Re: PGAL Check In Week of 9/20
@sarahjean177 5 weeks is better than 4! Keep on growing embryo!
Just want to add, I freaked out about not having symptoms, and when I did they were pretty short lived. Can't stress enough that symptoms are no indication of how well a PG is going! I worried about this so much and finally my midwife knocked some sense into me. She told me to STOP THINKING ABOUT SYMPTOMS! SO let's not try to stress about the symptoms. It's a losing battle.
Since the doc is really happy I think I'm feeling a little better. I'll still be a mess until the next scan when I can see growth but right now my Bean has a HB and is nestled in good.
Oh and the scheduler wanted to change my appointment with my doc. I have it set for 10/24. They wanted to move it out because I won't be 12w. I said no. I told her there is no way I'm moving it. I will want an NT scan at 12w and I'm not willing to move it out. She acted a little annoyed but I get to decide my own patient care. I told her with my loss history and my current situation it just wasn't going to happen. I will not feel comfortable with this pregnancy until I can hear a HB on my doppler at home and feel this baby move. Until then I will do what I need to do to feel good about this pregnancy. Part of that is being seen regularly by my doc. If I have to be that annoying patient then so what? It's not about them. It's about me and this baby.
