    Cycle/Month? 2/2

    WTO/TWW? WTO

    Ages of other child(ren)? L is 2, E is 10 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? This weekend is going to interesting trying to fit in to to BD. I have conferences and H has weekend night shifts. hmmmm.

Any questions? I haven't been around much since TTGP was overhauled, and I mainly stick to this thread. So the question is; for people who are here, but not everywhere on the board is there a place for BFPs or do we just fade away to our BMBs?

GTKY: What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned? I love all my Lula Roe, but my favorites are my leggings. I have a particular pair that I call my Beauty and the Beast ones. They are just awesome.

Any thoughts about this cycle? We had great timing...So I'm happy for that.

    Any questions? Nah

GTKY: These little tan suede flats with embroidered flowers on them. I wore them till I couldn't anymore. I wore them with anything and everything. I still miss those shoes :(

@Princesslockness If you haven't been here long, or haven't really participated too much then you really just fade to bmb. If you're around for awhile, and really get into bumpin then there is a weekly post started for bfp

  • @josie12367 I know about the weekly thread for BFPs, I am here daily and it will have been at least 2 months, I just don't have the energy to keep up with all the dailies and learning everyone's name. Hence the question.

I have been on TTGP before, and we did things differently then. I am just making sure I understand how it is done this time around.

  • @princesslockness My tone probably didn't come across right...I didn't mean that to sound snarky in the least. Apologies if it did! I get your question. I was here in 2010 and in 2015 and they just posted it on the main board in 10' and then in the daily threads in 15'. I understand your confusion :)
Siggy Challenge - Summer Movie Scenes

  • @princesslockness if you've only been around 2 months and haven't been participating in the dailies regularly then I would just fade to your BMB if you get a BFP this cycle. If people aren't going to recognize you if you post in the grad thread then it's best not to post there.

Any thoughts about this cycle? Fx that the quickie we had during FW worked! I don't have high hopes but it would be nice if my surgery just fixed everything and I could finally get KU.

@princesslockness I am mainly a lurker and I enjoy your posts. I am going to try word my response in a kind way, and do not mean the following to be snarky, so please bear with me. I don’t think it would be taken kindly by the general TTGP populace to post in the grad thread if you can’t be bothered to remember their names or engage with them. Many TTGP’ers avoid this thread and would have no idea who you are if you aren’t posting in any other threads. That is just my take after lurking for most of a year and seeing the culture. Anyone else, feel free to correct me if I am off base.
    ^wss.
I come on the TFAS thread and try to keep up, but even so your username isn't really familiar to me @princesslockness.
This will come off rude, but if you're not interested in getting to know the general populace of the board, I can guarantee they're not interested in your BFP. TFAS is a small part of a larger board. 99% of us won't know who you are.
The bolded is exactly what I was talking about. I am slowly getting back into the swing of a larger board. I have 2-3 other weeklies that I stalk and can recognize the regulars, but so many ladies are gone(YAY) from my other two stays that its really difficult to keep up. The italics: Its not that I don't want to get to know them, I just haven't had enough time to figure out how to keep everyone straight.
I don't want to upset anyone, so I'm really glad I asked.

    Edit: Capitalization and letters.

@princesslockness this is my main source of participation as well, as I don't really belong in the dailies without a cycle and it seems futile. I lurk some but it bums me out. I wouldn't be opposed to TFAS ladies to post BFPs in this thread if that seems like a good idea to people, but even if I'm here a long time I will probably still move on to my BMB and not post in the grad thread. A lot of folks lurk the BMBs, anyway. That's where all the fun drama happens!

Any thoughts about this cycle? Nightweaning soonish. Hope it helps. Also, my OBGYN appointment I had to reschedule is Thursday, finally.

There was a lady at church this week with a fresh new baby and she has 2u2. I definitely never wanted 2u2, but I was still a little jealous of her fresh baby  DS seems less and less like a baby every day.

Also, planning sex has been going really well. We have two planned times a week and are a little flexible with those, but it's working so far. If I ever turn an OPK I will definitely try to get more timing.

GTKY: What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned? I have some grey and black plaid booties I really love.

  • @lalala2004 Thank you for understanding and explaining better than I was. I was shoving my foot in my mouth, and couldn’t figure out how to say what I wanted to say.

Hopefully your OB goes well. Are you going to be asking about jump starting your cycle, or are you still going to NTNP until you have a cycle? 2u2 is fun, but super challenging. Now that E is closer to a year, they have a blast playing together. GL with the OPKs.

    Cycle/Month? 1/2

    WTO/TWW? I don't even know anymore

    Ages of other child(ren)? 12m

Any thoughts about this cycle? I've given up hope on this one. We haven't BD'd since I thought I ovulated 18 days ago. Still no AF, and no BFP. I'm still BFing, but I'd had a few "normal" cycles before this. I guess I'm not as regular as I assumed. Now, regardless of when AF finally shows, we're TTA for a few months due to a trip to Spain next summer.

    Any questions?

GTKY: What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned? I had a dinosaur t-shirt in my 20's that I adored. It got way too small, but I held onto it. Now I've turned it into a romper that DD wears regularly. Hopefully I did the spoiler thing right and the pic is in there...

  • @lalala2004 hopefully night weaning works out for you, and that your appointment goes well too! DD still wakes up 1-2 times each night too.

@princesslockness I understand where you're coming from with your question, and I think the others answer it for you. I am trying to get used to this board again too. It's great that most people are new, because that means that who we remember have moved on with what we can hope are success stories in some capacity. The downside is that we're n00bs again. I think I recall you from when I was here though, so there's that!

@shortstack930 fx for you! Also, I've never owned converse of any color. Now I think I need some.

@josie12367 those shoes sound so cute! I'm sorry they're no longer with you.

@sammich_cat I'm holding on to a lot of things that will hopefully fit again. Luckily nothing is my "favorite" thing, but at the same time, that's less motivation to make it fit...
  • @princesslockness I have a few pair of Lularoe leggings too! I'm not brave enough to wear them out of the house since the patterns are so crazy (plus I always feel a little weird in leggings), so I just wear them as pajamas. They're so comfy!
@shortstack1030 FX that your quickie did the trick this time around!
@lalala2004 GL with the night weaning and your upcoming OBGYN appointment. I hope it goes well and that you get some good advice.
@br0co1ii So sorry for the confusion with your cycle. That is so frustrating. I guess it's a good thing in the end since now you'll be TTA for a couple of months. A trip to Spain sounds like so much fun! Your DD's romper is super cute, by the way!

Any thoughts about this cycle? As always, just trying not to get my hopes up. It's FW right now, so I'll be trying to get in a good amount of HIO. Although I'm not convinced that great timing actually helps anything, since last cycle we did it almost every day! :P

GTKY: What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned? I recently got a cute new flowy tank top from Old Navy and I love it! I can layer it with a cardigan for work or a night out and it makes me feel good about myself. I liked it so much that I bought it in 3 colors! :)

@offtoneverland thanks for the complement re: romper! And yes, Spain!!! I am excited and nervous about it, but it should be amazing.

    Edit to add:
I used to buy things in multiple colors all the time! I love that you found something that makes you feel amazing.
  • @br0co1ii I remember you from my 2015/16 round. That romper is ADORABLE!!!! and yes, it sucks horribly to be a n00b again.

@offtoneverland, I still don't think leggings count as pants, but I have enough of the Lula shirts(which are long enough to cover the butt), that I feel safe wearing them to work.

  • @offtoneverland Definitely things you need to try on. I figured all 2xls would fit the same, but they don't. Some shirts I'm a L, some a 3xl isn't big enough for. Oh well, I still adore my Lula.

  • @offtoneverland DH has family there, so we have a free spot to stay. But, since we are going for 5 weeks, we're also taking a short trip to Paris to see the eiffel tower!

As far as LuLaRoe goes, I am 5'1", and some of the shirts are pretty long, but I like it that way. There's different ways to tie some of the styles so they fit better too. But I second @princesslockness about trying them on. No 2 are the same, even in the same style. If you can get to an actual party instead of online, that's your best bet.

    STUCK IN THE BOX********
Your body has a circadian rhythm so it will remember to produce at night. Think back to when you first started nursing. Majority of women take a while to regulate, and will be full/leaking when the next time to nurse came around. Thats your body adding to/changing its daily rhythm.

Any thoughts about this cycle? Typically I would have O today, but I didn’t get a positive opk so I’m feeling a little bummed about that.. but also staying hopeful that it will happen tomorrow.

    Any questions? Nope

GTKY: What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned? I love a big knit cardigan to layer with. We are finally getting into Fall where I live so I’m excited about all the cardigans and layered clothing. :)

  • @Mmyles87 Welcome! FX that you O soon. I'm with you and @holly321 about cardigans. They're a staple in my wardrobe and I pretty much wear one every day to work. :) Where do you live? We're starting to get fall weather here too (in Maryland) and I'm really happy about that.
@Mylitta So I didn't breastfeed technically, but I exclusively pumped for 12 months. I dropped a pumping session when DD started eating more solids, then dropped another near the end. I think as long as you gradually decrease like that, your body will still know to keep producing milk. It's overwhelming to think about it, but you'll kind of figure it out as you go along and see what works for you body. I friend of mine stopped breastfeeding at around 18 months or so, but kept up with the bedtime feedings for quite a while and she had no issues producing milk at all. GL to you!
@br0co1ii 5 weeks in Spain sounds amazing! Especially with a free place to stay. That's great that you'll get to stop in Paris too. I went to Paris when I was in high school and I loved it.

  • @offtoneverland Thank you! I live in Ohio, so we are just getting into Fall but I bet Maryland even more so. Ohio has decided to jump back into summer weather this week.
@Mylitta I agree with what everyone else said as far as wheaning. You’ll be surprised at how quickly your body responds and adjusts to what you’re wanting to do.
  • @lalala2004 I wish the OB had better ideas for you. I also hope that night weaning works well. What she said makes sense that low body fat might make you more sensitive to prolactin.

I "finally" got AF on CD35. Which isn't a long cycle in the grand scheme of things, but long for me, and completely different from any of my other cycles as far as CM go. But, I'm still nursing 4-5 times a day, so prolactin might be to blame for me. It's just that the last 3 cycles were "normal." Oh well. I got a bbt, and we're TTA until January now, so I'll have more to go on then. At least I have a fresh start now.
  • @lalala2004 I would take that as permission to eat more cookies! :D That's too bad you didn't get any better response from the doctor. Hopefully night weaning will go well for you when you decide to give it a try.

    Probably my fleece. Cozy.
  • @offtoneverland @Mmyles87 @lalala2004
Thank you! I was trying to decide if I should try to wean so I'm done by 12m, or start at 12m. I personally would prefer to start at 12m, but I'm not sure about pumping at work. Technically you're only covered for the first year... I could do it on my lunch still and they wouldn't mind likely, but I do get/take extra breaks right now for pumping. Does anyone have experience? Do you think I should bring it up to them?
  • @Mylitta I was really lucky in that my employer allows break times to pump at work for as long as a woman chooses to breastfeed. How many times do you pump a day now? I would think that by 12 months you might not need to be pumping a ton since your DS will be having more solids by then. So perhaps you could get away with just pumping at lunch time? Or if you're comfortable with it, you could ask your work about allowing you some extra time to pump until you wean. I'm probably of no help, but tried to answer your question anyways. :)

  • @Mylitta I think when the time comes, you will know. Definitely talk to your supervisor/HR to see what your company offers. It could be up to a year or maybe it’s up to the company to have their own policy. For example I am a hairstylist and they had to offer me breaks every 3 hours to have time to pump for as long as I wanted. I didn’t mind pumping at work. I just took 3 whole sets so I didn’t have to worry about thoroughly washing them there.

I was told that if you put your pumping equipment in the fridge with your milk you don't have to clean it after every time since it's refrigerated. :)

Yes! I did this for the whole time I pumped and it was a lifesaver for me since I had to pump so much. It saved so much time! I put all the pieces in a gallon size ziploc bag and stuck them in the fridge! I only did this at home though. Would not want to do this in a shared work refrigerator lol! But at work I just rinsed the parts out with hot water to save time and gave them a thorough cleaning at the end of the day.

GTKY: What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own / owned? Right now, it's probably my Old Navy Jeggings. My body is definitely not the same since having DS and they have been pretty great for being able to look like I'm wearing jeans, but still being comfortable and somewhat flattering.
