If you are a
contributing member with a BFP this week, please share your success with us here.
How do you know if you're a contributing member?
1. Ask your heart.
2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy?
3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there?
4. Really, if you're a 1/1 or a 2/2 and it's not like you were around when you were benched or prior to TTC, maybe just move on. Even if you have participated daily for a month and offered tons of support. Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs, we'll see your intro and PM/comment/love tit.
5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful.

This thread has mild restrictions - thread is primarily BFP announcements but does allow for direct questions or lengthy/personalized congrats in the comments.
Use the "Love It" button for "congrats!", "H&H 9 months!", "I was hoping this was your month!" and other short & sweet notes. Regular board rules apply - this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests. We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions. This community gives back tenfold what you put into it!

CD/DPO of first BFP?How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
What did your chart look like? What were you doing TGKU?
How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? How are you going to/did you tell your partner?Anything else to add?
Re: TTGP - Grad Thread Week 9/18
CD/DPO of first BFP? i caved and tested sat afternoon, dpo9. fully expecting it to be neg cause that's so early but was surprised by a shadow. i couldn't even get it to show up in a pic to send to a friend to verify. i would have missed it if i wasn't a crazy person and didn't analyze it. But then i thought maybe i had line eyes. but its still there on tests and it did get darker today (11dpo). (still light cause 11dpo is STILL so early). and i'll be testing daily cause again.. crazy.
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? we started this journey 16 months ago, may 2016. we've lost 2 in that time with time on the bench also. but since coming off the bench, this was cycle 5.
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU? temping, OPKs, pom juice, green tea. and we both started ubiquinol this cycle, yet there's no way that had any impact on this cycle cause it takes like 3 months.
How was your timing? -3,-1,0
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? the boob soreness is different. I remember that from the last couple. its a lot worse in the nipple area. and the cramps were different. I'm used to period type cramps through out the tww. but they felt alittle different.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? after the losses, I really wanted to tell him in a fun way. he was working on Saturday and fully planned on waiting till I retested to tell him.... till he walked in the door. I just couldn't not tell him. I just said I had something interesting to show/tell him but not to get his hopes up yet. and I must say, he's doing very well with being cautious.
Anything else to add? I love this board. I came here in May once we got off the bench.. I was on another board during the losses. But you ladies have been so welcoming and helpful! I can't thank you all enough. And you girls in TTCAL, I've had high and low points and you all were sooo so supportive. thank you, thank you for your ears. I will be keeping everything crossed for you all and i'll be lurking so hard!

I’ve debated posting this because I don’t want to jinx anything, but I’m choosing to be optimistic and excited instead of nervous and jinx-phobic. What will be, will be. And the tests are slowly getting darker (though still v light). Also, this is me you’re reading a post from, so general TMI warning throughout.
CD/DPO of first BFP? 25/11 (Tuesday)
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? I started lurking TTGP in December 2015, started actively posting and TTC July 2016, (TW) miscarried in September 2016, benched then TTA, and started trying again May 2017, so… it’s been a journey with y'all.
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU?
· Tracking O, supplements, acupuncture, some lifestyle changes and all the sex. Details in spoiler below.
· Supplements: PNV, low dose vitamin D3, vegan Omega 369 + DHA (one with EPO pre-O, one without EPO post-O), coq10 pre-O (it ended up giving me insomnia when I couldn’t take it with melatonin anymore, and I kept forgetting in the morning), low dose melatonin pre-O; DH took all the same supplements I did except he took the pre-O omega the whole time and a men’s multi instead of a prenatal (he started doing this in May)
· Acupuncture: Three sessions this cycle so far, Chinese herbs (separate blend for pre-O and luteal phase); I believe these things eliminated my extensive mid-cycle spotting (my OBGYN ruled out any physical or hormonal causes via blood tests and ultrasounds)
· Lifestyle changes: reduced alcohol (for both DH and I starting CD1; DH reduced a lot more than I did), reduced plastic bottle usage, dyed my hair lavender and marathoned Grey’s Anatomy (lol ok those aren’t fertility related at all)
· Sex: pre-seed when necessary, attempting to not make pre-seed necessary by, well, vibration, staying in bed 20 min after sex (insert eye roll)
….So basically, all the things.
How was your timing? We started HIO EOD at CD6, and then we switched to ED once I got a positive OPK. Our timing ended up at -4, -2, -1, O, +1 (previous cycles we had always had at least one more day in there)
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
Sore boobs, creamy CM, twinges, NO SPOTTING! Details in spoiler below.
· No spotting! Guys! I haven’t spotted since I started with the acupuncture! My laundry is so excited!
· A lot of thin, creamy CM
· I definitely have what I can only describe as “twinges,” and they’re sort of all over – sometimes more near my ovaries, sometimes more near my pubic bone, sometimes central, sometimes lower back. They only last a second or two, almost like a small little jolt. It feels like a pinch. It feels VERY different from AF.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner?
TL;DR version: I basically kept him informed via gchat of my crazy POAS tendencies while he was at work, but eventually he stopped thinking I was crazy. Full story in spoiler below.
· 11dpo (Tuesday) there was the faaaaintest line with FMU within the 5 min frame, so I showed DH, and he was like, you’re nuts, there is nothing there, and you’re still testing too early. I realized I trained him so well to read OPKs he thought pregnancy tests were the same – the line had to be as dark or darker than the control. So, I explained, and he made me open a new wondfo so he could compare to an unused one, and finally agreed maybe, maybe there was a line. Then he got more excited. (TW) he was so incredibly devastated with our loss (he had to miss work because he could not stop crying while I was mostly fine with it emotionally because it was so early, just extremely grossed out by having to use pads, etc.) that he’s definitely guarding his heart a little more this time.
But I’m excited enough for both of us, and this morning he was pretty excited
Anything else to add? I’m going to miss you all so much! My projected due date is June 2, so I’m really, really hopeful that tons and tons of you follow me over to the June BMB. I’m going to be stalking like crazy, and it’s going to take all my willpower to resist commenting. Thank you for entertaining me with gifs and educating me on everything fertility-related over the last year!
And if anyone in the future has any questions re: my experience with mid-cycle spotting, acupuncture or anything else, please feel free to PM or tag me, duh.
