Holy moly. I'm feeling really sad for those who didn't make it on FB. My May 12 board is AMAZING. We moved to FB in May of 12 - I think. It could have been April, but I think it was May. There were 275 of us or so to start with, and now it's at 190 or so, and it's WONDERFUL. I love them. I've met quite a few IRL, and a few I've never met, I still adore. There are a handful I could do without .... but I feel that way about a few of my coworkers and relatives too, ha.
I'm one of those people without social media on my phone, so it's only in the evenings when I get a few minutes that I'm usually able to browse around and post, so I'm spotty at best, and sorry about that! I'm not sure if anyone recognizes me yet or not.
Lurkers haven't bothered me - I think I'm just impressed that they manage to read their own board AND take a look at other boards. I have to confess, there are only like 5-6 threads that I read at a time, so I miss a lot.
Can I have a MFFC? I bought bark collars on Amazon today, because I love my dogs and want them to live through my pregnancy and the infancy stage of our 3rd child. The. causeless. barking. has. to. stop.
@Sissy42 - have you heard of the egg barking deterrent? A friend had it and it worked well! Coincidentally, the training collar I bought for my 7 month old pup came in today lol. It can beep, vibrate or give static shock. Don’t plan on shock, but we need to have some help in finishing her training. She’s 71 pounds, but will end up over 100. Can’t have a big dog without manners around little ones!
My BMB was the same. Only a small group made the cut and other were invited. We are about 40, lost maybe 6-7 members to drama over the years but overall I like that it's on the smaller side. I would have a hard time keeping up with the life of 200+ people
