I'm glad to see this! My husband is set on a jogging stroller since we like to go on walks regularly and the roads/sidewalks in our neighborhood are kind of on the rough side plus hopefully down the road baby will like coming with us to tailgates and events when the weather is nice. Jogging strollers also seems easier to steer. Does anyone have a favorite jogging stroller and if so is it really worth the money? We are one and done so we would only be using this stroller for this baby.

We haven't picked one out yet and would love ideas. We live very rural so all we've decided for now is that it HAS to be all terrain (and double/twin). If anyone has any all terrain doubles they swear by I'd love to hear about it. I've tried to do my usual "what has the fewest chemicals" approach and didn't come up with any clear winners yet in my searches.
We are debating between the Mountain Buggy Duet and the Double Bob. We tested out the Double Bob last weekend at Buy Buy Baby and MH LOVES it. I think we are leaning towards the Bob honestly because of the wheels.
We already have the Mountain Buggy MB Mini which is awesome because it’s light enough to gate check. I love it. We are considering selling ours and buying the new version because it folds up smaller than ours and have some other new features we like.
I also have the Mountain Buggy Nano at my parents house—it’s basically a nicer version of the umbrella stroller and even my 6’ dad says it’s comfortable to push. It folds down small enough to be a carryon on the plane if you wanted.
We have an Urbini umbrella stroller for quick trips and light use. It’s my favorite. We also have a Chicco stroller for the infant car seat, but it’s bulkier and heavy. More storage, so good for trips to the zoo and museums. They both drive equality smooth
I really wanted the city mini double (GT- Canadian winters lol) but it won't support two car seats at once and that's a must for me. I've done sooo much research on this now because a stroller is the one thing I've never splurged on and I've bought like 3 second hand one so and regretted it.
That being said, I've decided to go with the mountain buggy duet. It holds the car seats, it is as wide as a single stroller basically, so no shopping or door issues but it is also made for outdoors which is key for us.
See, and @syssa-o that’s why I’m leaning towards the Duet but MH loved how easy it was to push the Bob and that the handle was height adjustable. I also like that the Duet has the free rider option too for when we have a third kid and DS doesn’t want to walk or gets tired. I wish I could let him see a Duet and a Bob side by side.
We just bought this a couple weeks ago and I love it- it's an evenflo pivot modular. I love all the options of using it bassinet style, umbrella stroller, or the car seat fits and it can face forward or back.
I am looking for easiest to maneuver. Single or double. Any recommendations? With all my kids, I find maneuvering a hard stroller makes life 10 times harder.
I have an Uppababy Vista, and while it's pricey, we LOVE it. I got a separate caddy stroller to use with the infant car seat (ie it clicks in and was super light/foldable) which worked well for quick trips.
@vflux33 For twins, my best friend wanted a side by side and got the Baby Jogger City Mini Double and also loves it. Not sure how all terrain it is. I'd check out this link for twin stroller recommendations and they point out some all terrain ones too: https://www.lucieslist.com/best-strollers-twins/
@mdfarmchick my H isn't a super tall guy.... just under 6' so I feel like he would be okay with the MBD, but he's giving me the reins on this because in my town, everything is fairly walkable so I avoid using the car when I can walk. So I use the stroller A LOT. He just wants me to pick one that will check off my list. So I get to be a little bit selfish
@syssa-o MH and I are basically the same height—5’7”—but with the Mini the handle is just slightly lower than I think either of us would prefer and he loved how pushing the Bob he didn’t kick the basket underneath. It’s just a slightly different design and there were little tweaks that he wishes our current stroller had.
@mdfarmchick you've got me curious about the bob, to be honest. I'm only 5'5 and when I pushed the MBD it was fine for me, but everyone has good things to say about the bob so maybe I'll go try it out just to see. Thanks
We have the single city mini for my first & loved it so was looking at the double for my second but concerned about how soon the second can go in there even with an infant insert. Anyone have any info on this? we also had the snap @ go with Chico infant car seat which was amazing in first few months
I don't know a lot about strollers. But for those considering jogging strollers, make sure you get one with a front wheel that pivots instead of being locked. Mine is locked and I haaaaaate it. Definitely investing in a new one this time!
We'll be going with the city select double this time. One thing to consider that I had thought about and wish I had actually done... if you think you may have two kiddos close in age, look into double strollers now (especially while you have people that will be shopping off a registry for you!). For example, the city select has the option to be a single and then you can purchase the second seat down the road. I really wish we had done this since now we need another stroller and not sure if we'll ever use our single again, which also wasn't cheap...
We chose bumbleride for a number of reasons (they are eco-friendly, easy to clean, made really well, etc.) the biggest reason for buying the speed model was because the front wheel lock offered 3 different options: full 360 swivel, locked and 30 degree swivel. The 30 degree swivel allows you to run with your stroller and have some front wheel movement without tipping the stroller. The front wheel locked is annoying, but as I understand it, is intended to prevent the stroller from tipping over. So this was kind of a game changer for me because as a running Mom I hate running with a jogging stroller. This stroller has made it less painful for me.
Now, we are having twins so I’m going with the bumbleride twin stroller with a board attachment. The twin is suitable for newborns as is so no attachments necessary. I’m hoping I’m as happy with it as I have been with the the speed, but I don’t see myself using the twin as a jogging stroller.
Right now we’re leaning towards the City Mini GT but haven’t been to see them in person yet. We also have friends and family that have the Bob and Uppababy strollers and they love them. I have no idea what we’re going to do! I just want something that’s versatile - so I can use it running/walking with the dog, at festivals, and around town.

yes! However, you might want to purchase the second seat now even if you won’t be using it for some time. We got the Britax b ready before DD was born and used it as a single and planned to use it as a double once we had another. After we got pregnant I started looking to purchase the second seat but since the model is 3 years old now they no longer sell the second seat that is compatible with our stroller! I ended up selling the Britax on a Facebook page and I’m going to put the money toward a city select double. Just something to consider if you’re thinking ahead.

We have this, and I just don't like it. I feel like it looks uncomfortable, the infant adapter felt sooooo unsafe, and it's not super swell to maneuver.
eta: by "this" I mean the Citi Mini GT. Do not like.

The stroller I like/use the most is the cheap Chicco KeyFit caddy. It's light, easy, and has huge storage at the bottom. It makes me want to use my infant car seat as long as possible.
I do want a double, so I think I'm going with the Chicco Cortina. It looks like a double version of my beloved Keyfit Caddy LOL. It can be configured for the infant seat and a toddler and then eventually two toddlers.

@bettyvonsomethingstein is the Chicco Keyfit caddy easy to close and put away? It seemed like it was lightweight and I want to use my infant seat as long as possible.

CFord, yes. The latch is actually on the handlebar so you don't even have to bend down. I use it every day right now to get my kids from the parking lot into daycare. My LO rides and his big brother pushes, which is pretty adorable.

@DDRRT1982 Not for a full feature/all terrain double stroller, no. There may be other stroller companies that are chemical conscious but I decided to go with the bumbleride and move on to research other things (because of having to research twin friendly stuff too it all just gets overwhelming so when I make a decision about a product I try to move on before my eyes glaze over). We are also getting the joovy twin roo car seat stroller (the bumbleride doesn't appear to be compatible with the uppababy henry car seats and the joovy is only like 100$ on Amazon), which is not low chemical (that I'm aware of) but we figure if you have a flame retardant free car seat(s) going into that and that's what their heads are going to be breathing in and up against all the time then we're not as concerned about the pieces that are physically further away from their faces (also the joovy twin roo car seat stroller doesn't look like it has much fabric that could be treated with chemicals).
I have made some decisions on a few other products based on chemical fears--low chemical versions of cribs, organic mattresses, and pack and plays if anyone is interested in seeing those, but wasn't planning on posting them in this particular thread. Feel free to ask me here or PM though if you want to hear those
I will PM you. I thought I was aware of chemical exposure, but apparently I have stuff to learn. You said it above it gets overwhelming, so I appreciate you giving me jumping off points.
@DDRRT1982 Honestly I am learning this as I go too and if it weren't for MH knowing about chemicals and my mom friend IRL who is also terrified of chemicals I wouldn't know what to look for at all. I'm continually annoyed at how much energy it's taking to figure out which individual products and companies are making an effort in this department. There should really be a database or something. But yes, you (and anyone else) can feel free to PM me anytime. I am not an expert in this sort of thing, but I am taking the time to research this stuff a lot and there's no use in all of us repeating those same efforts!
I have a 2015 city mini double side by side which I'm selling and buying a new model so it's compatible holding my graco car seat. I LOVE this stroller. I use it daily walking 2 miles on our country road and at the mall. I even use it when I just have 1 kid because it's easy to maneuver and easy to opem/close.
@bb3vj3n Do you have a baby store by you? If so, go talk to a sales person about what you're looking to use it for and test some out. You'll get a feel for how they handle and see if there are any glaring issues (like handle bar height if you or your DH is tall).
I'm feeling overwhelmed with finding a double stroller that'll work. I think I have to give up on my carseat clicking in and may have to do a bassinet attachment. Unless I spring for the Bob. But I'm going to make DH go to BuyBuyBaby with me to do some test drives.

@becausescience yes - I do. I just feel like I need someone to come with me to translate... lol.
in all seriousness though- unless it's fashion, I have a difficult time committing to products. especially important purchases (a.k.a everything baby) so I need DH or someone close to help me stop fussing and decide. so far I haven't been able to find time to go that DH can come with me.
I'm sorry you are having trouble with the double stroller. sounds complicated! wish I could offer some advice , but as I think I've made clear - I'm kind of useless in this particular category
@bb3vj3n Oh I totally get that. I read so many reviews for all the big baby purchases. Something could have thousands of 5 star reviews and then I'd read one that wasn't great and would be totally rethinking that product. I'd for sure see if your DH could come, but the sales staff can probably help "translate." Or if you have a BTDT sister or friend that wouldn't mind tagging along.

@bb3vj3n I went to Babies R Us with a friend who has an 18 month old and is pregnant with her second and she helped me set up a "draft" registry. It has most of the basics on there and then as I settle on a specific item after researching and asking more friend then I would modify the registry to specifically suit my needs. I am with @becausescience and recommend going with a sister or friend if at all possible! I am bringing my husband in a week or two to see what he likes style wise and will also adjust the registry if he decides he doesn't like things in a certain color or something.

@bb3vj3n, that's the stroller we have and we LOVE it!!!!!! I love that it has so many different positions for baby, and I can tell you I've used each and every position! I also love love LOVE that you can remove the toddler part and just use the bucket seat in the frame. It makes it so lightweight and fantastic especially in those early newborn stages. And the basket is huge compared to some! That is also a plus. And the one handed fold is also super convenient.
