Saturday Ticker Change 9/16

Your "ticker change day" is the day you switch over to being another full week pregnant (e.g. 5 weeks instead of 4 weeks and 6 days).

    1.  How far along are you?  How big is baby? Five weeks. Baby is the size of an apple seed. 

    2.  How are you feeling?     I would feel great if I didn't have this nasty cold I picked up last week. Lots of chest and nasal congestion. It's gross.

    3.  Any appointments coming up?      I have my first appointment with my OB's nurse on the 29th. That's also when I'll get my first ultrasound.

    4.  Rants/raves/questions?     Rave: My husband got me Chinese take out when I was craving it yesterday. Rant: As soon as he brought it home and I started eating it, it didn't taste good.  :|

    5.  GTKY: What weird or useless talent do you have? I can hang a spoon from my nose for a really long time. One time in college I just left one on my nose all through dinner, and walked back to my dorm without it falling off. It stayed on for more than two hours.

    1.  How far along are you?  How big is baby? Four weeks, baby is a poppy seed  :)
    2.  How are you feeling? I'm still feeling great. Still breastfeeding my 2 year old, so I'm hoping that I don't have terrible breast tenderness. 
    3.  Any appointments coming up? I see my OBGYN in a week and a half. 
    4.  Rants/raves/questions? I wish I could sleep. I'm sure my body will figure it out, but right now I wake up to nurse or because I should be nursing and can't get back to sleep...so tired!
    5.  GTKY: What weird or useless talent do you have? I can hoot like a Spotted Owl *Whaooo*  :p

    1.  How far along are you?  How big is baby? 7 weeks. I've got a little blueberry!

    2.  How are you feeling?     honestly this is the worst I've ever felt in my life. I picked up a stomach bug taking my kiddo to the Dr and that paired with morning sickness is killer.

    3.  Any appointments coming up?     I have my first appointment on Monday.

    4.  Rants/raves/questions?     I have to rave about my DH! He has taken such good care of me this week and I honestly don't know how I would've survived without him.

    5.  GTKY: What weird or useless talent do you have?     I can sing"Suspicious Minds" in a Louis Armstrong impression. It's totally random

    queasy and tired

    a week from Monday but it's just an intake with the nurse. I think my first real appt with my OBGYN and US will be 2 weeks after that

    I slept so good last night but I am still exhausted

    2.  How are you feeling?     Soooo tired. I also, like @lincbeesmom want all the food in theory, but then when it actually comes to eating something, I basically have to force it down. I'm trying to keep up with between meal snacks to keep the gross feelings at bay some

    3.  Any appointments coming up?     Finally first appointment on Tuesday! If it's still the same style, I'll meet with the nurse only, pee test confirmation, discuss pregnancy dos and dont's, and have a brief portable sono to confirm number of sacs and approximate size, and that everything is implanted in the correct place. No take home pictures, sad

    4.  Rants/raves/questions?     Rave: Excited for my first appointment. It will be nice to have the official confirmation and then we will be telling our parents. Rant: And then we have to tell our parents, who don't judge or anything, but last time they became so hyper focused on the baby it's like I all but disappeared as a person *sigh*

    5.  GTKY: What weird or useless talent do you have?     I can remember where all of DH's shit is when he can't, does that count?

    @pharmladypdx When you are in your signature settings, you need to choose the "Toggle HTML view" button, last one on the right, looks like this: </>

    After you've switched that setting, paste in your ticker link, then switch back to change paragraph settings or add other text

    @artlea2013 Thank you for your reply. I know these tickers are a bit silly, but I didn't do them last time I was with the Bump and I think it would be fun. let see if it works.

    rant: feels like DS "knows" something is up. He's super extra clingy. That or another phase!

    @firefliesandfjords I was sick with nasal connection and elated cough for about 10 days until just recently. Hope you get well soon!

    6 weeks. Baby is the size of a sweet pea, about 1/4 of an inch long.


    2.  How are you feeling?
    like crap! I think I may have a cold and my hips hurt at night, so I didn't get much sleep last night.


    3.  Any appointments coming up?
    yes, Friday the 22nd is my first OB


    4.  Rants/raves/questions?
    I am just miserable right now. But SO is awesome and has been cleaning for me and is gunna cook dinner tonight.

    my fingers are somewhat double jointed. I enjoy freaking ppls out sometimes ;)

    Pretty good overall- really tired but overall ok. It's actually making me nervous that I feel so good. I know it shouldn't.

    First appt Oct 5th

    Super excited for a family vacation to San Diego next week!!
