GTKY - Netflix/Hulu/Amazon recommendations

I hope this is allowed! I noticed a couple people discussing this topic on another GTKY thread and I’m looking for some new shows to watch and figured others are too!

My favorites:

Comedies - The Office (I could, and do, watch it over and over), How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Recreation, The Mindy Project

Dramas - Bones, Blue Bloods, Downton Abbey, The Crown, Quantico

Guilty Pleasures - Felicity (90s college show), Escape to the Country (British House Hunters), Reign

    You guys are reminding me of so many great shows!

     I'm a big Gilmore Girls and Castle fan. I could/have watched those over and over again! I like the old school Greys Anatomy (I'm so so about the newer ones). We like Brooklyn 99, New Girl, Suits, and The Good Place.

     I forgot about, but love Criminal Minds! I don't think I've seen all of them but they're great! I also like Parenthood a lot.

     I've never watched Bones but I want to. I've heard good things about it!

    @JenniatONU Really? I think I got like halfway through and I just got a bit bored. Although Roanoke was one of my top seasons and I know loads of people that thought it was the worst one so maybe I'm just the odd one haha.

    Breaking Bad: was great
    Walking Dead: is amazing!
    Game of Thrones: (though I will say, I didn't realize it was available on any of these... hmm, good to know)
    Supernatural: !!!! I fought my husband on it, said it looked stupid and I don't like anything on WB/CW, finally gave in.... sweet merciful crap, man! Love it! Especially Dean (who my husband has a self admitted man crush on, the character and the actor, lol)
    Stranger Things: can't wait for it to start again
    The Office: always a classic
    Criminal Minds: been a while but it's a favorite
    Santa Clarita Diet: has been good so far, but I'm so nauseous all the time that I can't handle the thought of it right now (and yes, I get the irony that Walking Dead is fine and this isn't lol)
    Dragon Ball: I hate my husband for this lol I don't know if it's on Hulu or Amazon, I don't really use either yet, but I started kind of watching it now and then with him and it turns out I don't hate it... lol

    @Jlr025 @cups4 I’m part way into season 2 of Reign and had to take a break (I binged the whole first season in a few weeks). I like the show but the seasons and episodes are long and there are so many story lines! I definitely am going to come back to finish it though. Since it’s barely historically accurate I have to see how everyone ends up haha

    Oh man how do I choose! I mainly watch shows on Netflix since we don't have Hulu and watch kid's shows on prime but not really anything else.

    Right now I'm watching New Girl again and it cracks me up every time! I also love Friends, The Office, Parks and Rec and well any comedy really.

    As far as drama goes, I love Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, Parenthood, and Downton Abbey. We also watched Bloodline and it's so good though it's pretty violent.

    This thread got me started watching Jane the Virgin, but having had 12 IUIs, it took me a while to get over the inaccuracies in the first episode/main premise of the show. <rant>IT'S NOWHERE NEAR A 20% CHANCE IF YOU DON'T KNOW THAT YOU'RE OVULATING THAT DAY! Oh, and they totally ask you to confirm your donor number and info like 10 times before they do each insemination.</rant> That said, I do know that it's basically the least realistic show ever, so I've moved on and am quite enjoying it. :smile:

    I'm waiting for Mindhunter on Netflix next weekend...shameless plug alert.... but I did some serious extra work on it last summer in my hometown, so I'm looking forward to seeing my episode!
