Rave - made an apple pie last night with some of my haul from Apple picking on Saturday. 7 cups of apples and I barely made a dent! I have to pat myself on the back because it is delicious.
CS/Q: I'm second guessing if I had a true positive OPK yesterday. My CBAD is still just saying high. I'm going to wait a few days and let my temps do the talking. Chart in Spoiler.

R/R: rant - it's Monday. Don't wanna go to work. It's rainy here and I'd rather snuggle with the kitties all day. rave - I got a lot of class prep done yesterday, so my week shouldn't be too hectic.
CS/Q: I'm pretty sure O was yesterday, but my temp rise today wasn't huge, so it's possible it's today. More sex tonight, I guess! I think I had ovulation pain yesterday evening though. For those who have it, what does it feel like? I pretty much just felt some cramping in my lower abdomen on the right. Similar to period cramps. Chart in spoiler for your stalking pleasure.
GTKY: What's in your purse?
I usually carry a large computer bag rather than a purse. Typical contents are: laptop, random papers from work, some student assignments, umbrella, glasses, sunglasses, wallet, phone, keys, gum, vga adapter and clicker for my laptop, and maybe a snack.

R/R: Rant: I forgot DH was going out of town for work this morning. He reminded me last night and it threw me off gaurd. He's brought it several times. I should have remembered. The weekend flew by too fast, and it made me forget. I always miss him when he's gone. Rave: DH finally caved and we emptied our living room to help make it look bigger. I just want our house to sell so I can move into my new one!

MH is doing ok, although he says he is feeling very homesick right now, which is unlike him. In the 16 years he has been in, this is the first time that he has not been given a return date. I think that is taking a toll on everyone, home and away. Otherwise they are pulling really long days, but the team is working well together. Thanks for asking. I am super jealous that you are going on vacation soon! The week is going to fly by for you.
@nimmle I am so sorry to hear about your dad. Such a tough time for you. How far away is he? I hope you are able to get to see him soon and spend time with him. I am sure that work will be understanding considering the circumstances. ((hugs)) I didn't know that you wrote songs. What sort of songs do you write? That is very cool!

@offtoneverland Excited for your short week and upcoming vacation! Have you mostly packed everything? The good news about the cruise ship is that they have a ton of stuff on the ship you can buy if you forget anything, but it can be pricey. You can also do laundry on the ship!

@josie12367 I missed commenting yesterday because I usually take Sundays off from TB, but I read the thread today and I am so glad that you all had a great weekend and good chance to chat. Also, I hear ya on deciphering OPKs--that can be a real challenge! This month I am planning to use both the cheapies and the CB digital.
@darkstar42 It is so hard to be motivated when it is rainy/drizzly outside and you just want to snuggle up inside with your pets.

Wallet, keys, phone, lip gloss/chapstick, feminine items, receipts, old grocery lists, pens, gum, a snack or two, a small bible, a prayer journal, and a planner. (It can get rather heavy, so I need to remember to clean it out every few days!)
@nitnat007 Right?! Happily would work longer days for consistent three day weekends. Science says most people do the majority of the work the first four days of the week anyway.
@dukestar5 I need tips for meals these next few weeks too. We should start a thread for people to share their favorites so we can all get new ideas.

I am going with my BFF on a little girls trip. She had Southwest vouchers to use by the end of the year. We are staying at an AirBnB in east Nashville. We're hoping to go to the Opry and were seeing a Jonathan Jackson show. We tried to get tickets to the Blue Bird Cafe this morning but they sold out in literally 5 mins for all the shows this weekend. We will also be eating a lot and checking out the honky-tonks. If you start planning and want more specifics feel free to PM me! It will be my second time there and I love it! It will be a nice distraction from the TWW and I'm in the "drink til its pink" boat so I'm excited that we weren't benched because of it and I can still enjoy myself.

@josie12367 this is a tough chart! Your CF pattern seems to be moving away from fertile, but your temps are not playing ball. I wish youd been doing opks from cd 10 or 11...
@darkstar42 did you note any CF today? You don't have to have a big jump for it to be o... If we make your coverline 97.1 then your temp today is above that. All you need is 3 temps above the cl to confirm o. I have a couple types of o pain. Some sharp, some dull, sometimes both... depends on the cycle

@dukestar5 hmmm healthy snacks.... my main go to's are nuts and fruit. I do lazy meal prep... I cook a bunch of food on sunday and alternate that stuff for dinners and lunch then do it again on maybe Wednesday. This weekend I grilled so it will probably go further. I usually just make a protein and some veggies, sometimes some sweet potato or sprouted brown rice.... I'm gluten free and mostly paleo aip.

CS/Q: I'm annoyed with myself, I know I O late, last cycle was CD20 and cycles before it's been similar...I just for some reason convinced myself I was O'ing earlier this cycle. So I've wasted 9 OPKs and am getting frustrated with the negatives but it's only CD18 so...it is what it is. Also another temp drop today but negative OPK (like super negative...more negative than previous days)...wtf bod?! It's so hard to be patient with your ovaries.

GTKY: What's in your purse? I switch bags often (work bag, diaper bag, purse) so I have chapstick in each and then move my keys phone wallet. My wallet did get bigger though. And occassionally, as now, tampons.

@canucklehead123 You are still looking good for maybe O today (which may be why the temp dip). I find i tend to get my pos OPK's later in the day (not FMU) I tend to test 2 or 3 times a day.
It's not a concealed carry purse but that's on my list for Christmas and my birthday! I have a bunch of them bookmarked. Same with thigh holsters for summer time/dress season.

@josie12367 I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one having trouble figuring out a positive/negative OPK. My control line keeps bleeding and I'm not sure if there is a test line or not. Thinking I may need to buy a new pack or something. Going to switch over to CBE digital.

R/R: I finally got a for sure positive opk yesterday and a slight dip in my chart, so I think finally I will ovulate probably today. This is the latest I have ever tracked ovulation and frankly DH and I are over having sex. We originally tried the SMEP method... Seriously, screw that method lol having sex EOD for almost a month now... idk how I am going to get DH to have sex with me tonight.
CS/Q: I am really talking my determination up in order to not test until at least 12 dpo, my period comes on 13 dpo... I want to have DH look at the test and tell me what it says... DH how I will hold out, but I want a dark line... bec after last cycle I need to see a darker line.
GTKY: What's in your purse?, gym clothes and a work folder... and normal purse things

@canucklehead123 I am sorry. Sometimes I O around CD20/21 too and I understand your frustrations. It feels like such a long time to wait when others O around CD10 or 12! I set a date that I can start using opks--otherwise I waste them.
