So, this weekend was incredible. Yesterday we went to Stone Barns Farm in Tarrytown, NY for its annual Harvest Fest. We live in the city now, but I have dreams of owning a small farm with chickens, goats, and bees....so this farm is one of my fave places. We went with one of my closest friends, her husband, *TW* and their 3yo daughter *End TW* and it was the best time. It was 80 degrees (WTF??), but we still did hayrides and hung with the chickens and the sheep, but the grand finale was the Turkey Parade. I sooo wish I knew how to share a video of the parade on here...it was THAT funny. Alas, still shots are in the spoiler.
Secondly, I wanted to share photos of my glitter pumpkins! I promised these in my intro post and I totally forgot to post them. This year I went with a Beetlejuice/witchy vibe for them. (Pics are GINORMOUS in the spoiler. So sorry!!)
My friend and I just did this new craft for the first time. It is wine corks drilled out and then we inserted air plants and glued magnets on the back. I really love them. It is hard for me to have plants in this tiny apartment, so they're perfect. (also YUUUGE, so in spoiler)
Finally, I selfishly want to share pics of my adorable tomato plants starting to sprout their first tomatoes. I'm so excited for them to get ripe, but I'm already threatening my friends that they'll have to take some because we'll have SO MANY! #urbangarden

@jrm_14 @dukestar5 I can't burn any fancy candles because DH gets major headaches from strong scents. It makes me so sad. Please burn some candles for me!

DH has been working on turning his office into a dark room- which is fine, except a lot of the processing now gets done in my kitchen sink. He decided to start some work while I was on the phone and now all the surfaces I typically use to cook on are covered in photography chemicals...after I spent the whole day cleaning. It's not like I was trying to prep his dinner and lunches. I kind of want to take everything I cooked and throw it out- that kind of mood today.
