WTF irresponsible parents. Today a parent called the office bc they were upset their kid was eating at school before coming to class (they now owe money). AND they didn't have their picture form bc "the teacher must have taken it out of the backpack before we had a chance to even look at it". Listen here, your kid says she's hungry, the school feeds her; we cannot possibly turn a kid away who says she is hungry, which I am not in charge of anyway. Also, I don't play mind games by stealing things out of your child's backpack. Andplusalso, you were over an hour late for picking your kid up this week-so maybe the problem isn't me.
@magnolia305 wtf? I told DS teacher that even though I send him to school with a lunch if he wants hot lunch then he can have it and I’ll pay the bill. Because him eating is really my end goal. What an awful mother to get mad about that. Clearly she isn’t feeding her poor thing.

**Stuck in the box
Can you imagine what would happen if we just stopped feeding a kid that said she/he was hungry?? It was just frustrating because I have NOTHING to do with breakfast anyway--they eat before they come to my room.
@magnolia305 Ugh sorry you had to start your day like that! I have a hard time imagining teachers stealing anything out of kids backpacks ... what for fun? Shame on them :-\
@magnolia305 I can not imagine what you deal with on a daily basis. Teachers need to be paid more! As do nurses and police officers. Trying to perform these roles while being expected to maintain a "customer is always right" is completely unrealistic!

Wtf to my DH who left oil draining openly in the garage. And my MIL took out our trash and spilled it everywhere. Including all over our infant car seat bases for the twins. Sigh.

I swear if I could be a principal of a school for orphans, I’d take that in a heartbeat.
Had as a parent complain to me the other day (and not the first) that I need to train the parents how to drive in car loop. A, I didn’t get into education to police adult behavior. B, do I look like a driver’s ed instructor?
Shove it. My school is the highest performing school in our city. Fix your own damn car loop.
I know. Sometimes I am thankful when the parents show me their true colors--bc it helps me understand the kiddos more. Parents are one of the hardest parts of being a teacher.
@mrsgunsta High five for having the highest performing school in your area!
@meatballs37 ahhhh!! How do you get oil off of the carseat bases? Positive side--at least it wasn't the actually carseat?

For me it was THE hardest part.
Speaking of parents, yesterday DD and I were at a toddler storytime at the library and this older child (NOT a toddler, and no younger toddler sibling present!!) was running around, pushing the toddlers and snatching toys away. And what was the accompanying parent doing? She was on her dang phone, totally ignoring the child.
I'm a mostly SAHM now, and other parents are still the hardest part of my job.
@magnolia305 hmm not sure. But I think DH is going to have to clean it somehow. Luckily the car seats are inside.

My WTF is what my WTF is usually about..people saying stupid things. Today, a woman on my staff told me I was so big I had to be pregnant with twins. I'm trying to hard not to let it irritate me, but I'm failing.
ETA: I think the twin thing is a misconception at this stage because I've seen @meatballs37 bump and its not obviously different than other bumps. I just think using "twins" as a way to tell someone their too big is rude.

409 or a degreaser. Then wash with soap and water should do the trick.
@ash0625 I was kinda looking forward to being out in public and someone asking if there was two. Lol because then I could be like, uh yeah there is. Mostly because when people say that, I don't ever think they really expect that there are two to be the answer. Sigh. People are morons. I will say I am a LOT bigger than I was with DD at this same stage. But I also carry my babies really high (I'm pretty tall) Baby A is ALWAYS up in my rib cage.

My WTF Wednesday are the people at the VW dealership! I was getting a key programmer for my car and they told me it would be no more than 30 minutes. Well 30 minutes with an almost 2 year old running around the dealership isn't awful. 30 minutes go by, then 40 then 50 and then 60! Finally the receptionist comes out and says "okay your car is all ready to go and we even washed it for you!" So I got stuck in the waiting room with a cranky 2 yr old that was up at 5:30 and we just found out he has tonisillitis! Thank you for washing my car while I listen to a screaming toddler. So nice of you! (And the car really wasn't that dirty!)

Heck! Driving through a car wash is pure entertainment for a kid. They did you no favors.
@olitwinturbosnprincess I definitely just LOL'd! It's so true!! And then he would at least be contained in his car seat and not trying to touch the display cars! We can't afford to fix a scratch on those!
My wtf Wednesday is to the 2 year molars. Ive come to the conclusion that they got their name because they take 2 years to come in.
I can't help but giggle about your explanation. We are at the one year molar mark and ugh. Teething sucks.

My WTF Wednesday: I was at Target, had to pee (go figure)... this lady and I went in at the same time, were the only people in there. She finished and walked out. Like holy shit lady, wash your filthy hands!!! I was soooo grossed out. I still am. I work in the medical industry, so I'm constantly washing my hands. I just thought this was disgusting AF. Rant over.
my wtf is that the midwife made a mistake. She meant to call someone else back and have them go to labor and delivery. I thought it was overkill but who am I to question her?
Ok whatever but the kicker? They wouldnt validate my parking. Not that it was breaking my bank but come on it was the hospital’s mistake. Then the front desk guy kept calling me a customer and I went on a tangent about how I’m a patient not a customer and my baby isn’t a business. Then in all this the midwife still didn’t call back the other pregnant woman who needed to be seen. Why am I telling you to go call that poor woman who needs someone and I’m fine.
I get done going off and DH high fives me in the lobby. Lol I love this man. But he still won’t let me have a Home birth but we are switching hospitals.
@SunflowerMama428 Wow! That is terrible! Does switching hospitals mean a new midwife? I dont think I would be able to put any trust there after that. Glad youre okay though!
@mayapple44 yes it means a new midwife. DH wants me to go back to an obgyn but I told him to give a midwife one more chance. We just so happened to get a dud on the first try

Ugh. Better to find out now rather than later. Definitely time for a change! I hope the next midwife you meet with is on her A game!
Ha ha ha ha ha! That looks like so much more work, and you need to plan a day ahead, with parchment paper? That stuff is expensive! She should get her mom card revoked.

I know but do we really want to be to moms who serve our precious ones less than perfect bread and without the honey drizzles?
Actually, yeah I do. Lol
