How far along are you? 29w4d with just one. Seeing only 73 days to go on my ticker change kind of freaks me out a little.

Any appointments this week/last? Nope, not until Monday when I do the 3 hour glucose test.

GTKY: Are you doing or have you done any maternity/family photos? Feel free to share one if you have already! Yes, I have mine planned for Oct. 22. I just need to find something to wear. I'm leaning towards a floral dress or an emerald green dress. I haven't decided if it will be just SO and I or if I will try to involve our twins. If I bring the twins, I'll have to bring my mom too, since we'll need someone to help corral them.

What rants/raves/questions/advice? I'm really considering taking a "me" day sometime at the beginning of November. Just dropping the boys off at daycare and then not doing anything. I really could just use a day in my bed.

How far along are you? 28+1 singelton

Any appointments this week/last? Had appointments yesterday. I passed my GD screen, got the go ahead for a VBAC from the OB and the MW said I was measuring right on track. overall a good day!

GTKY: Are you doing or have you done any maternity/family photos? Feel free to share one if you have already! I have not decided, but I thought it might be fun to do some fall family photos so I might try to get something together.

What rants/raves/questions/advice? @tmk0325 a "me" day sounds AMAZING!
DH survived a whole week alone with the twins. I'm so lucky he was game so I could go to a conference, though I have to say when DS said "mommy come home I need to snuggle" it nearly broke my heart. As crazy as life is with them I would not change it for the world.

Ive got a growth scan Monday, as well as an Appt with my OB. I'm going to gonin on Thursday and do my freaking GD test. I've been putting it off as long as I possibly could.

Nah. I'm not really into that stuff. We will be doing newborn photos though!

What rants/raves/questions/advice?
Ive been crazy busy moving and unpacking and living in a full in construction zone. I'm basically one step above camping right now and I'm trying to relax and not freak out. Some days are easier than others.
We had the girls room painted! It's the sweetest shade of pale pink. I'm going to start setting up furniture in there tomorrow. It's all coming together!

29 +3 with the twins.

My appointment yesterday was with the MFM doctor. Still no good images of Baby B's heart function or kidneys so I've got some concern there. The heart beat itself is on track and we did get images of the umbilical cord for baby b which also looks good. Baby B is the boy and weighs in at 3lb 1 oz and has flipped to breech. Baby A is smaller at 2lb 13 oz, good looks at all the internal organs but no sex confirmation. I'm going with Baby A being our girl as that is what we were told way back in week 18.

My weight is on track for my plus size but my blood pressure continues to slowly creep up.

So after our appointment we went to pay our portion for holding our shower location at the local community center and we went and had an ice cream cone. It was great. The guy that owns the shop was dishing it out. My cone was huge compared to husbands. The owner was like that's on purpose she needs extra for the little one. Then my husband was like extra for the two of them, cause he so happy right now and can't resist telling everyone he comes across.

We are doing photos on the 14 or 15. I need a dress.

Last week just a quick check up with my OB. I start my weekly appointments next week with a growth scan at MFM, then the following week we'll start doing BPP's at my OB.

Yes, weekend before last, I was 30 weeks. We did some as a family, and a few Rainbow Babies shots with just me.

What rants/raves/questions/advice?

Raves: had my shower this past weekend, it was awesome!

Rants: not looking forward to writing thank you cards lol. Baby B is still up in my ribs, and the pain is pretty unbearable at times. I'm at a loss for what to do to make it stop.

Advice: just tell your DH what you need help with or need him to do. I've been getting stressed about keeping up with house work, organizing babies stuff, things we still need to buy, and his brain just doesn't think about all that. So just tell/ask him (and stop expecting him to figure it out)! This might have been more just for me, but it's helped a lot lately

@tmk0325 Even though my doctors refuse to actually give me a cut off date, I'm running on the assumption that the latest these babies will be born is 38 weeks, so I have just under 70 days to go now. So crazy!
@wabash15 Congrats on all of today's good news!
@breezybee That sounds like a nice color for the girls' room. I hope you'll share photos of the nursery once it's all set up!
@stella_700 My colleagues are constantly trying to get me to eat extra food because I'm "feeding 3" and I have close to zero will power when it comes to the cookies, muffins, etc. that constantly seem to be appearing in my office. It's a struggle.
@KathrynJ088 Your photos are beautiful! Also, I love the background with the cool lights and that fort. If that's your backyard I'm really jealous!

I took my 1 hour glucose test this morning, so hopefully I'll get the results back in the next few days! I also had a quick OB appointment last week and met another doctor from the practice. Everything seemed fine and she seemed nice enough, but I kind of miss seeing my regular doctor.

I'm not really interested in doing a full maternity shoot, but I would really like to recreate this photo from my wedding with me sitting in the same tree and my husband and I both with our hands on my bump. I asked on fb for recommendations of photographers near that location (it's about an hour from my house) so I need to reach out to one or two of the people suggested to me. (Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to do the hide/spoiler thing)

@leilagphillips Thanks! Not my backyard, lol. It's one I've driven by since we bought our house, and the tee-pee always caught my eye. It's owned by an older couple that couldn't have been sweeter about taking our photos there.

What happened to your regular doc? I see mine so often that I can't imagine seeing another OB in the practice.

I'm with @breezybee, this is so not me, but I I'm thinking about a newborn photo shoot since we're having twins.

What rants/raves/questions/advice?
Rant: I am about 5 seconds away from buying some Depends

. I really can't take all this peeing. I basically live on the toilet right now. I think I'm going to ask them to check next for a UTI at my Thursday appointment. I also feel like I'm coming down with something. My throat is dry and sore and my nose is super dry. I've thought about using the humidifier we got as a gift for the babies. OK, sorry, rant over.

Rave: We had a great time at our baby shower on Saturday.

Question: Could it be that I'm going through a growth spurt which would explain the sudden and frequent urge to pee? I'm hoping that it will get better...

@clovelyone it could be a growth spurt of one/both of the twins sitting on your bladder. I had to pee all the time with the twins. any time I stood up I'd have to pee and then 5 min later I'd have to pee again (all of 3 drops) but damn the urge to go was strong.
@leilagphillips that is a sweet idea for a photo. (you and your DH are adorable!)
@KathrynJ088 those are beautiful photos
@stella_700 sorry they are still not getting all the images they want of baby B. Though with him growing so well I would think that the chances of there being a problem are really low. Fx your BP doesn't get too high but your so close to 32 weeks that if they had to come early they should be just fine.

@kathrynJ088 That's so nice they let you use their yard! And at my OB/GYN practice they start rotating you through all the different doctors around the start of your 3rd trimester so you can get to know all of them, since you will get whoever's on call when you go into labor (there are 6 of them). I do hope I'll get my regular doctor since I've been seeing him for the last few years.

@wabash15 Thanks! I literally cried because I was so tired last night and couldn't sleep because I had to keep peeing. And it's not like pee and go back to sleep. It's more like pee, wash my hands, sit back down to pee, stay there for a few minutes, wash hands, lay down and get up in another 15-20 minutes later. I might get a 2 hour stretch where I actually sleep without getting up once per night.

@clovelyone I'm so sorry. hopefully those kiddos will shift a bit and give you a bit of a break. its not ideal but could you try to limit your water intake starting an hour or two before bed and see if that helps any?

@wabash15 It's been a little bit better today and I actually had a long nap with few bathroom breaks (about 1/hour). I can deal with that, but that every 20 minutes or so has to go. Wish me luck tonight LOL.

@clovelyone I'm with you on the needing to go to the bathroom CONSTANTLY. Every time I stand I have to go. At night, I am up at least every hour. On top of already sleeping poorly, going to the bathroom so often is NOT helping!

How far along are you? 30w6d with di/di twin boys

Any appointments this week/last? I had my OB appointment last Friday and we scheduled the c-section. I have not had a single appointment this week and it's been glorious. The only thing I had to do is call the gestational diabetes specialists with my MFM to give them my numbers so they could increase my insulin.

GTKY: Are you doing or have you done any maternity/family photos? Feel free to share one if you have already! I don't plan to do maternity photos. It's never something I have personally wanted although I love looking at pics others have done! I want to put the money towards photographs for more milestones for the twins. We booked our newborn photos right when we announced publicly, so I want to put that money towards 3/6/9/12 month photos.

What rants/raves/questions/advice? I am not sleeping well and waking up with more aches than I went to bed with. Walking is a struggle and my back is just aching at this point. I do not think I've had any contractions or BHs. I'm still hoping we can push through and make it to 38 weeks.

@beary67 I'm rooting for you, your nearly to 31 weeks which is awesome!! keep baking those beautiful boys. if there is a specific area that is more sore than others I have found a sock filled with rice or a heating pad helpful when sleeping to ease some of those areas.

I've been MIA the last couple days one of my twins has a fever and we can't figure out where it is coming from or why. It seemed to have come back down this morning, but the last two days he was up towards 102 on and off. You ladies will experience this soon, but it was a really weird sending one of them to daycare and being home with just one of them. The sick one got to spend 4 hours alone with me, that is extremely rare!!

@beary67 omg almost 32 weeks! Yeah, I'm feeling more sore when I wake up now than when I went to bed. This is rough.
AW- here's a quick peek at what's happening in the nursery so far. We have no decor yet, and only one crib put together, but i think it's the cutest thing ever - and I am not usually a pink person. Something has just taken over my decor inspiration lol.

@tmk0325 sorry one of your littles is sick. it really sucks. I also hate that the most frequent times they get one on one time is when one is sick. daycare always says the other one is not the same without their partner in crime present. As much as it is awful to have a sick kid, an excuse to sit home and snuggle the crap out of them are moments I hold on to. I hope he feels better soon.

I'm still peeing less (about once/hour last night), but still quite a bit during the day. I'm not going to complain because that lack of sleep with the every 15-30 minute bathroom run was complete bullshit LOL. I hope it never gets that bad again.

The husband and his dad put together the rest of the furniture today and let me tell you: Shit is getting REAL. I sat in my glider and looked at the 2 cribs and just thought "holy shit. We're going to have 2 freaking babies in like 2 months."

@beary67 We are registered for the TwinGo Original Baby Carrier. It was recommended in our Expecting Twins class and the instructor, who had two sets of twins, swore by it.
