1) How far along are you? How big is baby? I am now at 32 weeks.....WOW!

3) How are you feeling? Kinda crummy! I am having a lot of pelvic pain, which is going into the groin. This is making walking after sitting difficult!

4) Any appointments this week/last? Yes I have a regular check up later this afternoon! Don't think it will be really any different than the last two check ups!

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: Braxton Hicks contractions are starting to set in...HOLY COW! I had the worst one yet the other day when I was sleeping, and I instantly thought I was going to throw up. Thank goodness it only last a minute or two! If this is what labor is like but worse....OH BOY......Rave: I FINALLY ordered a maternity belly band, and hopefully it will arrive today! I CAN'T WAIT! Hoping it relieves some abdominal/pelvic pressure!

6) GTKY: What are you most excited about preparing for the baby's arrival, what are you least excited about? I don't have the nursery done yet, so I am still very excited to get all of this set up, as well as the bassinet in our bedroom. I am LEAST excited about preparing for maternity leave, such as dealing with my work to set up short term disability. I am already getting the run around and no one is giving me ANY clear direction!

@Mandayno I'm interested to see if you like the support belt. I've heard it can help get baby head down (see my rant below haha) Sorry work is giving you a hard time. My boss has been kind of ridiculous about it but I don't like her and I'm so excited to gtfo of here for mat leave that I don't care!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
32 weeks: jicama, pomelo, hard hat (this week is weird lol)

3) How are you feeling?
Feels like baby went through another growth spurt and is running out of room! Every day I wake up and I'm like, I can't believe there's so much growing left to do! So with that comes a little more huffing and puffing to move around or reposition myself, and my hips are hurting more quickly while sleeping. Totally worth it for this LO though

4) Any appointments this week/last?
Check-up on Tuesday. I'm getting concerned about baby's position. I swear s/he's transverse (on their back with legs in the air toward my right lung) or oblique (with head in my left hip) or keeps going back and forth. It felt like s/he was head down for maybe one day last week but basically every day when I wake up in the morning it feels like back to transverse. My ob made it sound before like she wouldn't even bother checking position for another month, but the Spinning Babies website makes it sound like by 36 weeks there's so much less room to do anything about it. Like, right now I could be doing inversions or whatever to help.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave: We received our first baby gifts this week (from out of town relatives). So exciting and takes me back to when we got married and starting getting gifts before the wedding

Rant: Basically just stressed about baby's position. I go back and forth, being chill about it one day then wanting to cry the next because I have no idea what to do and I feel like I have no support from my doc on it. And every single fucking woman around me is having ultrasounds for whatever reason and I haven't seen baby for 14 weeks and will not until delivery. I really hate having no information.

6) GTKY: What are you most excited about preparing for the baby's arrival, what are you least excited about?
Most: Preparing the nursery is a welcome distraction. Because we're lazy and cheap, I've never overhauled and decorated a whole room before, so far it's been a lot of fun. I just hope it comes out really cute and look forward to it being a kind of haven in our busy home.
Least: Preparing the rest of the house. We just have so much stuff, so little storage space. It's stressful to purge but then it's still stressful trying to figure out where to put what's left. We have random piles of stuff and junk drawers everywhere. And every room is going to need a bit of shuffling to fit baby stuff as well (a cabinet in the kitchen, a shelf in the bathroom, a few shelves in the hall closet, a play nook in the living room, etc).

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 27 weeks today! They are the size of Lettuce, Bunch of Bananas, Camping Lantern and a Fennec Fox... geesh! I think they exaggerate a little.

2) Sex/name of your LO? Two girls! Names are up in the air (again!!!)

3) How are you feeling? Today I'm feeling pretty bad. Officially starting to feel pregnant. Drained, sore, just....not myself LOL.

4) Any appointments this week/last? MFM tomorrow, can't wait to see my girls!!

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: DH. Rave: Nursery is almost done!

6) GTKY: What are you most excited about preparing for the baby's arrival, what are you least excited about? Most Excited: Celebrating with loved ones! I just want to bask in the glow and joy of being pregnant.

Lease Excited: Checklists...I don't even know where to start.

FTM and I feel like I've failed already.

I am feeling full,a bit sad. He is still sitting high so my ribs are getting kicked

My dear mother has decided I don't get a baby shower because I am being picky with what I want. I say at least have a party with games no gifts needed. This is my first maybe only child give me the experience

6) GTKY: What are you most excited about preparing for the baby's arrival, what are you least excited about?
I can't wait for the baby's room to be cleared out so I can start putting stuff in. Probably least excited about labor haha.

@thunderbunnyhunny Oh dear, sorry your mom is being so mean. I think part of being thrown a shower though is that you kind of have to go along with what the host wants to do, and only give input when asked. OR pick one or two things and express those preferences in as tactful way as possible. Is there anyone else who could throw it, like a sister, friend, aunt, cousin?

Or if you and your SO have a friend couple who could throw you a co-ed bash?

really good. I was actually able sleep in till 7 this morning... sad that 7 feels like a sleep in at this point.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Last week had an OB check up and growth scan. Placenta pervia is still present. But everything else is on track.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant: walking up to leg cramps are back full force. Rave: DW has been amazing and has really been taking a lot on around the house to help out.

6) GTKY:
Most excited about.... getting this little one here and seeing his little face. Least excited about... the whole labor thing, well mostly the family and the hospital. This is the first grandchild on both sides and our families are really exited but we also want to make sure we have at least an hour just the three of us before everyone joins us.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 30 weeks- size of a summer cantaloupe, zucchini, platypus (how are all these the same size?!)

2) Sex/name of your LO? Girl- Elizabeth!

3) How are you feeling? Tired allllll the time, can't be on my feet too much, but good otherwise. Some mild heartburn. Appetite has gone way down and haven't had any cravings in a while- I feel full all the time and nothing sounds good to eat (except cereal).

4) Any appointments this week/last? I had a routine prenatal appt. earlier in the week (all good!) and another the end of next week.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave- Just getting excited! I can't believe I'll be meeting baby girl in 70 days or less- 3/4 of the way there! Rant- My boss is driving me crazy again- he's constantly in my personal space, strolls into my office unannounced and rummages through my drawers to find things, gets up close with nasty coffee breath, etc. Really thinking I won't come back after maternity leave ends, but I'm not shutting any doors just yet.

6) GTKY: What are you most excited about preparing for the baby's arrival, what are you least excited about? Most excited- completing her nursery (it's 75% of the way there). It's such a cute room- I've been sitting in the glider and reading every night before bed just because I love being in there. Least excited- recovery after delivery. Pads, padsicles and hemorrhoids- ugh.

We are not finding out. We have names but we are not saying.

3) How are you feeling?
Right now not so hot. Dinner did not sit well and I got to see it come back up. I'm looking forward to the day I'm no longer throw up.

4) Any appointments this week/last?
Nope, my next appt is Wed.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Sleeping is getting hard. My stomach hurts when I lay down and only seems to feel better when I'm on my left side. Which would be fine but I have a hard time staying there because my side goes numb. Plus waking up to pee 3 times a night... On a plus note

the zantac is helping greatly!!!!

6) GTKY: What are you most excited about preparing for the baby's arrival, what are you least excited about?
I'm excited about surprising my SO at our baby shower. I'm getting him https://tacticalbabygear.com/collections/diaper-bags (not sure which one yet) and the baby carrier. I'm know he will be happy and I feel like he will have more of a part instead of just opening the usual stuff that us girls get excited for. Other then that I will be happy to get the nursery up and going once we get back in out place... Hopefully by the end of this month...

Its a surprise.

3) How are you feeling?

Pretty good. Getting up a lot at night so tired at work. Going to switch from my office chair to a Swiss ball next week to keep my hips looser. Also seeing a new chiropractor just to keep everything aligned.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Had a regular appointment Wednesday. Baby insists on hiding behind the annoying anterior placenta and kicking the doppler. They hate that thing but the location of my placenta and my extra padding is making it hard to use the fetoscope.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Lovely fall rain today. So nice, my second favorite season.
I know I should be enjoying all of this pregnancy but I really just want to get to 37 weeks so that I know we can do this homebirth and can stop worrying about preterm labor.

6) GTKY: What are you most excited about preparing for the baby's arrival, what are you least excited about?
I am least excited about getting work things together for maternity leave. Just tons to do and we are so understaffed, ugh.
I am most looking forward to sorting through the diaper stash and finding all that newborn fluff.

@whiska so far I like how it feels on my belly, but the bottom of it rolls up constantly and I feel like I'm fighting it all the time haha... But it's actually really comfortable so I deal with it. I got the Blanqi brand.

@ridedatide I LOVE the tactical stuff!! My DH actually had found those and wants them!!!

@Mandayno What do the Braxton Hicks feel like? I've questioned if I have felt them. Not really sure off what I read.

@whiska I know what you mean about feeling like baby is out of room and questioning how its going to continue to grow. At times i feel baby both down low and up high at the same time. Makes me think if there are actually 2 in there. Today I've felt like baby is way far on my right side. I hope this baby gets into position soon I'm so nervous that baby will not behave... I was also told they would not check until 36 weeks.

@britmanering73 Dont worry about checcklist I've learned as a teacher no one is perfect and checklist can get crazy.

@ridedatide the best way I can describe how mine have felt, are almost like Charlie horses in your stomach. I believe they are "sometimes" only on one side or the other, not the entire stomach...but not sure how factual that is. Those have been how mine were. Mine have only lasted about 30-60seconds at a time.

@whiska I also forgot to mention baby positioning. I too know exactly what you mean about worrying how baby is positioned. I have asked my doctor about this too and she said that she won't even check position until 36wk. She said baby will change position so many times between now and then, that it won't matter what position the baby is in today. The ironic thing is before I asked her I was so afraid baby was head up, and literally within a day or two of me asking about it I am pretty sure baby then decided to go head down.....for now. So again, I know exactly how you feel, but I have been working on just relaxing about it and letting baby do what he will naturally do! There is such a small percentage that baby will not go head down.
