R/R: Rant- OPKs are delayed...Just got notified by USPS that their new arrival date is in TWO weeks. Good thing I have long cycles cause I may still get them in time. Guess we shall see. Rave- DH comes home tonight. So excited to jump his bones....TMI? Oops!
CS/Q: Nothing to see still
GTKY: Most interesting, or embarrassing, place you've ever had sex... was probably in the parking lot of an insurance company at around 10pm. We just randomly pulled over after Def Leopard's Pour Some Sugar on Me came on the radio due to my karaoke performance being a bit arousing I guess...lol. Most embarrassing situation, not necessarily place, was while I was on hold with my bank. It was while we were still dating. DH initiated thinking I'd shoot him down, but I didn't! DH still says that he knew we were meant to be after that. I was embarrassingly out of breath once a representative FINALLY answered. *sighs* I miss those days of spontaneity!

WAYDTGKU everything including throwing in the kitchen sink...
R/R went for first monitoring appointment this morning after 5 days of stims for first IVF cycle, and how many follicles do you think I have of the right size? One. Yep, less than I get on average naturally! And now they are worried I might ovulate before it's mature. We're going to HIO all weekend just in case, but seriously pissed with my body today... Back on Monday to see where we are and what we do.
oh and just to top it off it's my birthday...
CS/Q still temping but nothing to see yet and will start peeing on OPKs tomorrow just in case, though with the drugs I can't necessarily trust them.
GTKY Well I grew up a horsey girl, so stables, hay barns, fields all made it on my list fairly early (I had a bf for five years as a teenager). Though also on a beach at night (though on the east coast of the U.K. So a bit chilly!!!). In the living room downstairs at my parents house whilst they were upstairs asleep... Whilst on a telco for work, occasionally unmuting to add a point of view. DH loves to start things off whilst I'm on a work call, but also love that we can still be like teenagers at times.
Oh and in an elevator at a work conference with around 400 senior managers in the same hotel, but again with a long term partner.
I think I'm going to stop there before I give you totally the wrong impression!!!

WAYDTGKU: Tracking my cycle, tracking CF, OPK, Pre-Seed, legs in the air like I just don't care after baby dancing, going to start using Premama fertility supplement today, got a sample to try out.
R/R: Rant - I feel this past month was sabotaged by my brother in law. My peak fertile window was labor day weekend and he showed up to stay the entire weekend at our house and totally got in the way of our baby making. I was cramping the day he showed he showed up and pretty sure it was the day I ovulated, DH and I didn't get to dance till almost 24 hours after I felt the cramping, so likely lost that egg. Rave - Pumpkin spice coffee is here and it's getting colder out, I'm so basic this time of year.

@emmasemm Happy birthday! So sorry that your body hasn't responded to the stimms as you hoped. Have you had a chance to talk about next steps with your doctor? Can he change up the protocol to try again?

R/R: I don't whether all of this is a rant or a rave, but I had my cd 3 bw yesterday, so I'm waiting on those results. My HSG is scheduled for Tuesday. MH can't take off work, so I have to go alone. I also scheduled an initial consult with an RE in mid-October. I'm a little bit freaked out by all of this, but also glad to have some next steps in place. I also have a busy day ahead at work, so I'll do my best to get on here and comment, but I may not reappear until evening. For sure a rave - MH and I are going to the renaissance faire tomorrow! We don't dress up or anything, but we enjoy the food and shows. It'll be great to truly take a day off.

I'm pretty boring! Outside in our yard at our last house (we had high fences) is probably about as interesting as it gets.
And with the elevator I have to say it was 3am (and we were maybe a touch inebriated;-)) and actually we selected all the buttons for the top half and hoped nobody would be wanting to go up from midway to the top at that time of the morning.... I don't remember the exact floor numbers but it was something like 9 to 30something... (his room was top floor)
Sorry if it's TMI but he was more than capable of "regrouping" within a few minutes, so one "quickie" on the way up was then followed by a full session once we were in the room... fun but dangerous days...

@darkstar42 we talked today and as there are only two other follies and one he's not sure he can reach (as I have ovary that hides somewhere deep and high) then we're giving the second one til Monday to catch up and then if it looks like it will then delay ER til thurs - if not go ahead for the one Weds. All I have to do is not O before that!!! And in the last few hours I remembered I'm lucky to have an RE that will even think about going ahead with only 1 or 2 follies - most cancel ER with less than 4 mature follies it seems. So trying to focus on the positives for now.

R/R: DH and I had a bit of a spat this morning - not a nice way to start the day. He was wearing these really tight briefs and I told him they weren't good for his sperm and he should change. He just shrugged it off, said it was fine. That really got me going, I just feel like I'm the one doing all the research, making changes, etc. and he is like *oh it's fine, I can take hot baths, wear tight underwear, and have a drink every night*... Yet he is so excited and really wants this. So anyway, I think he finally heard my point this morning...he promised he would start doing some of his own reading into sperm health so that I wasn't always having to convince him all the time.

@darkstar42 Glad you have steps in place to move forward! My HSG was really no big deal so I am hoping yours is the same. I did take Advil about an hour beforehand on my Dr recommendation. Will you get to see your results when they come in? Or will you just find out at your consult?
@krashke Do you have cheapie OPKs? I started today (on CD 8) since I have Od as early as CD13. I also use the CBAD so not cheap, but I like that it also picks up the estrogen surge. Remind me- are you temping? If you are it's probably not a big deal to start early if you are still consistent with HIO but if you are only relying on OPKs to pinpoint O I would start a little earlier. Just my opinion

@MrsMiller8588 I have wandfo's OPK's so I can POAS to my hearts content! Follow up Q: the directions on them say to pee in a cup and dip it in for 3 secs but that seems like more work then just sticking it in the stream. Will it still work if I just hold it under there for 3 secs? Also I started temping with a reg dig and it is giving me weird numbers so I just bought a BBT today.
