@Sissy42, I feel the.exact.same.way. My kids come back from recess in 5 minutes and I'm sitting here with my head of my desk, praying the afternoon will sail by. I also have a sinus infection and just want some DayQuil! I hope Friday comes quickly for you!
Edit: It dawned on my that you are probably talking about your own children, not students in which case Friday won't help. So I guess that I hope bedtime comes quickly for you.
Thank you @ladythrice - I dealt with them all afternoon, and decided on a family walk/bike ride, which was unpleasant for the sinus infection, but minimized sibling squabbling, so that's a for sure win! And DH is putting the kids to bed by himself tonight while I sit here on the bump and ignore the open library tab I *should* be dealing with
@keeksie84 - I'm a high school English teacher by trade, but have been teaching part time since I had our first kiddo 5 years ago. This year they changed me from a teacher to an administrator, but (for right now at least) I get to keep my part time status because I'm currently getting my M.Ed. I do 100% know what you mean about the kids coming back after lunch/recess (especially when they come back smelling of reheated spaghetti and sweat, though in this case I was talking about my own children - whom I probably shouldn't be griping about! But I do get a little tired of breaking up their fights over babydolls and cardboard boxes.
