• Wow what a busy day I missed yesterday!

@artemis618 and @latvaughanash hope you rested well after your ERs and good luck for fert reports today!

@rainbows2018 I can understand your disappointment, but you got 2!!! Fx for the next week for the PGS testing results!

@adirat good luck for ER today!

@Decemberdoll27 Keeping everything crossed for your Beat!!!

@hopeful_mom really hoping to see you post a great second beta! Also hope your doctor can do some sweet talking to your vag to get it to calm down finally!!!

AFM I am hoping to not be too late in the office today, then will try to relax (ha!) over the weekend amongst these blooming progesterone side effects.
All my cheapy HPTs are negative so far, but then again I'm only 7dp2dt which would equal 9dpo... and we all know only BSC people test that early ;-)
I guess I will try an FRER Monday or Tuesday just in case. Especially as DH has to go it of town on Thursday and won't be back until Saturday night, so I'm all on my own for beta day... Then I could try another one Thursday morning, so we have a good feeling what the news will be on Friday.
This next week is going to feel like a lifetime...

• I woke up this AM feeling very broken down by this process. Everything from the emotional to financial impact of this process has all of a sudden become too overwhelming. IDK how long I can go on this quest not knowing where or how it ends. I’m not being a good wife, friend.or a good employee right now and that’s not the person I can relate to. Sorry to vent here bc I know that most of you are so close to realizing your dreams and don’t need me to be a Debbie downer but you guys are the only ones who can relate to what I feel.

• @decemberdoll27 ooooh barfing has to be a good sign!!! I will also be stalking this page to hear the news!

@adirat I have justified early testing by testing EVERY day since trigger! Just to make sure some part didn't sneak back in after I got the first negative... well that's my official storyline ;-)

• @DecemberDoll27 good luck today! Everything feasibly possible crossed for you right now!

@adirat it's the day! GL friend!

@rainbows2018 we all have those days (sometimes weeks :bawling:), I'm sorry you're struggling this morning. This is the place to vent, we have all been there (in some form) and there's not very many other people that can understand! I know that this cycle hasn't been what you wanted and coming to terms with that is really rough. We are OOP so financially I'm terrified of what it means if this cycle doesn't work. BUT what i've found helps is a) not letting those thoughts get too far before cutting them off and forcing myself to a more positive place (not easy, I assure you) and b) being better about positive self talk. @ReeseAnne16 posted this in another thread and it's been very helpful for me to do as well:
I would always say to myself "It's not fair, that will never be me." She challenged me to say to myself, instead, "THAT will be me someday."

I've realize in the last month that i do a lot of worrying and "dress rehersals" of my darkest fears in order to prepare myself for the worst but it never does. All it does it make me miserable in the mean time. So I've been intentional about when I feel those thoughts start to go out of control making myself think something positive.

Like I said, we all have our days friend and I'm sorry you have to go through this. But try and be positive, you'll have your results in no time and can move forward!

Happy Friday Everyone!

@DecemberDoll27 EEKkkk!!! Today's the day!!! <3 Crossing fingers and toes for you!!!

@hopeful_mom You too lady bug! Rise HCG Rise!!!

@emmasemm What test kit are you using? I have tested twice on a cheap one but I'm not sure why I'm doing it because it keeps coming up with a big goose egg. I think I may need to order a better one before the weekend? Any recos?

@adirat Yay!!! ER day, enjoy the relaxing day off with nothing to focus on except YOU! You will be great!

@artemis618 and @latvaughanash glad to hear yesterday went well! FX for some awesome fert report today!

AFM, I do not remember the two week wait being this torturous last time. Maybe because I had no blasts on D5 so I was 99% sure in my head it wouldn't work, I didn't obsess. It's funny because this time I have no blasts either but somehow w/ D3 + 2 embryos, I'm feeling slightly hopeful- which honestly terrifies me. I know you all get it but ^ hope only leads to a greater disappointment, at least so far. I don't really have symptoms like you guys, just period- like cramping over and over for like ~4 days now, but my transfer was rough with the catheter due to my misshapen uterus so I'm fairly sure at least some of the cramps are from that. I'm just trying to let go of my need to control and trust that whatever happens it is part of a greater plan for me.

Thinking of you all! We will (almost) all be in the 2WW club after today!

• @cxsimo08 As I've never seen a BFP I'm probably not the person to ask for HPT recommendations ;-)
I have tried a lot of brands - I always have the ones with my CBAD, then more CB ones, then FRERs, then several brands of cheapies in the house too

Oh god i just realized I'm like a one-woman HPT warehouse! If an apocalypse comes and the only thing you don't have is HPTs you all know where to come ;-)

CONGRATULATIONS @DecemberDoll27 !!

@latvaughanash I think the anesthesia had the opposite effect on me. I took it easy yesterday, but didn't nap all day, then I had trouble falling asleep (tried at like 9:30pm and didn't sleep till like 11:30pm - and it certainly wasn't from pain). Hope you're feeling better today.

@rainbows2018 I'm sorry you're feeling down. Nothing about this process is easy and I think it makes it harder that no one really talks about it IRL. Hang in there!

@adirat - I can't remember in what time zone you are, but I hope you aren't starving/didn't starve and that your ER goes/went swimmingly.

AFM, I decided to go into work today because I'd rather be in the office today than on Tuesday (presumably day 5 update call - even though I tend to have to wait till day 6 - and we'll be on vacation the rest of the week anyway), and totally missed the text from my RE. We have 18 little embabies growing - 11 from ICSI, 7 from IVF. DH is in disbelief. This is more than the total number of embryos from our first three cycles combined this year and more than twice the highest number we've had in a single cycle before. Now we wait and hope a good number continue to develop normally to blast for testing...

I only took a couple short naps yesterday, but had no issue sleeping last night, haha. Maybe in part to the pain pills I had that I didn't hesitate to take? :)

@latvaughanash Yay! 8/11 is a FANTASTIC percentage. Fx for many high quality blasts :)

@emmasemm Haha, thanks. At least the text was in writing :P Maybe the three-month break did me good. And maybe the whole new RE/protocol/lab thing. Especially after our first three cycles this year, these numbers are quite surprising, but we'll take 'em of course. The biggest difference was probably no OCP or Lupron to suppress me before (and luck that I didn't develop a dominant follicle w/no suppression), and maybe no testosterone priming before. We actually reduced stims after 3 days and I only stimmed for 7 days. My nurse actually ordered me 10 gonal-f 450 pens ($0 meds copay at this point for the rest of the year) and I had one leftover from last cycle - I only ended up using 5 (and 6 vials of menopur for the last 3 days). Also ~33% more hgh per shot (33 instead of 25), and whatever I had leftover (should have been ~66) with my trigger. So who knows? But since 40's just a week and a half away quality's always the question.

• @DecemberDoll27 Yay that is such wonderful news! I'm so thrilled for you!

@Artemis618 @latvaughanash Woohoo, three cheers for fert reports! I hope they all keep growing beautifully!

AFM -- ER went fine! I was pretty loopy and exhausted all afternoon, but now I'm OK other than some annoying cramping. They retrieved all 9 eggs seen on ultrasound, and all 9 appear mature :) I'm pretty relieved. Thanks for all your well wishes today, friends!
