this is my first time here & just trying to get some insight to what I'm feeling. I've googled till I can't google no more & cant seem to find anything like it. So here goes. We have been trying to conceive for 3 years with zero success. But this month just seems different. Last day of my period this month was the 4th. The 16th I had orangish redish spotting (no sex prior to that & ive also read that could mean ovulation). On the 20th I went pee & wiped & there was hints of pink on the tp (tmi sorry) happened again on 21, 22, 23,& 27. I have had slight cramping but nothing major (I have very bad period cramps). My boobs & nipples are very sore & having to pee more frequently. I have took a couple test & 1 looked like a very faint positive & couple more was negative. Has this happened to anyone else & them still get a BFP or am I spotting for some other reason you think. I'm driving my self crazy & still have till the 30th for my period.

Though I sympathize with your ttc struggle, I don't think you'll find much help here because we are all also trying for BFPs, and most for the first time. You might want to take this to a different board such as first trimester where women have actually gotten a BFP. And/or/also, asking if you're pregnant, even in a round about way is against the rules here. Spotting can happen for lots of reasons, and most likely you're just going to have to wait it out to find out possibly why. We can't tell you why either...
I do encourage you to stick around in your TTC journey. There are many women here that can answer your IF questions, and provide support to you, and you too them. It's wonderful to have another share in that journey with you that knows how you are feeling, and what you are going through. But this is a two way relationship of support here. You have to give it, to receive it.
Please read the "read first" thread at the top of the main page. It will answer most questions about this community. Then post an introduction on the "intro thread" for this week so we can get to know you. Good luck! I hope to see you in the TWW thread soon after a proper introduction into our community
A line is a line. This is not the place to post something like this. Would you walk into a room of strangers and tell them that think you're pregnant, let alone women who are trying to get pregnant, some who are struggling with infertility?

-No one can give you insight to what you're feeling. -Google is the enemy. -I don't know you, so I really don't want to read about what is coming out of your vagina. -A line is a line is a line. If your tests are negative, you're not pregnant at this time. Stop SS'ing and test once a week until your period comes or you get a BFP. In the mean-time, read the newbie guide, lurk a bunch, and actually introduce yourself to the community (you'll know where once you read the newbie guide, hint hint) and start participating. -If your tests are positive, congrats, please don't update us since we don't know you; just move on to your BMB. -It's against the site rules to ask us if you're pregnant. Even in a round-about way. We also can't see in to your uterus, so, sure, you're totes KU, congratulations, the interwebs said so, so it must be true! -Also, don't use blue-dye tests. They are also the enemy.
Maybe I'm missing something but if you didn't have sex prior to your predicted O date why would you think you're pregnant?
That's how I initially read it, but I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and figure she meant she didn't have sex before she started spotting (like, right before). But, I mean. You never know with drive-bys.
Maybe the reason you haven't gotten pregnant in 3 years is because you aren't determining ovulation and you aren't having sex before it?
This.
You should also know that the last day of your period means absolutely nothing. CD1 is the first day of your period, and your period can last any number of days so, like I said, last day has no meaning. If you've been trying for three years and you don't know how to figure out O date or what CDs mean, I'm guessing there's a good reason you're not pregnant yet: User error. Read the newbie guide, it's a wealth of information.

@adirat@eggplantface Until recently I believed any woman who had tried for at least months SURELY had learned how to detect ovulation and have well-timed sex. Until recently when I know someone who tried for, idk how long exactly but at least 5 months, and then TW the month she started using OPKs BOOM she got ku. Wow. She had sex the right days. End TW
Pro tip: have sex during your FW if you wanna get ku.
eta because I realize that my original comment was insensitive to some - well-timed sex is a precondition to spontaneous pregnancy, but it is not a guaranty. Many on these boards have tons of well-timed HIO without getting ku. Sorry for offending and putting my foot in my mouth!

Dirty lurker.
Just to clarify for the OP - just because you determine ovulation and have sex on the right days doesn't mean you'll get pregnant. There's only a 20% chance each month. I've been at this for 20 months and determine ovulation each month and still don't have a baby so...
@Dilynne I'm very sorry - I made my comment in-artfully and it came off insensitive. I was trying to say well-timed HIO is a precondition to getting spontaneously ku, but it is certainly not a guaranty. I also didn't mean to imply people who have been trying for a long time are just missing FW, but I can see how it came off that way. I was saying I was surprised because I do know someone who apparently tried at the wrong time for months and THAT surprised me because my assumption is everyone is doing a pretty good job of tracking if they've been at it for more than a few cycles. Again, sorry!

True. It greatly increases your chances, but is certainly no guarantee.

I totally got what you were saying. TW My BFF took over a year to get pregnant, but every.single.month. she would tell me her period was a week late..... I kept telling her she was missing her window. She FINALLY listened and had sex a week later than normal, and after a month or two got pregnant. I was probably a bit insensitive, because she kept whining about infertility, and wouldn't listen to what I was saying. End TW

Girl I'm 100% not offended or anything don't worry! No need to apologize at all. I just wanted to clarify for the OP. Some less seasoned TTGPers might have taken your word as gospel. We're good, don't worry
