (please God!)

@mrsa2017 Good luck tomorrow morning : ) Typically someone throws a shower for you. My mother really doesn't like to put too much effort/$ into things. She would gladly have someone else throw a shower so she can invite her friends though..... Maybe it's an Asian thing, maybe it's not.
Oh and @Hopeful_mom is right. Get it girl before IVF starts. I am also a born again virgin. I don't even have an appetite for food let alone a sex drive. We may have done it 4 times since we got the BFP. Maybe.

I will take your wise counsel and do the horizontal hokey pokey as much as possible LOL.... I'm sure your spouses would rather your current state over bussing a nut (so to speak). I have already warned husband about the lack of grown people time in the coming future but I'm sure he will slip in that question to my OB... Men!!

@Hopeful_mom Have a good appointment today love. Is this your last RE visit?
I am honestly so jealous that yal get that extra time at the RE's office. That is the only thing I was a bit sad about when we chose BFC.

@SP128 after family drama at my cousin's recent shower 2 weeks ago, I may opt to just plan my own shower. Some family members did not even show up. I really don't want the negative energy around something that is suppose to be a beautiful time where you celebrate with someone who is FINALLY getting to enjoy something that they had to sit and endure for everyone else throughout the previous years.

Hey ladies..
Major Rant:
So my HSG was scheduled for yesterday (I called on CD1 and made an appointment for CD10) and I was told that the doctor was on call the previous night and wouldn't be in (WTF).... Are you people fucking kidding me! I did everything I was suppose too, even took 1200MG of Ibuprofen per their instructions, to be told it wouldn't happen today.
So I told the tech that I was on a timeline and that we were doing fertility treatments (after I told her it was personal and she kept fucking asking smt) and I needed this x-ray done this cycle because I found out I had a fibroid a few months ago and I'm sure it is still there.
So then she told me to come in today after 10 am to speak to the doctor and explain my reasoning in hopes of them doing it today.
I got there and the same lab tech from yesterday took me to speak to someone in a higher position (I'm guessing it wasn't a doctor but the person in charge in the X-Ray lab) and the lady gets on the tech asking her why didn't she still call the doctor to see if he would've come in to do it or see if he would've asked another doctor to do it since I had an appointment made.
So the whole time I'm thinking "I could've had it done yesterday like I was supposed too". So I'm telling the lady "hey look I have PCOS AND I have no tubes so if your worried that I have ovulated already, I'm sure I haven't, my period religiously comes between CD34-42."
I wasted my damn breath because she still proceeded to tell me to physically come in next CD1 to tell them and schedule it instead of calling on the phone.
Our health system over here is so FUCKED up that it is unbelievable. I am so frustrated and annoyed. If that fibroid is some place that the RE doesn't like, we can be benched for another few months.
All I can keep saying to myself is " this delay is for some reason that I can't see right now and it'll work out for my good." If you cut me right now I won't bleed.

That is so frustrating. It seems weird that they still wouldn't do it today? I went for mine, and only the assistants were on duty the doctor was busy, so some amateur made a sad attempt at getting the catheter up there but couldn't. So my RE came in the next day and did it himself. I don't see why a day or 2 off the cycle day they wanted would matter?
I love your attitude though, positivity is so important and you are right, this delay is for a reason you can't see just yet. February is going to happen for you!!!!!!!!!

@mrsa2017 I am infuriated reading your update! You just want to ring that woman's neck that you spoke to in the first place you can't make appointments and just change them like that I don't understand. Especially when it comes to those types of tests which is doesn't work like that no one else scheduled that day doesn't make any sense at all. So sorry but you do have a great attitude and let's just go with everything happens for a reason.

@SP128 it really is crazy that the one thing I do think about is OK what can I get into my system today? I'd like to do the hokey pokey in theory but that's just not happening!!

I graduated from the clinic yesterday so it was a hard scary day for me so it's interesting that I was still so sick on that day. I wanted to get past that hurdle from last time so I thank God everything is going and hopefully it continues!!

Peanut is doing great so that's the important thing! At first it looked like the baby was sleeping but then all of a sudden the baby was dancing all around it was hard to even get the images and then to hear the heartbeat but it's great. I go see the OB now on Monday.

this throwing up is just ridiculous it's really such wear in tare, Last night was just awful threw up five times I was just so sick, I never thought I would get sleep.
