I am mostly pissed at myself. So exhausted that I sometimes fall asleep when I sit in a chair :'( nothing sounds good to eat, I am having a rough time cooking. SO has been cooking more which is nice but I feel bad about it. I feel like a horrible mom. Finally got around to filling out the background check for volenteering at the kiddos school, apparently they changed the program and I hadn't been paying attention so needing to fill out another background check even though I was approved in April. The teacher was sad cuz she wants me to hell for the vision and hearing screenings on Thursday. I hope I get passed by then and she needs me in the afternoon. And well I am horrible. I didn't make my son do any homework today. It's not due till Friday but he gets a pack of like 12 pages of homework once a week. He's gunna hate me tomorrow when I make him do like 4. Actually I am gunna hate it, it will be war!
I miss wine right now. Actually I miss even wanting wine. I have an aversion to everything right now especially alcohol.
I don't know how you working gals get through the day! Hell I don't remember how I did it while working the first time now either. I have loads of respect for ya all!

I remember on my baby moon w 1st kid (6-7 months along) a woman stopped me on the street and asked how far along I was. I told her and she said "so you're having twins!" I said "no. Just one." She proceeded to try to convince me that my doctor was wrong, I was wrong and I must be having twins. She walked away shaking her head in disgust. I promptly burst into tears. Ok, there was sobbing. Jerk lady.
My bff is on my bitch list today. I love her but every time we go on vacation, she drives me NUTS. Her kids wake up at 6am and woke the whole house up every time. EXCEPT HER. So she sleeps in while the rest of us have to wrangle her kids. I spent the whole weekend watching her kids. If they were napping I was back at the house while she was out at the beach. So it was a wasted trip.

People thinking it is ok to straight out ask if I’m pregnant because I have a “pouch.” I kindly respond that the pouch is left from my first baby and I’ve lost 10 pounds this pregnancy. When I want to tell people my news I will! Pregnant or not, I don’t like to be called fat!
That's some bullshit. I don't think I've ever cried harder in my life than when I was two weeks postpartum and had lost over twenty five pounds and the cashier at the gas station asked him when the baby was due. I started crying in front of him and haven't gone back to that gas station to this day.
When I was two weeks PP with my first, I was shopping for nursing bras in Soma. With my baby. The girl asked when I was due. You can't fix stupid.
My son was FOUR days old in a carrier and we were going for a check up at the doctors. The receptionist "you're going to have our hands full soon! Two babies so close in age!" He exclaimed!

Same woman I griped about last week. She's in tears because she did not get the full four hours to plan storytime today. I want to pull my hair out. Four hours to plan a storytime. How is that even possible? What it translates to is "I don't have to do any shelving or take any responsibility because I have storytime." Lady, this is the children's department-we ALL have storytime. And crap still has to get done. Also (surprise) you are a clerk and expected to shelve. I am a department head and I shelve every stinking day. Your number one job is to shelve-read the discription!
That person would never survive a school. All the shelving, all the planning, all the story time, all the everything.
When I worked in a bookstore, no one would clean/organize the kids section because it was "too much work." Ummmm..... YOU WORK IN A BOOKSTORE. GET USED TO IT.

@zaclina, I got size comments from strangers all last pregnancy. They'd ask how far I was and I'd tell them. They would then say I'm way too big for that far along and I'd explain I was pregnant with twins. Then I'd get told I'm way too small and need to eat more. People just need their opinion to be heard no matter how dumb it is.
I remember buying a set of 5 white plain onesies for a project for our announcement photos and they were newborn size. The woman behind me said I was wasting my money because no kid is born that small and whoever I was giving it to would realize I knew nothing about baby birth sizes. I explained they were for me and for the twins I was currently pregnant with and she still procedded to explain they'd be too big and "you'll see I'm right". Well she was wrong. So so wrong. My kids were born a month early and are still in the appropriate clothes sizes for their age.
There is just something about a pregnant woman to makes people (mostly other women who have had children from my experience) run their mouths. And you can't be too snippy with them or they'll blame your hormones which will really send you over the edge. I really hate people, haha. I think I stopped going out in public alone after 7 months because I was too big to hold my tongue with strangers and I didn't want to go to jail.
A few weeks ago (7.5 weeks) I got a bloody nose on an airplane and the stewardess was asking if I got them frequently. I told her no it’s probably because I’m pregnant. She was like “oh! Yeah I can kinda see something...” Hmmm....yeah I had zero signs of a baby bump.
I was huge with DD2. Lots of fluid, big baby and massive placenta. People would walk up to me and comment on how big my belly was and I would just stare at them and not say a word, watching as they started to squirm and struggle to come up with something else to say. Seriously, when people offend you, just stare them down. It's delicious....

Nope, wrong again. Now I refuse to wear the dress I had on ever again. Geeze can't people wear loose empire style dresses without being asked if they are pregnant?!
The place I ordered my maternity "reveal" shirt from for work (it is just a shirt with a picture of a bun in an oven- nothing groundbreaking).... DOES NOT COME IN MATERNITY SIZING. Like, what? Who wants a regular sized shirt with a freaking bun in an oven on the belly?

I bought a maxi dress last time and had it delivered to the office. It was not a maternity maxi. Just you average run of the mill dress I bought for a wedding shower. a few weeks later I announced my pregnancy at the office and a girl was like I knew you were pregnant when you got that maxi dress!

@JenniatONU seriously! This woman...things will change soon, one way or the other. No one thinks what she does is okay, but no one wants to make a 64 year old woman cry, and she knows it I think. I've done school and public library, and I was always running around like crazy. I will freely admit that I find public to be easier, though.

@mommabmb To be fair, I got one of those maternity skeleton shirts to announce, and got it specifically non-maternity because I’ll only be 14 weeks and don’t think I’ll fit maternity shirts until well into the 2nd trimester.

I got asked if I was having twins so many times at the end of my pregnancy. There was definitely crying involved.
