Last week we vented about why our SOs are idiots. So let's give them some props this week. Why my SO is a saint. Aaaand go!

MH is a saint because he's been so understanding of how shitty I feel right now. He's been picking up a ton of the housework and has even started giving the girls their bath during the day so I don't have to do it at night before bed. He's also gone to the store almost every night after work (around midnight) to pick up whatever random thing I want that day.

Well we're in the middle of wedding planning crunch time and he's turning into a groomzilla, so I'm keeping my distance as much as possible right now.

Like the end of last night's argument... "No I'm not doing a bouquet toss. I'm holding a fan, not a bouquet, I don't think it's a cool tradition to keep up with, and I'm 1000% not doing anything of the sort of you refuse to do a garter toss."
"I still think you should because girls care about that shit."

Yeah I'm done.

@sandbar517 same with mine. I can't remember the last time he emptied the dishwasher without me asking and this week he did it twice. He's been helpful with a lot of things right now. I also feel bad for him because I haven't been in the mood for sex lately.

@ivyvines6 I totally get that. MH turned into a bit of a groomzilla, too. Was super low-key, "I don't care" about most of the decisions, then got his undies in a bunch over the floral centerpieces. Seriously?? And I could be wrong, but I feel like a lot of women are starting to hate the bouquet toss. I had one anyway, cuz I'm evil like that, and actually had a relatively big crowd for mine, but especially as brides get older and less of her friends are single, I think it embarrasses a lot of women. One of my besties got married a few years ago, and I think there were only 3 or 4 girls out there. Cringe worthy.
@mileswithmyles Amen, sister!!! I guess this is another FFFC for me, but we haven't had sex since I ovulated. We only see each other on weekends, so it's hard to find time for it anyway, but while I was in the TWW I was nervous (I thought it might harm implantation, duh!) and since I got my BFP I've been so freaking nauseated, the thought of sex makes me want to vomit.

I'm the total opposite. Give. Me. All. The. Sex. But that's pretty normal for me anyway. I remember when I was pregnant with J I was convinced that I wouldn't have a libido after he was born and I spent a lot of time fretting over it.

DH is a saint because even when he's feeling crappy (he has fibromyalgia) he still does a ton for me and the kids right now. Cooks most nights, puts the kids to bed most nights, lets me sleep, goes and gets my whims. He's a really good man. I'm very lucky.

My DH has been amazing the last couple of weeks. Sadly my mam passed away last Wednesday and he has picked up all the slack. I didn't do anything with the kids for the first few days and he just took over. Also feeling really crappy and nauseous and he takes over bedtime and bath time as soon as he gets in from work and let's me sleep in as long as possible in the mornings. Love him so much right now, he has been so understanding!

My DH is a saint because he lets me sleep on my work days and takes care of the kids full time. I get off at 3am and usually get up with the kids and help DH in the morning but lately I've been so exhausted he lets me sleep and just has the kids come say good morning to me. This is huge because I go back to work at 5pm so not only is he doing morning and day are drop offs, he's also doing pick ups, dinner, baths and bedtime on his own.

@rachelg777 @sandbar517 and @mileswithmyles I have developed amazing ninja moves for if he gets anywhere near my chest! I dont know why he get so mad when I do it though, it has been going on for over a month, you would think he would learn.

But my DH is a saint because he asked his Dr. what I could take for my all day nausea and picked the items up for me (B6 and Unisom). I had dealt with it for nearly 2 weeks as I hate taking meds, I would rather just lay in bed. Anyway, they have helped a lot, and now I am just getting used to the drowsiness that it causes.

DH is a saint bc he's been cooking, keeping up with the kids, and not complaining about the mood swings. I'm definitely not in the mood for sex. He hasn't complained (much)!

@sandbar517 we had sex once since ovulation. I had spotting after and thought my period was coming. Two days later, bfp. We have done "other stuff" once since, and i spotted after that, too. So we have abstained because im paranoid that my cervix is weak or something lol. I will ask doc about it at first appt this week. Been to nauseous for sexytime anyway hahah.

AFM husband is saint because he almost always does most of our cleaning, but lately he barely asks me to help and lets me nap a lot. Work was gettibg crazy for me (im a tax accountant), and i am taking this week off because my aunt passed away two days ago (i was closer to her than my own mother). Hes been really understanding and going to all the family stuff the last few days
He loved her a lot, too.

MH is a saint because when he is home he does everything around here. I have been so sick in the evenings I have a hard time functioning. He has been cooking dinner and doing the dishes all while keeping the kids relatively occupied. He also lets me sleep in on the weekends.

MH is a saint because we just moved (first day in new place was the day of my BFP!) and since I've been feeling crummy I haven't started working yet. He's been totally cool with completely supporting us for now even though I feel guilty I'm not working yet.

MH is a saint for the way he handled DS getting in trouble at school yesterday. He was playing in the hall and into the bathroom with a boy rode his bus last year. They're 6, they were punching each other in the arm and DS punched a little too hard and the other boy got mad and punched DS in the stomach so DS shoved him away and the kid fell and got a scrape on his back. No one is really in trouble since they're only in first grade, neither has a history of fighting and there were no witnesses but of course phone calls were made and letters sent home... DH handled it so well and made it a teaching moment (my mom said it sounded like the moral of the story lectures at the end of leave it to beaver lol) and just showed DS how much he loves him and wants him to learn and grow and be happy. I was sitting on the couch next to them while they were talking and my hormonal self was a crying mess lol it was just so sweet. He's such a good dad. DS was so worried to tell him because my ex (DS's sperm donor) would have lost his mind and screamed and cussed at him and probably told him that she should have beat the other kid up. It was a great opportunity for DS to see how a father should act.

Yesterday was crazy - all three of us were sleep-deprived and still had to run errands. We were starving, but nothing sounded remotely good to me. It was about 3pm and my husband hadn't had anything to eat, but was still pretty patient with me... relative to how impatient my pregnant self would have been had I been forced to wait to eat! He always impresses me with his patience. I love him so much! Now I'm tearing up

My DH is a saint because he's trying his hardest to appease my terrible stomach. Hardly anything sounds good to me. He asks me constantly if he can go get me anything. Last night he came back with a giant bag of candy because he didn't know if I wanted anything. I didn't have the heart to tell him that unlike the first time around, I'm not craving sweets and that the thought of eating them make my stomach upset...

DH is a saint because we have 4 kids 5 and under and he hasn't lost his **** yet.
And, he's open to leaving our spare bedroom open for foster care even with another baby on the way.
