  • Not nauseous yet, and I'm hoping I won't be. Symptoms didn't kick in for me until week 7 last time, and dizziness was my main one. I can't say I'm craving anything except salt and beverages. I am loving this local fresh bloody Mary mix I found at a local shop that's made with dill, but that's not super unusual for me. I am trying to eat breakfast though, as I don't usually eat until a while after I wake, so I've been making DD and myself scrambled eggs over sauteed spinach on a flax English muffin topped with fontina. Better than my usual Starbucks and croissant on the go.

  • I'm having trouble because dh is out of town and cooking for toddlers is a pain.  Blah.  
    I have this problem too. I do home made mac n cheese a lot when DH is gone or let my son decorate a home made pizza. But yeah, totally no fun cooking for just yourself so toddler favorites it is!!

    Anything rice is what I want. Jasmine rice!!! And I made meals with italian sausage 3 times since my BFP. I don't think my family noticed. Lol

  • All the ginger biscuits - I feel so nauseous it's feels like I'm really ill. Craving lemon chicken from the Chinese tonight! 
  • I've been craving red peppers and lentils like crazy. The thing is, I'm normally really meh about lentils and I don't like red peppers. Last pregnancy was Big Macs and Taco Bell. Weird.

  • I made pesto chicken in my crockpot yesterday! One of my favorite and easy recipes. 6-8 chicken thighs, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 6 ounce jar of pesto, 1 package of ranch dressing mix. Cook on high for 4 hours. Yum! 
  • I've been craving the egg normous burrito from burger king
  • Chicken and dumplings and peach cobbler today. Because screw it. 
  • I think the nausea is finally starting to hit me too, I find this thread amusing, but tonight it's making my stomach turn. Could also be the mushroom and bacon pizza dipped in ranch that I ate for dinner  :#
  • I ate a whole box of pasta roni for dinner. Feeling like such a fatty. 
  • Macaroni and cheese, and hot dogs. But it's ok guys, because everything was organic!  :D
  • DH ordered pizza. I'm okay with this.

  • Our ovens broken but I still managed to cook an amazing roast dinner all on the hob last night so I felt like a 10/10 housewife. Roast potatoes and mint sauce has me drooling! Although halfway through eating my chicken it made me feel really sick and had to leave it


  • It was our anniversary last night and we went out for a nice dinner. It made me sad my appetite wasn't letting me down everything like I normally would. It was also good that since it was Sunday it was quiet and we were the only ones seated on the patio, definitely had to spit out a bite of my lamb because it gave me the hard core urge to vomit. 
  • Today's meal: toast. Because I literally can't stomach anything else. 
  • Turkey subs with lettuce tomato and mayo, cool ranch doritos on the side

    and beef (roast beef, burger, steak, doesn't matter) with dippy eggs (over medium, not over-easy/light)

    yup, me and deli meats and under cooked eggs are going to be best friends for a while lol I usually can't stand egg yolks to not be set, but I'm loving it right now

    Though I have to say, I skipped breakfast today and the nausea is sooooo much worse since. I was super nauseous until I got lunch (see first line for details lol) settled great while I was eating. Since about 10 minutes after I finished I have the serious urge to go lay down or I feel like I'm going to get sick. Only 3 co-workers (other than DH lol) know and I really don't want to throw up in our office bathroom to announce... ugh

  • Still so nauseous except when I'm hungry. Then it's like "food get in my damn belly". 

    I made crock pot green chile chicken tacos, with pickled red onion, avocado and tomatoes. DD devoured it, and to our shock loved the pickled onions??!
  • I had a Big Mac.  No shame, it was so delicious and SO worth it.

  • @sandbar517 i had taco bell! hahah I gave in. Now just trying to work a bit from home before I can go to bed, I think I caught some bug thats going around. Chills, sore throat, etc. 
  • We had Olive Garden tonight, I got the eggplant Parmesan and had one piece and a few spoonfuls of noodles. Couldn't stomach much more.
    Even though I made carnitas in the crockpot. Oh well, dinner is made for tomorrow at least. 
  • @kpc914 I had that bug last week ☹️. No fun! I hope you feel better soon.
  • I tried regular Coke today after a recommendation from someone on DS's BMB with similar morning sickness and it tastes delicious.  I can't even remember the last time I drank regular Coke.  
  • @mileswithmyles YES. I only drink regular coke when I'm pregnant. It helps better than ginger ale for me. 
  • I'm still hungry after eating this for breakfast and a yogurt, but I've been getting such a weird feeling after eating that I don't want to eat more.  Like, still hungry, nauseous, not satiated, but way too full blargh

  • Tonight I'm having Mojo's (local chain restaurant) I'm having Chicken florentine quesadillas with extra sour cream, and mac and cheese. (I also had a snack bag of cheetos on the way home from work)
  • I don't remember eating all these weird combinations so early last time. Lord help me if this is only week 6.

    Last night I made Indian butter chicken (crockpot) with roasted cauliflower and basmati rice. 

    Tonight was grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup!
  • @Ceridwen77 grilled cheese sounds so good tonight. I had leftover Chinese from SO's lunch. I'm regretting it. Barf. 
  • ugh.... still eating basically nothing. Had a package of saltines yesterday. 
  • @kpc914 sorry you are dealing with so much nausea. Hope it gets better soon! 
  • @kpc914 I'm sorry!  I started my Phenegran last night and I feel like a new woman today. I ate a normal lunch for the first time in weeks and it stayed down. Don't be afraid to ask for meds if you need them!  I wish I had done it sooner and in my last pregnancy. 
  • @mileswithmyles and @bwow615 thanks ladies! I actually started taking Unisom and B6 last week, and can definitely relate to that "new woman" feeling. I haven't vomitted since starting unisom, but still struggle with general nausea and appetite. But, if it means I don't run to the bathroom as soon as I wake up, i'll take it!
