How far along are you? How big is baby?

I am 31 weeks today, that seems so far! According to the Bump baby is a bunch of asparagus?

How are you feeling?

I am feeling like I've been feeling all pregnancy. I just try to take it day by day.

What's going on this week?
I had an all day seminar yesterday and it's a half day today too. My back is killing me from those uncomfortable chairs they have. I'll actually be happy to go back to the office after lunch today.

Rants/Raves/Questions:

Not much in the way of rants other than above. But rave, this weekend is our city's Fall Fest and I can't wait to go with my sweet DD! She's finally old enough to enjoy it.

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why?
I can't wait to use my new carrier. I finally broke down and got the free to grow Tula. We better use it a lot since it's not cheap!

How far along are you? How big is baby? 33 weeks! The size of a pineapple or ferret.

How are you feeling? Huge!

What's going on this week? A huge craft event that I look forward to all year is on Saturday! I cannot wait! They have over 400 vendors and they sell the best kinds of decorative items, baby stuff, and anything else you can imagine!

Rants/Raves/Questions: I’m getting a massage this morning and I cannot wait!

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why? Oooh probably all the baby clothes I can’t stop buying! I can’t wait to see her in all these cute outfits. I also can’t wait to learn how to use the fancy DSLR while taking 9,000 pictures of said cute outfits

Same as @jlemons. Taking it day by day. 55 days to go.

What's going on this week?

Just trying to continue unpacking and getting through my to do list that seems to grow daily. I have 11 more business days of commuting to work before I work from home until LO is born. I just want to get through my to do list before then so I can concentrate on work and maybe relax a little bit. We have a wedding this Sunday and I'll prob take DS1 to a little farm Saturday for some farm activities. Me on a hayride should be hilarious right now haha

other than my baby carriers (ergo, Tula and I bought a Sakura Bloom), I'm excited for my newborn pics. I
Bought some props Already - I'm photo obsessed. We did a firefighter theme for DS1 and will stick with baseball for LO.

How are you feeling?

I’ve had a cold this week and the episode with shortness of breath. Everything feels heavy and I just feel pregnancy so much more with this one that with dd. But I’m good! Ha.

What's going on this week?

I was in fall break this week and it was wonderful. I don’t want to go back to work. I got the nursery painted and we are putting the crib together tomorrow.
We are taking DD to a fall festival tomorrow morning. The weather is perfect right now.

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why?
maybe my ergo. I had it with DD1 but I didn’t use it. I am also excited about our sit me up seat. I always thought dd would if liked one. Obviously I won’t be using it for a few months. Also excited about my spectra 2. Haha. I’ve just heard such great things about it.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 33 weeks. The app says "celery" but I'm pretty sure he's roughly godzilla-sized.

How are you feeling? Anxious. We're mentally adjusting to the reality that he may be a Thanksgiving baby, and also that the uncertainty with my startup has headed into the "when did you last update your resume" zone. I keep telling myself that all I need to know is whether we have access to COBRA for Dec, because we can totally handle the rest of it, but... I have moments when I'm straight up freaking out over here. Totally uncool when I cannot have beer, or coffee, or carbs to help cope.

What's going on this week? CDE appointment yesterday (all good news!), first NST next Thursday.

Rants/Raves/Questions: DH is awesome, but he keeps putting non-baby stuff into the nursery, right when I've gotten the floor space cleared out again, and I can't figure out why. It's like he doesn't realize we're painting it tomorrow, and therefore all that crap has to go somewhere else this evening/tomorrow am. WHY make it harder? (Disclaimer: DH does not deserve my grumpiness. He's doing an amazing job.)

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why? I am super excited to start reading with him as soon as possible. I may have already started reading his books to him in the evenings, when we have a bit of time and he's on the quiet side.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 32 weeks with di/di twins--squash

How are you feeling? Just sore and large. But happy we've made it to 32 weeks and can deliver at our preferred hospital now (where I work) and with my OB (they only deliver at one hospital).

What's going on this week? I just had an appointment with the GD specialist on Monday, and the increased my insulin on Thursday when I called in with my numbers. Next week I start twice a week BPPs and OB/MFM appointments.

Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm so happy to have made it to 32 weeks and I feel good about how I'm feeling and hoping we can go another 6 weeks until our scheduled c-section. I've mostly just been exhausted and I'm having a hard time getting work done at home. I have a few more things I need to do for my work in order to prepare for being on maternity leave, and hope to have everything finished by next week.

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why? I am super excited about the City Select Double Baby Jogger. It was my 'dream' stroller and we got it along with all the necessary attachments to make it a double. I can't wait to use it!

I didn't realize how many due date buddies we have at 31 weeks today!

How far along are you? How big is baby? 31 weeks, asparagus.

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Still sleeping without the use of my snoogle and mostly sleeping through the night. I feel a bit more pressure, which my doctor assured me was normal.

What's going on this week? It's Friday! My mom is taking my twins tonight and tomorrow night overnight. So we are going on a date tonight and going to look at house fixtures,etc (we are building a new house) tomorrow during the day. Looking forward to getting some of that done before the baby comes.

Rants/Raves/Questions: As of 10:47 pm tonight, I will have officially made it longer this pregnancy than I did with my last pregnancy. I had my twins at 31 weeks exactly!

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why? I ordered a new wildbird ring sling and am looking forward to using it. I don't baby wear much now, because it's just too hard with twins!

Just a warning, due to the rants section this post is a doozy!

How far along are you? How big is baby? 32 weeks, Florida Pomelo

How are you feeling? Not bad, although it’s definirely harder to breath at times (likely when this little guy has his feet up in my lungs). I’m feeling ready to have my body back to myself haha.

What's going on this week? I have my final ultrasound on weds (booo!) and might also be on strike for half the week(the union and my employer are apparently at an impasse regarding wages and benefits). Work will finally continue on our bathroom (See rants...) and tomorrow my friend is hosting a “pie fest” - can’t wait to eat ALL the pie!!

Rants/Raves/Questions: the contractor told us on Tuesday that they found asbestos in the drywall of our bathroom when they demoed it on Monday. They had to halt work until abatement and testing were done and, oops, they forgot to tell us we shouldn’t have stayed in the house Monday night (they know I’m pregnant!!). The abatement guy used our master bathroom and accidentally locked our two cats away from their food and in our bedroom for 12 hours, so we came home to our bed covered in cat pee (thank goodness I had a waterproof cover on the bed), but more insultingly, my snoogle was peed on!!! Because our washer and dryer are part of the bathroom remodel we have no way to wash anything, so we spent Wednesday night at the laundry mat with half a dozen homeless guys who reeked and were using the dryers to dry their dirty sleeping bags (ick). To add insult to injury, the fancy Diono car seat I bought was recalled today....the day it was delivered to us. We’ve definitely had better weeks! Haha.

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why? I made a bunch of “moby wraps” when I found out we were pregnant, we are both really excited to snuggle baby in them and go for walks! I’m also excited to see if the wool soakers I made actually work.

How are you feeling?

BIG, and all things associated with big...uncomfortable, irritable, lower back pains, pelvic pains, fatigue, etc.

What's going on this week?

I'm a STM. I had polyhydramous with my first pregnancy and I feel like I may have it again. I carry very high, and I grow big babies. My uterus has stretched a lot these past two weeks

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why?. I don't have gestational diabetes and everything is fine with the baby's development. My uterus just seems to get huge during pregnancy.due to high water levels. I have my next OB appointment on Monday, so I'll ask for a scan of my fluid then. I've just popped these past two weeks and I'm starting to feel similarly as when I was pregnant with my DS...who ended up being a 10lb baby.

Rants/Raves/Questions:

I had a cecerian with my DS. He'll be 2 in Jan, and I was really hoping to have a VBAC with this next baby in December. I just hope I can, but I also trust my doctors judgement. Having to schedule a cecerian will feel like a let down, and I'm just feeling a little defeated since it really feels like we may have to go that route. I'll know more on Monday after my OB appointment.

Also, it really irks me that my DH tonight said that he'd like more kids after this. I work full time in a demanding job that I've spent years and graduate school to attain. My DH works a blue color seasonal job in the fire service. He ultimately wants to be a stay at home dad with lots of kids. Im not thrilled at the concept of being the sole breadwinner - I'd rather share that role. We aren't young either. I'm 35 and he's 37. Pregnancies are proving to be tough on my body, and I work full time up to my due date, and will return after 12 weeks of unpaid maternity leave. I just want to have this baby first before we even think about another one. The urgency of this comment is that my DH, who is a wonderful man, very unsensitively said that if I don't want more kids, than I should get my tubes tied. It really made me mad that he suggested that to me. Im not really to make such a permanent decision. It was just a bit shocking that after being the person who sacrifices their body to bear children, that I would also be the one responsible for family planning too. I was so mad about this statement and we ended up having stern words and now I'm just annoyed with him. Ahh! I just needed to vent.

GTKY: Of all the baby things you have, what are you most excited to use, and why? I've been knitting sweaters and booties for the new baby. I'm most excited to have him wear those.
