I'm not a pie person. I LOVE pumpkin pie, but I can't eat any other pies (fruit/berry pies) without ice cream on top. Don't even get me started on how gross I think pecan pie is.

I love pie ( apple, pumpkin and rhubarb are my absolut favorite) and cake but I'm picky about frosting and there can't be a shit ton of it.... with that said I have tried my favorite cupcake twice since getting KTFU and they have tasted so sweet I couldn't eat them.... what kind of Satan in hell does that to a person?!?!
@cups4, I don't like the posted pics in the pumpkin patch either. Totally fine taking the pics, just don't want to see 8 million pics of the same thing of other kids.
@zizzabell523 I don't want to keep beating a dead horse, but waiting for a fender bender to talk to your MIL about her safely taking your child around kind of scares me. There is a viral post going around facebook about a woman who was hit very close to her home and the only reason her kids are ok is because of their car seats. That fender bender may be way worse.
Buttercream icing is disgusting. Whipped cream frosting all the way.
I hate cherry anything. I think root beer is gross.... it tastes like wintergreen (is often and ingredient. @zizzabell523 my MIL is the worst with carseat safety, and she used the "I did it this way and my kids are just fine" on me. My response that gets her to listen (because I have to repeat it every time) was "yes, and all the babies who weren't okay aren't here anymore to talk about it." I hope you have better luck with her in the future!

They can use the money they would've spend buying us presents on themselves and get what they actually want/need!
silverhope we haven't done adult presents with family in more than a decade. Kids only. Instead, we bring 100$ each and each year someone different get's to decide where it is donated.

I love all the holidays. Give me all of them. Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, freaking Arbor Day I don't care. Maybe that's my UO.
I love holidays too! October-February are my absolute favorite months. Halloween, Thanksgiving, my birthday, Christmas, New Years, and Valentines Day. I don't care if they're hallmark holidays. They're fun!!!
Maybe when my kids are bigger we'll just opt out entirely and spend all the money on going somewhere warm - hey family, you're welcome to join us!
My mom and I used to do that every holiday (before I married my husband). I'm an only child, all of my grandparents are deceased, and my father passed away a few years ago, so we had no one we were obligated to spend the holidays with. I actually love traveling over the holidays. And it created a new, fun tradition for me and my mom to share.
I love the actual holidays and getting to do fun things with DS and see him enjoy it. Do not like when family tells me when and where I need to be and how obligated we are to spend time when they dictate.
I have waaaay too many siblings; several of nearly every variety that divorcing parents can create... so for better or worse we'll never have no obligations. Sigh, sometimes simple looks so nice.
I won't announce this pregnancy - not because it's our 3rd (we didn't announce with #1 or #2 either). I'm not really against it, I guess I just feel like if you're actually a part of my life, I'll see you in person and tell you.
