@KZ1126 how do you get through each visit without driving yourself nuts? I'm just worried all the time. Are you doing a gender reveal party? Exciting there are still a few surprises here and there! The way that alcohol sucks the life outta u so does ur munchkin...ur body goes to what cures it, yay mcds

@Hopeful_mom I'm not over at PAIF. I spend most of my time in the TTCAL graduates board. I recognized a few names in PAIF, but I know more on TTCAL graduates since I hung out at TTCAL for so long. I lurk my BMB

Each visit is quite harrowing. Still waiting for the other shoe to drop every single time. You have a little over a week left til your apt!!!

I guess that happens when u don't spend as much time in ivf land

. I've never looked at a bmb even last time. I still not ready just yet but hope will be.....
i hate that feeling of just waiting for something bad to happen. That's how it was with the twins and the worst did occur so I need to. It feel that way. I keep hoping after an US maybe I can feel some relief cause I'm a basket case right now!! I hate it!! And I already need a nap

@Hopeful_mom. I know that feeling well that something is going to go wrong. Every single visit has been terrifying so far. But after the 17 week check and hearing the heartbeat again I'm finally feeling more comfortable. It feels real real now. Try to enjoy the little things and take it one week at a time. I drove my husband nuts BC I wouldn't tell anyone until very recently but I needed that time to balance all the things I was feeling. I hope you can relax and enjoy your miracle!!! Oh and I strictly lurk on my BMB but will be more active soon.

@Hopeful_mom The months are going by so fast so I'm getting excited to start as well.
@KZ1126 You sound like me lol, my family ratio for girls are high but DH own is more boys. I still am surprised that my husband really wants a girl (even though we would be happy with whatever God blesses us with)

AFM.. I am currently waiting for my AMH results and honestly a but nervous about it. Can you all tell me what is a good range and what your numbers were? Everything else came back good (in my opinion lol) and this is the last thing I am waiting for. I actually had to reschedule my consultation AGAIN due to the lab in the states getting my sample late. So this will make my fourth appointment.

@mrsa2017 they say anything over 1.0 for amh is good! Mine was .30 so not so good and after a year of supplements it was .40 yay go me

it's amh to me that truly is the clock is ticking. Your age is only a number BUT the good thing is you're young and hopefully have some grade A quality eggs so I wouldn't worry to much either way it comes out. What was your FSH? I believe anything under 10 is good too!!

AFM: Since I'm still having issues my RE decided to see me. Getting more cream for my vag yay me!!!

So when he got into the room I already put my name in the machine and he's like we're not doing a scan today....and I was like maybe we could get a sneak peak, make sure everything in the right spot!! So on the DL he did a scan

Pnut thank g-d is in the right spot poo poo!!! Saw a quick flicker for the heartbeat too!

U really could barely see anything. And the pic he gave me looks blank.
Talk about a Lil chocolate chip!!! Thrilled next week is the appt to do this and I will get another peak and the actual due date with all
that good stuff. Even though my APP tells me June 6th is DDay

@Hopeful_mom soooooooo FSH was not one of my tests?!!!!! I don't know how come. My lists of testing included FBC,AMH,TSH,Prolactin,Rubella,Blood Group and Diabetes (HbA1c). What all did yal test that is not on my list? I'm curious now!

edited to add that my OB asst just called for me to come pick up my results. I can FINALLY reschedule my consultation for the last time... YEEEEEEEEES! I'm so freaking happy right now and it's my DH and I 8th month anniversary today! (inserts back flip ) LOL

Got my results.... 13.6 ng/mL
Smt yet I'm still missing the results for my Rubella test WTH!!!!
According to the labs records they sent everything to my OBGYN but his asst told me she gave me everything they sent her, so IDK! Good thing I had not emailed the clinic as yet.

Unfortunately my issue is not common or a quick fix. I'm a guinea pig and they keep trying to guess and since I have my pnut I really don't want to try anything new. I think I need to take it easy and not do to much walking or anything of the kid till I'm healed. I'm hoping in another day I will feel some relief!!! He said to try monistat which I already know I'm allergic too. I'm just thankful it can't hurt the baby and that this reaction didn't happen prior. I think my body has had enough. Just want it to be ok for my pnut!!!

@Hopeful_mom I agree that as long as the munchkin is okay then anything else won't matter so much.
I was surprised that she didn't order a test for that too. Yeah my amh was 13.6... You see how fast Monday is approaching?

@mrsa2017 I have a couple friends with PCOS and their AMH was fairly high also like ours... Hopefully they get the rest of the test results for you. I had my FSH run also. I don't remember that result though. Glad things are finally rolling for you.

So let me tell yal how I so forgot to ask about the FSH test yesterday (covers face) due to it being so much information and her asking me and DH a bunch of questions. But what I will do is email my coordinator and see if she can find out from the doctor for me. Other than that, the consultation was good yesterday and DH is more at ease about some things and ready to rock and roll.
I got an email from the financial administrator and my coordinator as well with my quote for the cycle (medication included) and two calendar dates for us to choose from. OMG it's almost here (squeals).
I see where they sent me the form to do my SHG and another pap but I did one this year so I will just have to fax those results over.
I got my medication list and I know what a lot of them are for (thank you lovely ladies for that) but one or two I need a little more information/experiences about.

Have any of you ever heard that too much menopur causes bad egg quality in PCOS patients? One IVF patient said that too much of it over ripens your eggs due to too much LH too soon? Any information that yal have is greatly appreciated.

mrsa2017 hmmmmm i've heard that about menupar BUT I'm also low amh no pcos here. I did 300 a night which was 4 powders and that was a lot along with 300 gonal f. Maybe some of the other ladies will know better then me.
still no talk on FSH OY!! Curious to here what they say - but I"m confident it will be good!!

AFM: Excited for monday and nervous at the same time. (TW) You know I was so sick my last BFP at 6w and even though I didn't make it past 10WK, I'm nervous I'm not as nauseas right now...which I'm thrilled too. It was debilitating last time but that was for 2...so i'm trying to stay optimistic and positive but its hard!!! I just keep thinking I would feel more relaxed feeling the lil one move around...so lets go 2nd trimester

what are they doing at youre appt? Why will they only to Doppler? They should do an US every time , it's over the belly so what's the difference!!

im thrilled he did the sneak peak and even found the heart beat but the cramps I had thought the day scared the hell outta me. Of course google did say it was normal and probably from the US....however the only time that happened (TW )(I had the MC) so trying to put in out of my head and pray things will look just as perfect!!! This is all very nerve wracking!!

how far long are you know?? I keep saying once I can feel movement it will have to make me feel more at ease!!

Anyone still doing acupuncture??

@Hopeful_mom it's so funny how I was just thinking about how your US is Monday, just less than 3 days away.
I will email my coordinator first thing Monday morning since we made a decision about our dates. After getting another form for more BW I was still surprised that the FSH was not on there. Now I'm really curious as to why. Is there any other test I need to ask about?

@Hopeful_mom I don't think I get an u/s every visit. This is a routine OB visit. I think they have bedside u/s machines. Hopefully I'll get a sneak peek too! I have my a/s on 10/18. I'm 18 weeks today

I can't wait to feel some definite movement. I've felt a few things but it could be gas or other bodily functions.

@mrsa2017 I am not the test mavin but it sounds like they did all the correct ones just need the fsh too!! It sounds like they're starting you off on a very low dosage to see how u respond. So don't worry if you don't respond right away! You're taking one vial of menupur and I started with 2 which didn't do anything and then started with 4 right away. I'm older and needed it, pcos is different.

The a/s is the anatomy scan where they look at all the organs and such. It's a big scan. My OB is sending me into Boston to have it done. I'll have a high risk specialist look over the scans and I'll find out the same day how things are looking. Bump pic to come once I'm not too lazy to take one

AFM... Hubs and I picked which day we want to start and my first stick will be Feb 2 (if AF cooperates).. He said to me this morning that the countdown is on. I think I'm getting nervous now that we're so close to the finish line.

@SP128 Have you purchased maternity clothes as yet or just gonna wait til you really can't fit your normal clothes anymore then buy some? I had friends who said they just went sizes up lol

@mrsa2017 I have bought maternity clothes already. I had a hard time with it initially because of pgal brain but my rational brain told me that the outcome of this pregnancy will not be affected by what I buy. I also bought early because it was on clearance!! I've used the target brand of Bella band to wear my pants that don't zip. I started wearing pregnancy pants a couple of weeks ago and love it. So much more comfortable. When your time comes, don't fight it just give in. I'm still too small for maternity tops so I'm wearing looser fitting tops. Since we haven't announced yet ppl have been commenting on my body and the status of my uterus.

Ppl are commenting on your body and uterus? Do they know your trying? Last time my bump was just starting with two I think this time it's will take that much longer which is fine at this point. Have u been doing the weekly bump pics?

Last time one I was close to buying maternity jeans but didn't want to jinx it and the worst happened anyway. Hoping I will find some good sales on them. With the added wait from all the cycles they're already tough to wear.

I have to tell you you that I had a wedding to go to and I can't tell you how long it took me to get ready!! Adding kids into the mix is goon be great and time consuming

my nausea also kicked in yesterday so that didn't help the process!!

@mrsa2017 your first bw is cycle day 8? Really? They will
have you start stemming prior or u just mean now? It's usually done on day 2 or 3 why I'm asking!

@Hopeful_mom since we travel to Barbados for the cycle, I'll start stimming at home then fly there. They average out 10 days for the whole trip (Last stim days, ER & ET) then you fly back home after transfer and your OB takes over from there with Beta and stuff. I guess I call them once I get my beta results to say if it... And get further instructions. It'll suck to not see my RE and have US every week like you ladies but I'll try to talk my OB into see me a few times before I turn 12 weeks.

@mrsa2017 Even though I live close to my RE, I only had two US with him. I don't think you will be that far off. I had one at 7 weeks I think and one at 9 weeks.

it's torture!! I'm also nervous cause I have to find a new OB and don't want to jinx that either!!
and how can u work with such rude people!! I have noticeably gained weight going through this process BUT luckily no one has been that rude to say a thing!! That's all I need!
@mrsa2017 definitely ask ur de to see u too or take tests couldn't hurt! Adding travel on top of everything can't be easy!!

@sp128 I for sure thought you would see your RE at least 4 times before you're released to an OB. I actually felt a little upset about me not getting that experience but I guess it won't be a big deal if everything is good with my little Cs.

@Hopeful_mom I'm curious about traveling with my medicine and TSA. Will they make me check them in? OMG I will need to find out since we have security here as well before we get to Florida. It's so cool that your nausea has started and your US is tomorrow... I really hope he has no problem with that but are IVF patients automatically labeled high risk?

@Hopeful_mom I've actually had 3. 2 with RE and 1 was at 14 weeks. It was the NT scan, which I wasn't expecting because my NIPT results were good.

@mrsa2017 Make sure to keep the meds cool if they need it. I'm sure you will get through security just fine. My OB said being an IVF patient made me high risk. I'm also AMA, so there's that too.
